Gang Rape In Dunbar Village In West Palm Beach, Florida

On the 18th of June in 2007, at 9 in the evening, a 35-year-old woman came home to her apartment in the Dunbar Village housing project in West Palm Beach, Florida. She had just finished up a long day of delivering telephone books and she was tired.

She had immigrated to the United States in 2000 from Haiti with her then five-year-old son, hoping for a better life.

Before she went upstairs to bed, she and her son had started to make something downstairs in the kitchen for dinner when there was a knock at the door.

A young black male was at the door, his hair in braids. The teenager told her that her truck had a few flat tires and that she should come and look at them.

Following the apparent “good samaritan” outside, she hadn’t taken more than a few steps when three teenagers – all wearing masks and all carrying guns – pointed the weapons at her and told her to get back into her apartment.

They hit her, knocking her to the floor. They pushed her son down to the floor as well.

They demanded money, which she didn’t have.

Incensed at the lack of easy money in the apartment, the four boys beat the woman and her son, stripped the woman of her clothing, took her to the bedroom and raped her over and over, with each boy taking his turn.

Her son was held at gunpoint, forced to watch.

As they raped and sodomized her, she cried out in pain and fear.

Nobody came to help, not then, not when she heard her son cry out when they stripped him naked as well, sporadically breaking lightbulbs and plates on his head.

Up to five other teenagers did arrive, but they had come to join in on the raping and cruelty.

These other teenagers also raped and sodomized the woman, recording it all for posterity on a cell phone.

Eventually, after everyone had their turn with the woman in her upstairs bedroom, they brought her son upstairs at gunpoint. Holding a gun to the 12-year-old’s head, the gang forced his mother to perform oral sex on him.

It is unclear as to whether or not mother and son were forced to have sex with each other.

When everyone had finished abusing the woman sexually, they forced her into the bathtub, which they filled with vinegar and water. They poured common household cleaning products over her, such as hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover and ammonia-based cleaning solution.

Some ammonia was also thrown into her son’s eyes.

They forced a bar of soap into her vagina, hoping to remove physical evidence.

While they were doing this, the gang also threw ammonia into her son’s eyes.

After the group was convinced that they had disposed of the evidence, someone suggested setting the mother and her son on fire. After searching for – but not finding – a lighter, the group left, warning the pair that if they got out of the tub, they’d be killed.

30 minutes later, while the mother and her son were still in the tub, crying in pain, one of the teenagers returned to sexually assault the woman one more time. He wrote a man’s name and 6-CO – a different man and a different gang than the one that had gang-raped this family – on a piece of paper, telling her that he could be found on Sixth street.

As he left, he took the Playstation 2 with him.

The woman and her son stayed in the apartment for two hours after the attack. Nobody came to investigate the screams, nobody called the police for help.

Because their assailants had stolen their cell phone, their home phone and their fax machine, they were unable to call for assistance themselves.

It was a long walk to the Good Samaritan Medical Center, but they walked the mile together, two hours after the attack ended.

They were badly injured. The 12-year-old had to be immobilized for more than two days on his hospital bed, with bandages covering both eyes and a two-inch gash on the top of his skull.

There was a mild public outcry.

Dunbar Village Rapists14-year-old Avion Lawson was the first to be arrested. He confessed after investigators let him know that his DNA had been found in a condom recovered at the apartment. While being driven to the Juvenile Assessment Center, Avion called some friends and laughingly told them what was going on. Avion Lawson has been charged with armed sexual battery by multiple perpetrators, armed home invasion, aggravated battery and sexual assault.

The next idiot to be picked up was 16-year-old Nathan Walker. Nathan Walker is a seventh-grade dropout, who called it quits after failing three times. His fingerprint was found at the apartment and his DNA was found on the outside of the condom Avion Lawson had used. When Nathan Walker was brought into the police station, he flipped out, throwing chairs at the walls until guards were able to put him in handcuffs and leg restraints.

