Today, on August 10th of 2007, 22-year-old Sharon Wright and her 21-year-old boyfriend Peter McKenzie-Seaton were found guilty of murdering 4-year-old Leticia Wright.
Detective Superintendent Paul Taylor, the lead investigator for the case said, after the trial, “Leticia was a beautiful, healthy little girl who tragically met a violent and brutal death at the hands of her own mother and Peter Seaton.”
He also said: “The injuries that Leticia sustained were so severe that she must have been in unimaginable pain during the final few days of her life. I believe that Seaton and Wright would have been well aware of the trauma they had inflicted on Leticia, and they chose to continue the abuse until her body could take no more and she died. Sharon Wright and Peter Seaton deserve to spend a long time in prison and I hope they both reflect on what they have done and hang their heads in shame.”
During the four-week-long trial, the jury was told that Leticia died after a long period of sustained, deliberate and brutal abuse, which left her with injuries that are usually found on car crash victims.
There were tons of bruises on the little girl, cigarette burns and bite marks. The back of her head was described in testimony by doctors as “a boggy mass” and showed signs of infection.
Clumps of the girl’s hair were found in a trash can outside the house.
Leticia’s blood was found on her clothes, on a pair of fur-lined handcuffs, and on the walls of the house after her hair had brushed up against them.
There was an extensive catalogue of more than 100 injuries that this little girl suffered during the last four weeks of her life.
Seaton admitted biting Leticia but denied causing the fatal injuries, which will come as a surprise to many of his friends who came to PYSIH.com and wrote that there was no way he could bite a little girl.
Peter Seaton’s defense told the jury that he was never alone with the girl and tried to blame Sharon Wright for everything.
What a guy.
The court heard that at one point Leticia complained to two of her aunts - the sisters of her natural father Zaheer Hussain - that Seaton would come to her room and smack her.
She also told them: “I don’t like Mummy”.

What a pair of freas. She was a lovely child. I have a four-year-old daughter and it makes me physically ill to think about harming her. Four year olds are bright and aware of what it happening to them. She not only suffered immense pain, but also anguish and sadness.

I have been following this case and have noticed that the little girl is mixed heritage. do you think that that is what also motivated these sub humans to commit such a henous act?. In my experience there is alot of racism towards children who are mixed race and i feel that it got in the way of thier relationship.
I cant help but feel for the father and the guilt he must be feeling.
i hope they both get whats coming to them in jail and their families too.

I am close to Peter and I trust and believe him 100% when he has told me that he did not kill leticia. he admitted to me biting her but has promised me that he did not kill her and that is good enough for me! He is guilty probably of allowing sharon to continue to abuse leticia but nothing else!!!! that’s a good point they should all be arrested for not saying something! if he is innocent as you say he his, this is what happens when you hang with the wrong people. unfortunately that’s how cops work, if you’re at the scene and have been there continuously, you’re going down simply because you’re there when they do the arresting. so unfortunately since he was there, he has to deal with the jury, it would be the same if it was some other guy. The jury is not kind when it comes to child abuse cases that end in death. He’ll also have to worry about all the men in the prison that are going to have his ass, literally, because all they’re going to see is that he didn’t help her.

Peter is fine Metiche, i have been to see him and considering things he is doing well!! He can look after his self and anyone that he gets to know in there will know that he didnt do it!!

Natalie changed her statement when she found out i was seeing peter, she had previously gone to court and the judge would not allow her evidence, which was favourable for Peter!!! as soon as she found out about me she started bombarding me and Donna-Pete’s Mum, with abusive text messages and surprise surprise the next day she went to court and said that Peter had been violent to her-LYING BITCH!! Her evidence should never have been allowed because she had changed her statement 7 TIMES anyway!!!! i analyzed the words of those who were defending ‘peter’ and those who weren’t. people who where defending him made approximately 8 to 11 times more mistakes (not including u-you and 4-for/four type things) than those who weren’t defending the murderer. which leads me to believe that the people not defending him are not emotionally involved in the case, and a bit more educated. sorry, just b/c you screw him doesn’t make him less of a murderer. you should read some of the other profiles on here. like the woman who’s husband raped and murdered her daughter (his stepdaughter). The aunts knew that something was up and they did nothing? This little child cried out for help to those who could have helped her and they just disregarded it.
WTF, how high of an IQ do you need to figure out something major is wrong when a 4 year old complains of an adult coming in their room. Most kids love it when the parents come into the room, that means they get to sit down and play dolls, transformers, board games, legos, horsey, Care Bears or a myriad of other games. But when a 4 year old complains about it, you have a problem.
4 year olds don’t understand privacy yet, they seek attention and love, they want interaction constantly with the adults who are raising them. This was a huge sign.
For Peter and Sharon hell is coming at full fury as you rot inside the urine filled cells you shall now call home.
For the aunts who did nothing: Well, I can only hope the prosecutor looks at your statements made in court and takes your lack of action to protect this child as grounds for placing you in the same prison as the 2 POS’s this was written about. You are just as guilty of murdering this little girl by doing nothing.

As far as family members go , I don’t know who is to blame more, the father, Zaheer Hussain or the 2 aunts. I am swinging more to Zaheer. When Sharon became pregnant at 17 by Zaheer, she was going to get an abortion, but Zaheer convinced her into keeping the baby. While they lived together Leticia went to the hospital 8 times :
“The court heard Ms Wright had taken her daughter to the accident and emergency department at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield on eight occasions in four years. Five of those occasions concerned a dislocated elbow, one a cut to the back of the head, and one a bruise to the forehead. ”
Its not like Zaheer wasn’t aware Sharon was ” Heavy handed ” with Leticia.
Besides the things the 2 aunts said in court it was also reported :
“On another occasion she became hysterical with her father, Zaheer Hussain, because she did not want to leave him to go back to Wright.”
On top of that Sharon said :
“Ms Wright told the court Mr McKenzie-Seaton was a regular user of skunk, a potent form of cannabis, which she got for him from Leticia’s natural father, Zaheer Hussain. ”
Maybe its true , maybe its not. If Zaheer wanted Sharon to keep the child, then he should have done a hell of allot better job looking out for her.
Its pretty obvious that the POS , dirtbag , sorry excuse for a life Sharon Wright never wanted to be a mother or raise a child and all Leticia was to her was a free ride on the dole.
