People You’ll See In Hell

Although People You’ll See In Hell does focus on the evil people in our midst, looking at their crimes and mourning for their victims, sometimes we forget the other victims - the family members of the offender.

Case in point:

Terapon Dang Adhahn, who is a suspected serial rapist.

One of his daughters wrote me an e-mail.

sometimes people have to look at things in another persons perspective i yes we all see that he murdered and raped all of these innocent girls but as my father he was a good fathe to me and my sister tasheena adhahn. and its not his fault that nobody saw his cry for help and actually tried to help him. so no i will not hate my father for this. i still love him as the same man who loved and cared for me.

It has come out that Terapon Adhahn had been sexually abused when he was seven and living in Bangkok.. His mother came forward with the story of her mother-in-law complaining about Terapon screaming hysterically at night. Frequently.

It was only when he moved into his aunt’s Texas home in 2001 that she learned why Terapon Adhahn was screaming, way back then - an older relative of his had raped him for years. That relative is now dead, but the effects of his actions live on through Terapon Adhahn.

“Maybe that’s why he’s angry inside,” said his mother. “He is sick and needs help,” the aunt said.