On July 15th, Jakaris Taylor, a 15-year-old whose younger brother played with the 12-year-old he assaulted, was arrested. During interrogation, he was asked why he didn’t stop his friends, to which he replied, “I don’t know.” When he was asked why he did it, he shrugged his shoulders.

The latest rapist to be charged is 18-year-old Tommy Lee Poindexter, who was, on August 16th, indicted by a grand jury that saw “unspecified physical evidence” and charged him with sexual battery, kidnapping and burglary. – 14 counts in all.

Although Mr. Poindexter denied being involved and his mother, 44-year-old Harriet Rodgers, has claimed her precious Tommy was at home with her that night, the evidence prosecutors presented was considered “fairly damning.”

Prosecutors are chomping at the bit, pledging to ask for the maximum penalty for all the teens involved and refusing to entertain the idea of plea bargains for anyone.

Despite the youth of the individuals involved, they all face the possibility of life in an adult prison.

No juvenile hall for these dogs.

West Palm Beach police spokesman Peter Robbins told the press, “We’re certainly developing more suspects and anticipate more arrests.”

Too bad the death penalty is off the table in this particular instance. Life in prison seems too good.

jesus, one person would be bad enough but i did not think there was anywhere on this planet that you would find a group of ppl willing to do this and not one of them trying to stop it!!! discusting! they all deserve to die in jail, they should be made to sit in a bath of acid and die a horrible death! sickos.

      • Steph-Ann says:

This is definitely one situation where I’m pleased these F’ers will be tried as adults, and sent to Big Boy Prison, where I hope and pray the same thing….rape after rape after rape, happens to each of these little demented pukes. They’ll understand sodomy all to soon…see how they like it! If I was the parent to any one of these bastards, I wouldn’t admit as much. Great job on the parenting, ya losers! Sorry, I’m just…UGH!….so disgusted!

        • Pam17 says:

all i could do was feel sympathy for this child and his mother they’re traumatized scarred for life. I blame parents nobody got a good ass whoopin when they needed one and im pretty sure the dumb a** 7th grade flunkie didn’t come up with this deranged idea. Kids shouldn’t be able to think about doing this…let alone doing it with no remorse!!! DAMN FREAKS

    2. Tay says:

Oh my GOD. What is wrong with people? What inspires them to want to do this kind of thing to other people? It’s just sick.

    3. ptg says:

The entire neighborhood needs to be cleaned and burned.

    4. Sam says:

Words fail me. MIld public outcry?? People should be up in arms that this is what fourteen year olds are capable of! And like someone has already said – it wasn’t just one sick individual but a gang. Here’s hoping that they are tried as adults and that they are given life sentences – just like they’re victims now have. Unbelievable.

      • Mulch says:

They are black. If publick outcry would be loud then there would be riots. “Oh those poor poor boys had such a hard life. Mommy couldn’t afford to buy them the shoes they wanted so they lashed out….”

Take them out back, skin them, toss some salt water in their bare asses then let then rot.

        • Steph-Ann says:

Your first sentence was just ignorant. Do NOT lump all black people into one category…you obviously have issues with them…should I assume you’re a skinhead? In the KKK? A banjo pickin’, foot stompin’, cousin fuckin’ inbred hillbilly? Or just a coward with a big mouth who talked to much crap in highschool and then got a good, well deserved butt whipping from a black guy? Hate comes from fear, period. And I’m sure YOU wouldn’t appreciate it if I insisted you were something, or behaved in certain ways that you know you do not. I have two bi-racial, smart and sensitve young boys and I just thank God that people with your level of racism are a dying breed…so why don’t you all ready….die.

          • Steph-Ann says:

…and by the way, my comment was in defense of black people in general….NOT in defense of those little puke bags, who need to be strung up by thier nuts and left to rot. (Shew! PMS is a bitch!) ;)

            • bo says:

im so fuckin glad to hear u say that, while wetbacks and some blacks hide behind there skin color, shitstains like these punks and the ones who KILLED BABY BRIANNA.THEY CRIED LIKE BITCHES TO BE MOVED.these punks need the BIGGEST COCKS IN PRISON TO FUCK EM IN THE ASS WHILE THEY GAG IN THE TOILET ON PISS AND SHIT.

