The current president of Iran. He really, really, really, really hates the Jews. And Israel, which has a lot of Jews. And America, which also has a lot of Jews. If there were a lot of Jews in Japan, he’d be hating them too.
Mr. Ahmadinejad feels that Israel should be “wiped off the face of the earth,” and recently stated that Iran and Palestine had pressed some kind of “countdown button” that would bring down Israel forever.
Oh really?
Considering Iran has refused to even entertain the idea of stopping their nuclear weapon development program, and how the United States and its’ allies would respond to active aggression towards Israel, I would have to say that, should push come to shove, Mr. Ahmadinejad would probably be wise to live in a very deep, very secure bunker for a while.
Nuclear weapon development programs in the hands of religious fanatics of any stripe is really bad for the world. Those kinds of weapons are not particularly good when they’re in the hands of stable, established republics, either, but hey - what can you do?
Of course Mr. Ahmadinejad has said that there is no such intention and that such a program was “illegal and against our religion.”
I feel so much better for knowing this. Let’s all cheer for reason, everyone. One, two, three….

One of the most vile,uneducated attitudes a human can have is an overwhelming hatred of others because of their race, religion, sex, or language. I believe you can trace these kinds of attitudes back to one of the original sins - Pride.
