Terapon Dang Adhahn
Every parent’s nightmare happened on July 4th of 2007 to father Mikhail Linnik.
Mikhail sent his little 12-year-old girl, Zina Linnik, out into the alley behind their home at a quarter to 10 at night to bring back some of Zina’s brothers and sisters who had been watching neighborhood fireworks displays.
Good, American fun for a family that had immigrated to the US ten years ago and assimilated nicely.
His little girl’s scream and caused Mikhail to run to the alley to see what had happened to his little girl.
It wasn’t a car accident.
Mikhail Linnik arrived in the alley just in time to see an asian man get into a boxy grey van and speed off down the alley.
There was a single flip-flop on the ground next to the van’s tracks.
It was Zina Linnik’s flip-flop.
Who did the van belong to?
The van belonged to 42-year-old Thai immigrant Terapon Dang Adhahn, a man who had been in the custody of the authorities since July 9th due to “an immigration complaint.”
Adhahn had recently changed the plates on his grey van, a van which neighbors were surprised even worked.
Terapon Adhahn, unlike the Linnik’s, didn’t behave himself while he was a guest in the US.
He enlisted in the Army and served from 1984 until 1990. In 1990, Terapon Adhahn was charged with the violent raping of a his 16-year-old half-sister while he was a private at Fort Lewis. By pleading guilty to the lesser charge of first-degree incest, he was allowed to walk free as long as he registered as a level one sex offender and completed 60 months of sexual deviancy counseling.
As you can see, the sexual deviancy counseling didn’t take.
Interestingly, during one of many psychological evaluations, a doctor wrote on his file, “He is an angry and poorly controlled man with a plethora of psychological, emotional and behavioral problems. Long-term intensive psychotherapy and monitoring of his behavior will be necessary to ensure the safety of the community.”
I guess that didn’t happen.
As we’re all familiar with the incompetence of our national immigration officers from ICE, none of you should be surprised that Terapon Adhahn somehow flew under ICE’s radar and was never deported for that crime – this despite the fact that he had been diagnosed as having a rather severe case of pedophilia by several pyschiatrists who evaluated him.
When the police questioned Terapon Dang Adhahn, he was very cooperative. He let them search his house, where officials took all sorts of forensic goodies, like used vacuum cleaner filters, black plastic sheeting and girls’ underpants.
He was even nice enough to tell them where the body was…
Whoops.
On July 12, 2007, after authorities went where Terapon Adhahn suggested a body could be found, they found Zina Linnik’s body.
Terapon Dang Adhahn has, since then, shut up and asked for a lawyer.
Mr. Adhahn has been charged so far with failing to register as a sex offender, and would face that charge before being deported.
Maybe capital murder will be added to his list of charges soon.
Or other charges perhaps? Investigators are reviewing other child homicides and a few unexplained area disappearances for any kind of connection to Terapon Adhahn, any kind of similarity. Investigators are going back over 20- year-old records.
12-year-old Tacoma resident Michella Welch was found dead a few hours after she vanished from a park on March 26, 1986.
Later that year, Jennifer Bastian, 13, of Tacoma, was found dead in a park where she’d been last seen riding her bicycle two weeks earlier.
Other files being looked at again by authorities include the cases of a 4-year-old who vanished in 1995 and a 10-year old who vanished last year.
On July 19, 2007, Terapon Dang Adhahn pled not guilty to several charges. He has now been charged with one count of first-degree rape, three counts of second-degree rape and three counts of child rape in connection with a series of assaults on a Kansas teenager. All that raping happened during the four years she lived with Mr. Adhahn.
Terapon has also been charged with first-degree kidnapping and several counts of first-degree rape that happened to an 11-year-old girl in May of 2000, near a Tacoma, Washington army base.
Terapon Adhahn’s pretrial hearing is set for August 7th.

If convicted we should start hanging these guys in public so it is widely known that we will not stand for this abuse.
We can not allow the this to happen again. Take the loop hole away from our authorities and force them to do thier job and nail these guys by deportation, gas chambers and electric chairs.
“Give me your tired your poor, your pediphiles, your rapists, your social outcasts and perverts” is now what our Statue of Liberty’s sign should be saying. We keep letting these people into our once safe country and this is going to keep happening. Death to all pedaphiles. No cure is known to man. No counseling available. This is a sickness that has no cure. Death is the only solution and even then satan will probably put extra guards at the gates of hell.
Why do we keep putting innocent pot smokers in prison and let these monsters walk freely? That he is a foreigner alone makes me not like him, but that he is a child raping and killing foreigner makes him the worst form of scum. But our courts turn a blind eye to this, there are too many “dangerous pot smokers” out there that need to be incarcerated. God this makes me want to et a gun and go to every house of every registered offender and end this nightmare….but then i will be in a cell that should house one of them instead.

Nice to see all those $$$$ on fatherland security has really paid off, thanks George Bush for bankrupting our country whilst telling us we will somehow be safer will all the new security we have in place.
Sorry Ed, but not everything is not Bush’s fault. I am not a Bush fan but I believe a lot of our immigration problems, this recession we are in and wall street are due to Clinton’s lack of caring for our country. If he had cared about our country half as much as he cared about getting laid I do believe things would be a little different right now.
What scares me is that some of the people that comment on these are actually talking of burning the pedophiles and rapists and murderers alive or skinning them or all sorts of wicked stuff, which makes them little better than the people they’re talking about. Torturing is wrong as well people. Just say that you hope they are awarded the death penalty and are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Theres already enough suffering and hatred in the world as it is to hate people who’s soul’s or/and minds are corrupted. Learn to love and don’t read so many of these depressing stories. Me personally i only read like 2 a month because i just find it so depressing. Don’t corrupt your mind with these horrible things that you read and about the people that you don’t even know or that aren’t associated with you.

If it makes people feel better to say they would like to see pedophiles tortured and rapists castrated, then I’m all for it. They’re just words, and so far as I know a word has never caused actual harm to anyone.
We prefer to save out love for the victims of the rapists and pedophiles on this website. We have gotten countless emails and comments from actual victims of the people we have written about thanking us for our stories and for the support of all those “hateful” comments. Many of the people who comment here are actual survivors or child molestation and rape. It makes them feel safe to be among other people who are so vocal about their feelings or just to know that there are regular people who are so empathetic to what they’ve been through.
You’ve read some of the comments and judged them on face value, without knowing nearly enough of the facts. You forget that there’s is a living, thinking, feeling human being behind every one of those posts, and each has his or her reason for posting what they did. You have no right to assume you know us, or why we do what we do. So do us all a big favor an shut the fuck up.

I think if you are an immigrant and commit a violent crime in the US, whether it be rape or murder or assault, you should automatically be sentenced to the maximum sentence; or, better yet, you should be punished in the manner of your home country. In Thailand, they would hang him, so I think that is appropriate justice.