            • justjaney says:

Hey Bo….remind me never to piss you of ok…lol

            • Steph-Ann says:

              LMAO with Janey…..

    5. Frankie says:

The police should wade it to that complex and wipe the scum out. I live in Ireland and and bad areas are cleaned up with police and if there afraid to go there vigilantes. No messing blow them out of it.

    6. Jayni says:

Sounds like a bunch of idiots to me. Good thing they got caught though. The poor mother and child… =0(

    7. will says:

nathan walker ha we support him and his family we work and pay for this genius to eat wow harriet rodgers parent of the yr also a welfare product welfare animals we pay for this trash to survive only in america they would starve 2 death in africa

      • Cat says:

Will (comment #7): you’re a moron. first, learn how to write a complete sentence. then, learn how to be a human being. i suggest an emphasis on being just a little less bigoted.

    8. Di says:

does anybody know if there’s been a verdict for this losers already? admin, do you perhaps know about that? i hope they get the hardest sentence possible. what a couple of animals… scarry that they can life in this world.

    9. JA says:

These things that are worse than some humans labelled as animals are just plain sick. Whatever they get is too good for what they did to the Mother and Child.

Let’s just hope they are treated as well in prison as they treated their victims.

    10. Discusted says:

I would have begged them to kill me before I performed any such act on my child..Those sick cowardly dogs…I have two sons and two daughters….SCARY

      • Syyd says:

The gun was to the childs head, not the mothers. And if she had begged them to kill her and they obliged, she would’ve left her son ALONE to face these animals. She did what she had to to survive and protect her child as much as she could.

    11. permanently SCARRED says:

OMG!!! I honestly thought this can’t be true! Then googled it and unfortunately saw it was! THOSE POOR PEOPLE! WTF! You mean to tell me NO ONE HEARD A THING! WHat’s WORSE is Ya know they did and did NOTHING ABOUT IT! WHAT A FUCKING ASS HOLE TO THEN Take off with the kids play station! I AM APPALLED!!!

    12. Super Paper Mario says:

The problem is that there are alot of areas in America that are so similar to Dunbar Village Projects and most of the people living in all most every Project building are afraid to report any crime because they know that them or one of there love ones will get hurt…I knew several young kids that were actually being forced to sell drugs for a kingpin in one of the worst projects in our city and the police couldn’t do a thing because everyone was afraid. This isn’t a movie where a good cop comes along and shoot up the bad guys and everyone lives happily ever after because in real life usually someone innocent always get hurt….

    13. Stephen R says:

Man. Why always the innocent people? That’s so messed up. I agree with some people, clean it up and burn it to the ground. I hope they all die a horrible death. I hope they get there arms burnt off and the rest of their bodies eaten by rabid chickens.

    14. [...] Surprisingly, not everyone wants the death penalty on the table as a possible punishment for certain, heinous crimes. [...]

    15. Lisa says:

This poor mom and little boy.How could they walk a mile to the hospital with no one stopping to help?Although look at how this started: she took a chance to have contact with a stranger who came to her door.I guess people are afraid.I wish these two lost souls could be placed into the witness protection program and given a fresh start. That is tax money well spent. The lesson is keep your teens at home because once the “mob mentality” takes over they will all jump in. It has happened with white fraternity boys just the same.Find me one man who is not ruled by his disgusting sexual urges at some point or another. SAD

    16. Mazzi says:

WARNING! DO NOT MAKE THIS INTO A RACIAL ARGUMENT!!

I was watching 60 minutes last night, and they had a story about the Congo and the women who are being raped, murdered and tortured.

It was terrifying. They said that in many villages as many as 90% of the women had been gang raped. And, it was violent, horrifying, twisted stuff.

Like forcing family members to watch and PARTICIPATE in the rapes. Killing family members during the rapes. Using bottles and even bayonets to rape the women. Kidnapping the women, leaving their children behind – never to be seen again.
      Sick stuff.

