Sometimes, love doesn’t last.
Peter Seaton and Sharon Wright are a perfect example.
Peter says Sharon did the abusing that led to 4-year-old Leticia Wright’s death, that all he did was pick the little girl up and cuddle her after Sharon beat her.
Sharon Wright testified that Peter Seaton had hit Leticia in a rage because he had run out of pot.
So we have two different stories here.
During the trial, Peter Seaton’s ex-girlfriend Natalie Watson took the witness stand. She had some interesting things to say.
First, she claimed that she had been asked by Seaton to tell police that he had only hit her once, a statement which she later recanted, saying that she was friends with his family and that she didn’t want to make him sound like a bad man.
Natalie Watson then went on to claim that Seaton had punched and kicked her on numerous occasions and that he loved to spit in her face.
Watson did have some bad things to say about Sharon Wright, the “other woman” who had stolen her man. Watson claimed that before Wright had moved away with Peter Seaton, that she had seen Wright hitting Leticia on a regular basis.
When asked if she had seen Sharon Wright display any love or affection for the little girl, Natalie Watson claimed that all the love the little girl had experienced had been from Peter, who, she claimed, comforted her when she had been smacked.
Peter, of course, denied that he had ever hit Natalie Watson and claimed that he had never contacted her during the trial, to get her to say anything in his favor.
The jury is in the deliberation stages now, so we’ll see who they felt was more believable quite soon.

I cannot be the only person who cannot understand WTF these morans are saying. I don’t have a problem with slang- a few judicial choices here and there can express your individual personality. The key, though, is to have sentence structure before and after those words, so that other people can actually understand what you are saying. I can even forgive people who cognitively just can’t spell properly as long as if the words were spelled right, their statements were legible.
I would like to know when y’all dropped out of school. Didja just get tired of all that learning and shit, or were you preggers again? See how I managaged to work some slang into my sentences, but they’re still readable?
It is one thing to use abbreviations like ‘NE1′ instead of ‘anyone’ when texting on a phone where you are charged for lengthy texts. But this is a blog, on a computer, and nobody is getting charged by the letter to post here. How can you expect anyone to take you seriously?
It cannot be a coinkydink that almost all of the friends and defenders of the POS on here are incapable of forming a coherent sentence or thought. And, looking at the majority of the POS myspace-ish pages, most of them seem to be as illiterate. I would like to see a study that compared numbers and differences in crimes that people who can read and write do vs people who are language-challenged.
While I think ‘janieve’ could do with a few prudently placed punctuation marks, at least I could understand what she wrote. Anon1, Sarah, and Sheena, not so much.

If your son who is younger than 9 is aware of the meaning of words such as bastard and asshole, and you let him use them, then I suggest that you are more of a ‘tard’ than most of the other users on this site.

