Michael Mullen, the 21-year-old uncle of little 2-year-old Casey Leigh Mullen, liked to collect BDSM child porn.
Michael had been charged with raping a 12-year-old girl on a school playground in 2003, but those charges had been dropped when it became a “he said – she said” kind of affair as Mullen admitted having sex with the girl but claimed she had asked for it.
In February of 2007, after a night of drinking, Michael Mullen stumbled home to his brother’s house, where he was living at the time.
Michael lay down next to his niece, Casey Leigh Mullen, a beautiful 2-year-old girl whose nickname was “Smiley.” This, in and of itself wasn’t unusual, as family members would often sleep next to the toddler. What happened next was unusual.
Michael Mullen slipped little Casey’s pajamas off and took a picture of the little girl, naked below the waist.
Police later found the picture he had taken on Michael’s cellphone.
After this display of photographic skill, Michael Mullen raped his 2-year-old niece, a tiny, defenseless girl who knew and trusted him.
After raping the little girl, Michael strangled Casey to death and left her, dead and smeared with blood, in her bed.
The toddler’s body was reportedly found by her mother, Samantha Canham, who, in what can only be described as a nightmare scenario for any parent, screamed, “she’s dead, she’s dead, someone’s killed Casey” while cradling the little girl in her arms and rocking back and forth.
Michael Mullen confessed and was sentenced to serve a prison term of a minimum of 35 years.
Following the sentencing, Casey Mullen’s parents issued a statement.
We have some very happy memories of Casey Leigh and she will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. She was a special little girl. We thank the good people of Leeds and particularly all those who sent us cards and letters. Those were a great comfort to us. We would now like to get on with our lives in peace and attempt to come to terms with the events of the last few months.

Most deserving of a special form of hell.
Oh my god that is horrible. How can someone be so perverted and messed up and sick in the head to do something like this to such a beautiful little girl? It makes me want to cry. She knew him and loved him and then he did this to her. It’s sick and when I can just imagine how it went it makes me want to cry.

He had already been in trouble for having sex with a twelve year old. Why didnt he do time then? Because of some he said, she said bullshit? Even if the 12yr old had consented why was he not charged with statutory rape? Why was he ever able to be near that poor baby?

The judge said this as he senetenced this perv to 35 years: “You are a very dangerous man who is capable of lethal, violent, sexual crimes against children and you will continue to be so for the foreseeable future.”
So, I ask this – why 35 years? That’s not even the average life expectancy that he stole from this beautiful baby. Maybe it’s half.
The judge KNEW that this pervert is dangerous, and must also know that whenever he gets out he will be even more dangerous.
Crimes against children are the worst, because, if this perv were to (I know – but just IF) actually be in jail for the full 35 years.. (I SAID I KNOW!!!).. he would be in his early 50′s when he got out.
Men can and have molested and killed children all the way into their 70′s and 80′s and maybe even beyond that.
So, this judge effectively passed a death sentence on some other as-yet unknown, probably unborn child. KILL THE CRIMINAL!!

And i hope some kind of hell is waiting for him to give him exactley what he gave this beautiful baby. This is the reason I keep my kids close to me and the hubby. I dont let noone (family members friends.etc) get to close to my babies. I may sound paranoid but oh well.

Lena, I too keep my babies close to me and they are 16 & 17 now, but God gave them to me to protect them and raise them, so no I don’t think you are paranoid. :-D

I happen to like the “new” authors. Amy if you want to get emotional in your writing please do. It shows that you are human and you care about the innocent. One of the reasons this site exists.
If you don’t like t he writing then leave and don’t come back. Or better like Amy challenges write one up yerself. Not an easy task at all.
What I seem to get from them is that admin wasn’t as biased or emotional. I can pick out some stories from the archives that the tone was similar to the more recent ones. The common factor was they were HORRIBLE stories. The last few child abuse cases were worse than most and I doubt anyone couldv’e written it another way. I think that for an unbiased opinion or a news article they can simply google the names and read the news. This site is called “People you’ll see in Hell” to me that means that we have already formed an opinion and the articles will reflect such. Like I said all of you are doing great in my opinion.

I agree with you Lena. I have a major problem with laying down with a two year old not being a problem. I can understand as a mother or father doing it but a 21 year old uncle. I would take some major issue with this especially if he had already shown that he preferred them young. I was also thinking doesn’t a 2 year old still have a baby moniter in their room?

I have friends who know the family. Although young, the couple is still together and they’re holding up pretty good, considering what happened. Last I heard they were expecting a son and their other kid is doing well.

There is no such thing as BDSM child porn. BDSM is founded on the consent of all participants.