And, yet,m here in the US, we are seeing some of the same behaviors. The gang mentality, the roving packs of killer/rapists the dominance actions.

      WHY?

Someone, please answer that. WHY? (And not maritak – we know why you think so, and don’t care. thanks).

      http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/01/11/60minutes/main3701249.shtml

    17. Max The Cat says:

You’re right Maz, this has absolutely nothing to do with race. I read the entire article, it’s so obvious that it’s about power and dominance and, most of all, that four letter word, politics. A group comes into the village and announces that it’s in charge now, and proves it by raping women and forcing the rest of the villagers to watch, as if to say: “See what we can do, right in your face, and there’s nothing you can do about it. Nothing. And the guys that used to be in charge, they can’t do anything either, and neither can your government. So do what we say.” You see how that works Maz.
It would be the same thing here. If a gang claims a street & says “This is OUR street now”. Then kicks in your door and gang rapes your friend in front of you and everyone else in the house. Then the brag about it, and threaten to do the same and worse to anybody who talks to the cops. So no one says anything and they rule the street. Not the city, not the police, THEY DO.

      • Mazzi says:

You put it extremely succinctly Max.

I guess the question is not so much “why” as “wtf can we DO about it”?

I was stunned while watching last night – there was a british woman (white) interviewed, and she is there trying to help the poor victims. And I thought to myself, what a RISK she is taking. Being not only a woman, but a white woman, and thus a very visable woman, even if she had armed guards surrounding her 24/7, it seems that she is quite vulnerable.

We can’t all do that. And, frankly – as much as my heart aches for the Conganese (not sure if that is correct or not) women, I am far more concerned with stopping this HERE in the US.

I am afraid that it will only get worse, and we are setting ourselves up for some really bad stuff.

We can’t catch half of the crooks, the few we catch, we can’t prosecute, and we don’t punish the ones we do prosecute harshly enough. And we STILL have 2.5 million inmates.

The scales of justice are stacked against the law-abiding citizens, and no one seems to be trying to solve the problem.

    18. maritaK says:

SWEET JESUS! i hit the jackpot cos i got me four darkies to hang you wantto be bad ass thn i got ape food you can eat each other like savage ape i got rope and fixin to find a tree fer you!! no good darkies!

    19. Amy says:

This is absolutely disgusting. What the hell goes thru their minds? Is this supposed to be FUN?
As for maritaK…WHITE PEOPLE RAPE AND MURDER TOO!
Your racism just makes you sound like the fool you are.
My mum always gave me the advice that its better to keep quiet and risk looking like a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. You sir are a fool and there is no doubt about that.

    20. diana says:

Stories like this kill me. What will have to happen for us to be able to use the death penalty on these pieces of shit?!

      • Mazzi says:

-Removal of the stupid ass liberal judges.

-The public getting MAD and making it a hot issue.

-Some good strong leaders who will push this against the vocal minority.

-A little cooperation from the media.

That is a start… but none of it’s gonna happen.

My hubby and I joke that when Obama gets his reality check, we are going to plant about 20 of his signs in our front lawn, and make sure all the weapons are loaded in case that doesn’t work. We are expecting riots, and even though we live in a nice quiet secure neighborhood, we are still just a few miles from the city. I have rarely ever hoped so much to be wrong, but I am not taking any chances.

        • thomas lipsky says:

To Mazzi—-you call this woman judge liberal??? She sentenced three of them to life without parole and the other to 30 years—how is that liberal?

      • Amy says:

Unfortunately we dont have the death penalty AT ALL here in Australia and the sentences are usually pretty piss weak too.
Here, you rape someone and get say, 8 years, you can be out in three if your a good little prisoner.