You are too funny. If you think a 9 year old does not know the meaning of those words, or ones that most people would consider much worse, then you like having your head in the sand.
Because I don’t want some messed up kid who goes on a shooting rampage in their teens, I make the effort to know what my children and their friends know/say when they think adults are not around. I want my kids to feel safe talking to me, rather than hiding things I might not like.
Whether you like it or not, I’ve taught my children that words only have the value that you give them. Saying ‘darn’ when you’re mad is no different than saying ’shit’- the context is that you used a word to express your anger. By not pretending that those words don’t exist, I’ve been able to show them how to use other words than cuss words to express themselves. Nobody, not even adults, are allowed to use cuss words in my house/presence, if they are being used to call people names, or in the mindless way I see many adults using the eff word, as in ‘I effin went to the store and got an effen candy bar’.
Creating the word ‘bassel’ I thought was very creative on their part. Their father cusses often, and while he doesn’t want them to, he allows them to use their word ‘bassel’. I thought it was clever on their part, but they were disappointed when I pointed out they can’t use it at my house because it’s a form of name-calling.
Dislike me all you want for acknowledging what many parents pretend isn’t going on. I don’t allow my children to call people ‘fat’, but I’m not so stupid that I think they don’t know if someone is obese. I like the fact that my children are not afraid to ask me what words they’ve overheard mean, even though I don’t use those words, and I think it’s funny that even though their dad cusses quite a bit, they are not comfortable asking him.
I’m also one of those annoying parents who prefer that their children use proper names for body parts, and I allow them to use those words. It’s pretty hard to cuss using the words ‘penis’ and ‘vagina’, y’know? I prefer to be like that than to be like my boy’s friend’s parents (lawyers), who allow their boy to use slang cuss words, or another boy (low income, minority) whose parents make him call a penis a ’snake’, and a vagina ‘cookies’.
I have promised my children at least 2 things- that no matter if I am pleased with them or not, not a day will go by that I do not tell them I love them, and for all the things I don’t like about their dad, he has promised them that as well. More harm comes to little boys from not being told by their fathers that they are loved than any cuss words could ever cause. The second thing I’ve promised is that they are able to ask me ANY question and I will answer it as honestly as I can unless it is inappropriate for their age group.
9 year olds already know most cuss words. Media has changed since we were kids and the only TV shows were the news, Disney specials, and MASH. Music back then did not have the words ‘ho’ and ‘pimp’ in them. We played Pong and Pacman, and there was no Mortal Combat. There was no porn pop-ups on our computers. My parents did not have to put adult blocks on their tv and computer.
I overheard my boys and their friends discussing Jamie Spears’ pregnancy (that wasn’t broadcast when I was a kid), and I was quite pleased to hear my oldest telling the other boys that not only was she too young to be a good parent, but that she was too young to have been having sex.
You will be, no doubt, horrified to hear that my oldest asked me what a word he heard at school today meant. And you’ll be disgusted that I told him that the word ‘cunt’ is a pretty old slang word that means ‘vagina’, but is used as a cuss word. That what is bad about using it is not because it refers to the vagina, but that it is used as a name-calling word. You also might not like the fact that I discuss drugs with my children, as well as why I don’t like them. And how it was a contributing factor in my little brother’s suicide. You also might disapprove of my ‘no touching in anger’ policy in my home, which means that nobody is allowed to touch, push, hit, or in any other way touch anyone else in anger, as well as not allowing any yelling other than while having fun.
As I’ve called the police and CPS on a nearby stepdad who enjoyed whacking his stepson while mommy did nothing, they are also very aware of my opinions of parents who hit/verbally abuse, as well as mothers who put their new penis-toy first and don’t protect their children. I’m one of those annoying people who isn’t dating, because I don’t think it would be in my children’s best interests.
I’m sorry you don’t like my parenting style, but you are mistaken if you think I am lax or lenient- I am stricter than a lot of parents. I just prefer to be honest with my kids, and keep an open line of communication, since I think that not being able to talk to your family (as well as not having a father who openly loves you) is behind a lot of teen crime and suicide, neither of which I want to happen to my boys.
It would be pretty silly to think that I would spend time on this blog and other crime boards, and yet be doing anything as a parent that I thought would result in my children’s names being posted here in 10 years as a POS.
I talk with my children. Whatever you want to do with yours is your business. While I may very well come off as pretentius, I don’t imagine for a second that what I try to do will guarantee that my boys will never have problems. But it is my obligation to parent in a way I feel will lessen those odds.
BTW- I purposefully use the word ‘moran’. It is quite commonly used on comment boards as a kind of sarcastic way of describing a ‘moron’… (they are so moronic that they’d spell moron incorrectly)… get the sarcasm? I can’t claim to have invented that usage of moran. I do thank you for the lesson about Irish sur-names, though.

