Sandra Camille Bridewell
Sandra Camille Bridewell was first married in 1967 to a dentist in Dallas named David Stegall. They had three children and enjoyed living an upper-middle-class life.
In 1976, David Stegall was found dead by Sandra in their bedroom with a bullet in his temple and slashed wrists.
Sandra Bridewell collected more than $300,000 after cashing in the insurance and selling the house.
Two years later, she married Bobby Bridewell, a wealthy real-estate developer. He died of cancer in 1982, after adopting her children and leaving a sizable fortune to Sandra.
While her husband was dying, Bobby Bridewell’s doctor’s wife, Betsy Bagwell, befriended Sandra Bridewell. In June of 1982, she left on an errand, telling the kids not to “pig out” before she came back. She didn’t come back, apparently shooting herself in the head while sitting in her Mercedes.
Alan Rehrig was husband number three, marrying Sandra Bridewell after she told him she was pregnant. She also told her 29-year-old husband that she was 36 when she was really 40.
After the wedding, Sandra Bridewell told her new husband that she miscarried.
A year later, Alan Rehrig was found dead in his Ford Bronco, dressed in his shorts, shot twice in the head and frozen solid. He had just separated with Sandra and was going to meet with her at a storage locker to remove some belongings.
Sandra was the beneficiary of his $100,000 in life insurance.
The woman people began to refer to as “The Black Widow” roamed around the South for a while, writing bad checks and performing little scams.
In 2003, Bridewell ingratiated herself with an elderly couple, offering live-in care. She was kicked out by the wife after she was caught whispering “I love you” to the old guy. Later they found out she was getting him to write her large checks.
Finally, Sandra Bridewell was arrested after stealing another elderly woman’s credit cards and withdrawing money from her bank accounts while Sandra was working as her live-in caregiver.
Now 62, Sandra Camille Bridewell is a suspect in at least three deaths that happened under unusual circumstances. She was, at last report, using her time in jail to preach the Lord’s word to other inmates.

I was involved in a RE scam she was trying. Very scarry! She posed as a widow who had been in Africa building schools and now wanted to buy land and beocme a developer like her dead husband. In the process she got over eager real estate agents to support her while she looked for land. when she could not perform on the agreements she disappeared. We have often joked about Camille, but its no joke!
I was just wondering about the lady that died? What did that have to do with her being a black widow? I don’t really see the connection in that.
The connection is…..Sandra was who she was with the last time she was seen alive. She left her home and children to run Sandra to the airport to rent a car. That was where she was found, shot in the head.
This woman is currently living here in Marion, NC and this is one weird woman. I do not put anything past this evil woman, she has stolen from my wife and I, lies with every breath and is currently trying to get next to a lonely 80 year old widower. She really needs to be back in jail for the rest of her life. The worst thing is that she uses the name of God for all her schemes. This woman is really bad news!