    21. eternal says:

i’m glad you said to not make it a racial issue, mazzi. i am a black female (married, 2 kids, f/t job, college sudent- NO WELFARE) and i and every other black person i know are shocked, appalled and ashamed these scumbags are black. not all of us are statistics, not all of us commit heinous crimes, and not all of us live by “no snitching” and would ignore a neighbor’s cries for help.

every pos that participated (and mama rodgers- it’s easy to see why her baby went wrong) need to be publicly executed then burn in hell. i’m sure there’s a special seat right next to satan for all of them!

      • Amy says:

Rape is never about sex, its about power.
It touches every race and gender.
But this was beyond rape. This was pack animal behaviour. This was a horrendous crime and although hell is supposed the be the worst punishment available, i dont think its enough. How could ANY punishment EVER be enough?

    22. Amanda says:

      what. the. fuuuuuuck.

    23. Lena says:

O…my…god! I am just sitting here in shock. How could they?..I can’t believe one of them was calling the others laughing about it after he got picked up! Animals like this NEVER CHANGE! They need the death penalty. I dont care how they grew up..none of that matters! There is no excuse! That poor woman and her son. Proper justice would be to let them exact a punishment of their choice on these bastards!

      • diana says:

It’s been a while since I read this story. I tried to find out if they had been sntenced, and all I could turn up is that Taylor had reached a plea that would give him 20 years. I did find some stuff about AL SHARPTON in regards to this case, though. He didn’t think that it was fair that they were not granted bail. We were just talking about that douchebag.

    24. Lena says:

Damn..i kinda liked Al Sharpton:’( just because of the Sean Bell case, but I just lost all respect for him if he was defending rapists!

    25. Lena says:

Aw..well I am kinda naive (and youngI didn’t really follow current events till my junior year in high school five years ago). I really didn’t pay him that much attention till the Sean Bell case. Then when I started looking into him some more I came upon the whole Tawana Brawley fiasco I was highly dissapointed that he had anything to do with that. So I am starting to lose the little respect I had for him.

    26. eternal says:

i haven’t like al sharpton in… well, maybe forever. but this really cemented it for me. it’s not fair that the attacker weren’t given bail? yeah, well neither is sexually and physically assaulting an innocent mother and child!!!

      this is pure fuckery.

      • diana says:

I believe the reason he was so upset about this case is basically because “Someone else somewhere else got bail for their rape case, so these guys deserve bail too.”

Myself, I would be attacking the OTHER judge for giving the OTHER rapists any bail. Where are the priorities?!

        • eternal says:

if i recall correctly, the other case was an aquaintace rape that may or may not have been consensual (correct me if i’m wrong, you guys) and al sharpton’s argument was that that case with the white people had bail, and the case with the blacks didn’t. everything is racial with this guy. and in no way do the two cases even compare to one another. there’s no way in hell the savages that committed this atrocity deserve bail. and that’s coming from a black woman.

          • diana says:

That’s what nerves me about Sharpton. It’s not about the facts, it’s about black and white. There is more than one type of racism, and he repulses me. I saw a cartoon once where Sharpton prayed for a world without racism. Then he disappeared. haha. The kids that committed this crime deserve every ounce of punishment available.

    27. Lavonna says:

I could not finish this after I read where they made her do oral sex on her own son.
I don’t care if they are black, green, pink or white. Those mother F’ers need to have their thingys cut off shoved up their azzes and then shove it in their mouths and after that put a fricking bullet hole between their eyes. Every fricking one of them should die!

    28. Lewbell says:

I just don’t know what I would do in this situation other than pray. That poor child. He will always have those thoughts in his head of his mother being savagely raped. We had a case of a woman in my town that ws stabbed several times outside of her apartment at 6:00 in the evening and no one saw anything. She lived in row housing and no one heard her screaming even though her boyfriend was following her around her apartment and repeatedly stabbing her. He stabbed her like 50 times and you tell me that no one saw or heard anything. He left her little baby in the apartment with her for about a day a half. Tell me no one heard that baby crying because it was hungry. People need to stop being concerned with inconvenincing themselves and do something.

    29. spencer wright says:

If you do these things, no matter your age, and your DNA links you to the crime, you should die. Not in twenty years, but NOW. It is time that humans learn from the animals and begin to cull the herd of these sick, depraved fucks. They probably wouldn’t like it too much if their mother was gang raped. They show no mercy, they get none. End of story.