The words you are writing do not sound like the language I am used to hearing in this country, so I mistakenly believe that your language is imprecise and incorrect, and thus foreign. You called me “a little whacked out if you as me.” The typo should read “ask” not “as,” I believe that makes us even somehow, considering that you made one typo and 5 grammatical errors [Translator's License, and polite ribbing at Kim], while just over 30% of the words I type are in some way malformed, incorrect or improperly used. I think that people focusing on my word usage, rather than my ideas makes them patronizing, rude and physically blind to any objects or ideas beyond your noses–that means you two and anyone else who draws attention to it. I think you have nothing better to do with your time and need to invest it in bettering yourself. I came here because of the Michael Gagnon article. Michael Gagnon killed my friend Bethany and 4 of her daughters with his truck and a BAC of .284. In the beginning, I just went all over the internet, gathering information and phone numbers. I started calling people I knew, collecting police reports and anything I could find, and then started blasting away at the friends and relatives of Michael Gagnon who chose to defend him on the internet. I went everywhere. Because PYSIH.com was a word press blog, was well formed with good SEO options, I started using the skills I use at work to raise the page ranking of the site with Google, Yahoo and other search Engines. As a hobby, I started turning what I do for a living into a way to raise awareness about drunk driving. These comments now figure highly in search terms. Don’t believe me? Type “Michael” and “Gagnon” into google.com and look at the first listing.
I’ve been paid tens of thousands of dollars to do things just like this, and it’s the power of words that do it. Accurate words, that make it all work.
But I’m still angry. My Anger with Michael is fading a bit. His family members don’t flock to the banners, but when I look at the people listed on this site, I see murderers and rapists and a host of others who deserve to be made example of. When you see me respond or comment on these posts, I follow it up with a few key entries and links across the internet and then I submit those links to google, yahoo and others. That raises the page ranking on words like murderer, rapist, dui for PYSIH.com and draws attention to the words in these comments.
Surprise, what I’m doing here puts your words and Kim’s words, and in fact all of the words here on a slightly larger stage. School children and many others, doing reports or personal research on rapists and murderers are going to read your words and form opinions on their own usage. this argument will get read by a dozen or more people throughout the course of the day. My hope is that they look at their own words and choose to be a little more precise, so they don’t end up object lessons. My hope is that they come back and write clearly and effectively, contributing to the more reasoned debates on other posts and that this site continues to grow in traffic, so that my personal struggle with Bethany’s death can be productive and in clear view.
To the admin and other posters, I hope you don’t mind. I’ve seen your own efforts to raise site traffic and awareness, and I’ve pitched some money into a few of the cups, but my intention is still use and I hope the use is still considered fair and I really hope my reasoning is agreeable.

I saw Kim. I was translating his words and felt I could get a polite rib in there at you for your actual errors, as opposed to the typo. I made 6 errors in my long-winded post as well(one dollar via PayPal for the first person to find 6 or more in that comment, make a post, and then successfully find one of my many email addresses online and call me on it), despite a bit of proof-reading.

It probably seems hypocritical that I have recently divorced, yet one of my goals is to have fathers be given more respect. I reserve the right to say which fathers, I guess. LOL. I also write on my site as well as other arenas about recycling, resoursing and conserving.
I’ve been published in the Santa Barbara Companion with my article about whales. And in local papers as a restaurant reveiwer, local reporter and astrologist, among many jobs. I”ve been published by the magazine ‘Poetry.
My point isn’t to highlight my acheivements (because, lordy, I’ve had many of the reverse), but to show that it’s worth it to try. I also am an artist, and play music. None of this saves the world. But all of it combined has a possibility of stopping at least one child from being abused.
Jason- I do have to thank you for the spur to update my website. I’ve been a lazy ass, since most of the people wanting episiotomy info have been emailing me separately. So- thanks for the big up my ass.

PETER MCKENZIE-SEATON has KILLED a CHILD!!!!! That makes him a CHILD KILLER yes a CHILD KILLER!!!
A jury of 12 people, innocent, uninvolved people, found Peter Seaton guily of murder in under 5 hours! Now the Seatons have been defending their child killing relative for over 5 months and yet they appear not to have convinced even one person of his innocence! A judge described him as ‘violent’ and said that ‘Sharon and Peter where undoubtable in this together’! He may not have inflicted those fatal injuries(although he more than likely did); even if he didnt he sat back and watched Sharon throw her daughter around by the hair, kicking her, punching her, burning her, beating her, hand cuffing her up, locking her in her bedroom, and evidence showed he bit her! The beatings were so bad that they eventually killed her! and you imbociles acutally believe he never saw or heard any of it! Jesus, you lot need help! Ofcourse he saw it, joined in and more than likely did it! It would be impossible for him not too to have heard or seen it. The jury heard all the facts and they found him guilty so basically morons he is guilty!

You dont see Ian Huntley’s family protesting his innocence-because in reality once someone is convicted of a crime, they are guilty. Non- I think it’s funny how many supporters of criminals on these boards claim (as you said) that the POS was innocent, and that the courts would prove that. And then when the verdict’s in…. it was all a setup, a conspiracy, etc.
