Noel George Martin
Noel George Martin, a 55-year-old pedophile, indirectly caused the death of a 73-year-old great-grandmother.
Two boys, one a 15-year-old and the other 16, were on the road to a life of crime. Stealing this here, pilfering that there.
Their life of crime took a more serious turn when, one night in October of 2000, they broke into the house that 73-year-old Marie Greening Zidan shared with her 47-year-old developmentally-challenged son, stealing a purse and $10. They returned the next night, looking for more easy takings, but woke Marie instead.
While her retarded son was watching, these two hit the great-grandmother over and over with fists and feet, fracturing her ribs before sitting on her chest while sexually assaulting her. When they were done, they strangled her to death.
These two teens, when caught, had no problem with what they had done. They’ve never apologised or shown any kind of guilt for what they did to another person. In fact, after they killed this helpless woman, they left taunting messages on her daughter’s answering machine.
Due to Australia’s odd legal system, the boys’ identities will never be revealed, although one is already out of prison at age 22.
Where does Noel George Martin come in? He was the babysitter of one of the boys.
Noel Martin also sexually abused one of the boys from the time when the kid was 9 until when he was 13.
Mr. Martin pled guilty to more than 30 sexually-related charges involving the boy. Charges like sexual penetration of a child and indecent acts with a child.
Do you think this kind of abuse could possibly have warped the teen’s mind a little bit? Maybe enough to blur his understanding of right and wrong? Maybe this was enough abuse to tear down the walls that hold someone back from indulging in what they otherwise would shrink from doing.
Just because your hand doesn’t hold the knife doesn’t mean you didn’t place the knife into the killer’s hand.

that’s an interesting twist. if he had molested him for the 4 years that he did, why was it never dealt with appropriately?