      • Maelstrom says:

Spencer, absolutely 100% dead on !!!

DNA match, some routine beatings and whatever else whomever in charge can dream up in order to inflict the maximum amount of pain upon these utter pieces of shit, and then two bullets to the back of the head.

You can’t “fix” animals like this. So quit tap dancing and smoke them. The end.

    30. Jason says:

Looks like one of them is finally going to plead guilty.
      http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking-news/story/1182921.html

    31. Kelly O says:

This case has haunted me. I’m happy there’s been a conviction. I’d like to see them receive an old fashioned punishment: death by a thousand cuts, or non-surgical castration, eyes and tongue removed and crucified along with their pals wearing the “Free Avion” tee-shirts – that should put a damper on the neighborhood’s crime for a while. Mercy is a fast death. But we’re modern, so save the taxpayer’s money and quickly exterminate this entire group. Ugh!

    32. Hershel says:

You sound almost as sick as the perps here

    33. Jonathan Hilliard says:

It’s pretty messed up what happened, but they were given the worse setenced becaused they were black. In the same state, actually yesterday, 5 white teen set this white 15 year old on fire which burned 65% of his body and they were only charged with aggravated battery. They they bragged about it. Sounds like attempt murder to me. Why were they give a lesser sentence. You know why? because they were some all american white boys. This country really sucks.

      • VCBecky says:

Jonathan Hillard, I can’t tell you how tired I am of people hating on me because of the color of my skin. I’m so white, I’m nearly transparent. I’ve had many people of all colors look down at me because I am white. Because they assume my ancestors were slave owners. Because they feel I’m somehow culpable for the sins of those imagined slave-owning ancestors. I have never looked down at anyone because of their color. I am many things, but I am not that.

Know what, Mr. Hillard? My ancestors were slaves in Egypt. How far back do we go with this bullshit? They weren’t in this country when slavery was prevalent. It shouldn’t matter if they were – I wasn’t!

THIS WAS HUMAN ON HUMAN CRIME. That’s SO much worse than black on white/white on black crime. If you must decry something, at least make it relevant to the story.

      • Jason says:

Bent and four other teens — 15-year-old Denver Jarvis, Steven Shelton and Jesus Mendez and 13-year-old Jeremy Jarvis — were charged with aggravated battery in the attack. Mendez also was charged with attempted second-degree murder because authorities say he flicked the lighter.

Actually Jonathan, Mendez, the ring leader in this matter has been charged with murder. Are you ready to recant your racial slurs against the entire judicial system and the State of Florida because your only example of racial prejudice under the law has been easily foiled?

        Perhaps you were merely unaware?

I admit to weaknesses in the system, but think these monsters were correctly charged and will get their own comeuppance, just as the Dunbar crew will suffer somewhat adequately for their crimes.

To the burning severity specifically, are you familiar with the danger of chemical burns? I just wanted to know what you’d have thought if muriatic acid had been used on their eyes and genitals.

      • Max The Cat says:

You’re an idiot Jonathan, You’re no better than the Aryans and kluckers I go to war with on a regular basis, as often as they show there tiny little pea brains on this website. Are you actually going to compare an extended period of rape, torture, and an obvious attempt to dispose of the victims with what those 5 fools just did? It’s all about intent, and what the prosecution can prove. That’s what determined the charges in these cases, not race. And if you would stop carrying that chip on your shoulder around long enough to think rationally, you’d see it too.

Now go ahead and call me a fucking racist – I dare you.

      • Steph-Ann says:

I would sooooo not consider THEM ‘all American white boys’…. Dear God! You do? This country sucks, huh? Well, don’t let the door hit ya’ where the good Lord spilt ya’!

    34. Z.Ward says:

Jonathon- these kids black or not raped 2 people…did you even read the story? It is unfair that the white kids were not charged with attempted murder, but the kids in this case got exactly what they deserved. If these kids did that to my mother they wouldnt have to worry about answering to a judge.

