65-year-old Keith Ashworth has no problem admitting what he is. You just have to ask nicely, after all, while being interviewed by detectives, Keith Ashworth freely admitted that he’s a pedophile who made videos of what he put his victims through.
A charge of bestiality was in there at some point too.
As well as saying “I did it!” to 12 sexual offenses, Keith Ashworth also pled guilty to 57 more charges, some of which related to the 3000 images and videos that ranged from child porn to man-on-dog smut.
Keith Ashworth worked as a handyman throughout his life and was a regular visitor to different parts of the country, where he would commit his crimes. According to Keith, between June of 1994 and July of 2006 he committed one rape, attempted to rape a five-year-old boy, tried to rape a slightly older boy, had three indecent assaults, two sexual assaults, twice took indecent photos and did a few other little minor things involving children as young as three years old.
Keith Ashworth was also accused of having sex with his pet dog. He admitted to that as well, but the courts decided that they had enough on their plate with the sexual offenses against the children and dropped the “sex with Fido” charge.
Detectives reported to the court that they had difficulty sleeping while they investigated the depths of depravity Keith Ashworth was subjecting his victims to.
Detective Inspector Paul Smith told the press that the police are confident that they have traced all of Ashworth’s victims. According to Smith:
There were about eight of my staff who had to deal with the evidence and all have had mandatory professional counseling, such was the nature of the material. A colleague who worked in our high-tech computer department for three years dealing with this kind of material says it is the worst he has ever seen. Ashworth is a very dangerous man. It’s apparent from the judge’s comments that this man is going to be removed from the streets for some time.
The judge in the Ashworth case, Judge Paul Batty, told Keith Ashworth:
You have admitted a catalog of grievous crimes against youngsters. A very, very heavy sentence awaits you in respect of these offenses. They’re about as serious as I have ever seen.
Keith Ashworth was sentenced to life in prison. In the UK, this means he will be let out after 15 years.
Why is the death penalty off the table for these types of individuals again?

I have no idea why these individuals are allowed to go on living. They can not be rehabilitated and even chemical castration has proven ineffective.
It’s worse than murder. A child can’t defend themselves and has to live out a fucked up life henceforth.
I’m of the mind that they be drawn and quartered. Let a trustee or three clean up the mess afterward and receive special duty pay.

Until there is political pressure on our elected representatives to ensure these types of crimes are eligible for either the death penalty or life in prison, we won’t see much of a reduction in the numbers of these types of crimes.
It’s terrible what people do to one another. If you take it upon yourself to violate the social contract then you should be cast out of normal society.
Give them Antarctica.

Well I sort of agree with you. Make them go away is my whole idea. They should never be afforded the opportunity to prey again.
I just don’t see the death penalty or life in the big house as being a factor in reduction of crime, any crime. The majority of criminals in general have an I don’t give a damn about consequences. Never even crosses their minds. They don’t think like normal people.
Child predators can’t control their behavior. It’s impossible for anyone to ignore their sexuality, no matter how evil and fucked up it may be.
But then maybe you meant a reduction as in not allowing for recidivism. That I could understand and get behind.
