Jack Rhodes brutally mugged Rose Morat, a 101-year-old woman on her way to church on the 4th of March, 2007.
This award-winning humanitarian pretended to help her get out of her apartment building, then turns on her, grabbing her head and punching three times.
Then Jack Rhodes took her purse, containing $33 and Rose Morat’s house keys.
As Rose reached for her purse, not understanding what was going on, he hit her again, pushing her walker to the ground and her along with it.
The NYPD assigned dozens of detectives to the case and showed the surveillance video that covered the assault to every uniformed officer in the city.
Jack Rhodes stated that he was, “So sorry for what happened” as he was led out of the police station.
One thing’s for sure: he was sorry that he was caught.
Jack Rhodes was charged with robbery as a hate crime, burglary as a hate crime, second-degree assault, and grand larceny.
He was also charged with with additional burglary, assault, robbery, and grand larceny due to another attack that Jack Rhodes committed against a 51-year-old woman late in December of 2006 in Jamaica.
Jack Rhodes has a lengthy criminal record. He was released from prison in 2003, after being sent there for three counts of assault, grand larceny, possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and unlawful trespassing.

Violent criminals should not get reduced sentences or probatiob or parole. It’s amazing that 101 year old lady survived the mugging! It’s a shame she didn’t beat him to death with her walker!

Punched a defenseless old lady!? That’s almost as bad as any form of child abuse. Two things that are sure to piss me off: Child Abuse and Elder Abuse.
Violence is all these savages know. The families of the victims need to teach the beast’s family what it feels like to be a crime victim.