      • Jonathan says:

Honestly Z.Ward, burning someone is alive is just as bad. What if that was your son or brother in that situation. I agree, if they did this to my mother, they wouldn’t have to answer to a judge. All I’m saying is that theres a big difference in how blacks get treated in our bogus judicial system. Dont think they deserve life in prison, they’re still teenagers. I dont think the white boys deserve life either. However, the scale should be equal which it isnt.

        • VCBecky says:

Then don’t rant about this case, Jonathan. Rant about that one. In this case, justice might still be served. The other should be made to match.

I agree, burning someone alive is horrible. I think they all deserve life in the system, or death. What they did should cost them their human rights, regardless of their color.

          • Jonathan says:

Be serious Vicky. Wake your ass up! lol Them white boys is not going to get anything more than a slap on the wrist. This judicial system is made by white people for white people. First of, I will rant about whatever case I choose rant about. People like you are so quick to judge, when your life might be all fucked up and crumbling right in front of you. How about you fixing your problems before judging the next. Try this out…Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

            • VCBecky says:

Jonathan, none of your post makes any sense. None if it is relevant to the original story or my responses to you. You are ignorant, and you need to fix that before it destroys you. “Them white boys is not going to get any more than a slap on the wrist” are you serious? Have some pride, Jonathan. Stop being a deliberate idiot.

            • Steph-Ann says:

Jonathen, 50 years ago…hell! Even 20 years ago, I would have agreed with you on that whole….made by white people, for white people, comment (not to be confused with FUBU)…but today…not so much. I don’t think our ‘black’ president would appreciate that kind of shady operation, and he does have the power to shut the whole thing down! lol…. Obama’s very elction says a lot…not to mention 60 % of his voters were ‘white’ people, myself one of them and proudly so. And you’re right, only God can judge…but that’s not what people here are doing. There’s nothing TO judge, nothing to decide…they’ve all admitted to the atrocity. Does their actions compromise their worth as human beings? Well, of course it does, but that’s just common sense…that’s not being judgemental.

          • Steph-Ann says:

Exactly VCBecky!… Why do people who do inhuman things feel they are still entitled to ‘human’ rights?

        • Steph-Ann says:

Are you kidding?! They ALL deserve life! Both groups…better yet, put them all in a room together and they can rape, beat and set fire to each other. Fuck em! The worst part is like, what? 5 or 6 of those boys involved in the rape will never even be brought to justice… but Karma’s a bitch.

      • Jason says:

The single White kid who threw the rubbing alcohol and appears to have also lit the boy on fire has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, which will become murder 2, if the boy dies as is highly suspected, due to the significant injuries. That said, the others are all being charged with Battery, because they were minimally involved. The above are being convicted because they all participated in 1st degree rape and gang rape and sodomy. I think all of the things involved are monsters and deserve significant jail time, but the case Jonathan has cited does not in fact appear to be racially motivated or racially charged in its prosecution.

    35. Jonathan says:

      VCBecky,
It’s crazy because I was thinking the same thing about you (Pure Ignorance). It’s all relevant. The reason why it doesn’t make sense to you because you’re not black, and I wouldnt expect you to understand my side. I’ll just let you manifest in your own pool of ignorance because obviously you’re drowning in it, if you think our judicial system isn’t equal.

      • VCBecky says:

        You, Jonathan, are a racist.

      • Steph-Ann says:

You’re right, Jonathan…our judicial system ISN’T equal, but it has more to do with rich versus poor, than black versus white, at least nowadays. (In my opinion) If those boys had the millions to back them, and hire a Dream Team…they probably would have received lighter sentences, if not let off the hook all together, because we ALL know… “If it dosen’t fit, you must acquit”….talk about an injustice!

