22-year-old Iftekhar Murtaza, whose name suggests that he is possibly from the Scottish highlands, was picked up at the Phoenix airport before he could use his one-way ticket to get on a plane headed for Bangladesh – to visit his sick grandmother no doubt.
Mr. Murtaza was extradited back to the Los Angeles area to face charges that could possibly send him to Hell.
After all, leaving your ex-girlfriend’s mother, Leela Dhanak, bludgeoned and unconscious on a neighbor’s lawn while the bodies of her 56-year-old father, Jayprakash Dhanak, and 20-year-old sister, Karishma Dhanak, are burning in a park near Concordia University in Irvine – that’s two murder while kidnapping charges.

Murtaza had started a loan company, employing Vitaliy Krasnoperov, his best friend. Vitaliy Krasnoperov is being accused of assisting Iftekhar Murtaza in the devastation of the family of Shayona Dhanak, Murtaza’s ex-girlfriend.
Iftekhar Murtaza’s cellphone was used near the crime scene an hour or so before the house fire, although Murtaza told authorities during questioning that he wasn’t in Anaheim Hills that night.

damn. i went to school with vitaliy and iftekhar… sadly, i am sure they did it. no question. they were pretty scary, and from what i know changed high schools regularly due to expulsions. these two had a really weird relationship — to be honest, i thought they were gay. maybe they weren’t, but they sure dressed and acted suuuuuper weho metrosexual. i *almost* partied with them in 2006. yikes.

Most of dumbasses on here are Christians. I guess that means their religion taught them to dope up and lill and rape people. Damn, I am muslim and I went to Christian schools my whole life. Judging by your logic I should be the worst person in the depths of hell. But wait, I do not even smoke. My extended family which numbers over 50, not one of us even drink. None have had premarital sex ect. So what does that say?
Do not defame a religion based on the actions of dumbassess (is that a word?). Because dumbasses come in all shapes, sizes, religions, economic status ect.
The problem is that you can’t kill in Christ’s name because he raised people from the dead, preached turn the other cheek, love your enemies and even let himself be peacefully killed, only to rise from the dead. Mohammad slit many throats, burned many people, chopped off many heads. So when your teacher is Christ and you love – your religion plays a role. When your teacher is a killer taught how to kill and you kill – your religion plays a role. That’s how that works.
What about the fact that Christians started the Crusades and killed men, raped women and pillaged lands in places where people weren’t Christian? I agree. You can’t use religion as a basis for someone’s actions. Everyone is responsible for his or her own actions. Islam doesn’t teach people to kill. Neither does Christianity or Judaism or Hinduism, etc. You can’t blame the religion for what he may or may not have done. But all that aside, every one is so ready to convict him. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Just because the media paints the picture the way they want to doesn’t mean he isn’t entitled to a fair trial and entitled to the rights we ALL as Americans are entitled to. People are so stupid sometimes.
