It never ceases to amaze me, but it seems like there is an endless supply of idiots in this world who are unaware that police and FBI officers are online, looking for sexual predators.

Officers in Florida caught 22 sexual predators this past weekend during a sting called “Operation Guardian.” This same department caught 28 of these freaks during a four-day sting in April of 2007.

Anyone who has seen Dateline’s “To Catch A Predator” series knows what happens during these stings.

Cops go online, pretend to be little girls or boys and wait for these freaks to come along and make a pass at them.

It never takes long before the fish bite the hook, as evidenced by the success of Operation Guardian.

The freaks always have to push to meet the “kids,” whose “parents” are usually “out of town.”

The freaks get the address of the sting house, come over, and are surprised to see cops waiting in the living room with handcuffs.

It’s always interesting to learn what these pedophiles do for a day job. This sting turned up some good ones. One was a screener for Homeland Security at an airport. Another was a youth hockey coach. Yet another was a rental agent for Universal Studios Florida.

According to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, some of the men who showed up carried sex toys and other instruments to use on the “children.”

They come here with instruments or toys. And they come here to ravish children. And quite frankly, we are working at the federal, state and local level to keep that from happening. There are a lot of predators out there, moms and dads. We have got to work together to protect them. Keeping our children safe from sexual predators has to be our top responsibility.

Why there aren’t more of these stings is beyond me. It seems that they could do these every single weekend in every single state and have a near-constant stream of sexual predators coming in the doors and walking into handcuffs.