        • Steph-Ann says:

And don’t think for one second I don’t understand prejudice. Most racist hate me worse than they would you, I chose to date black men. I chose to have children by one. That makes me worse in thier eyes. You chose nothing. You can’t help what race you’re born. And maybe the injustice of that prejudice WAS something I could have shook, simply by no longer dating men of color…no one would be the wiser, right? Well, that theory gets shot to hell when you have children who, thought bi-racial, are considered simply black. Like I would ever deny them just so that I might have it easier! You think I don’t get watched when I go into a store? Do you think they don’t keep an extra eye on my children, especially around the candy rack? Don’t assume just becasue someone isn’t ‘black’ that they don’t understand. My point is this…the word prejudice means to pre-judge. To assume someone is a certai way by how they look, or talk. That happens to everyone, not just blacks. And it can negatively affect anyone life, not just blacks…

    36. Jonathan says:

** correction. “If you think are judicial system is equal.”

      • Jason says:

The equality or inequality of our legal systems has nothing to do with the fact that these boys raped a woman and abused her son.

This case isn’t a race issue. This is a human issue. Things that do this sort of thing to another human being, aren’t human and should be killed–executed to be specific.

It doesn’t matter if their victim is white or black, or the victimizer is white, black, asian or albino. They should be dead.

I actually concede that it is difficult for black people and/or poor people to get a perfectly fair shake under our legal system, but I believe it to be one of the best in the world because it has been so easy to fix over time. Jonathan, set aside and racial connection you feel you have for these monsters and instead grab at the connection you have with two other human beings. When you cite the Bible, remember that the Good Samaritan didn’t pour oil and wine on the wounds the Robbers got on their knuckles after beating the man on the side of the road, instead as a good neighbor, he helped up the man who’d been robbed and beaten and tended to his difficulties. Additionally, Christ saved only one of the two thieves he was crucified with, these two boys here have definitely chosen to reject Christ’s impassioned pleas on the matter. As you continue in your journey’s of Biblical inspiration, please continue to the rest of the chapter, concerning judging. When you’re done and you’ve gotten my point, then consider reading the original Latin and learning the root of the words. Choose to raise the downtrodden, and you’ll do much better.

    37. Jonathan says:

At the end day. It’s the people who make the laws and same people who enforce them, so it is tied to race.

      • Jason says:

Poverty has more to do with civil and criminal injustice than race. Kobe Bryant bought his way out of a rape conviction, OJ bought his way out of a murder conviction, Ted Kennedy bought his way out of a DUI Manslaughter, George Bush bought his way out of DUI’s and a dereliction of duty. Money helped more than race in nearly every case. Race is a tool to blind side and hide the fundamental problems in the system. Money protects cocaine sales while it punished crack cocaine. It’s not a race issue, it’s a purity and a client issue. Marijuana is arguably a racial issue, except when you consider that the same paradigm falls on celebrities like Cheech Marin, Woody Harrelson, and a certain Red Headed Stranger (Willie Nelson).

      • Jason says:

Incidentally, since you seem to be reading and responding out-of-line, and may have missed it, the “white kid” who burned the “black-kid” was charged with attempted second-degree murder.

      • VCBecky says:

Point out where I once said our judicial system is equal, Jonathan. Don’t assume it, don’t infer it, point it out. Quote me. Do it.

You’re assuming that I’m a racist because I’m white. If you do that, you are guilty of the very thing you accuse me of. I have no patience with hypocrisy.

      • bo says:

i dont play word games, hideing behind race or money is cowardly as hell shit,im 46 yrs old.and ive seen it done time and time again. and i just FUCKIN HATE IT.

      • Steph-Ann says:

Damn, John…you act like there aren’t any black cops, black judges (Gooo Team Mathis!), black politicians… black PRISEDENTS (Ok, there’s just been the one so far, but that will change!) There’s a lot of positive, influential black leaders that are changing the way things are done. It’s getting better, not worse…We should rejoice and be glad in it… Stop your bitching, unless you’re like 80…then you got more so of a right. You did infact experience so bad stuff just for being black, if that’s the case… but if you’re like, 20…. ahhh, I doubt it’s been THAT hard on you, living in the old U S of A!

        • Steph-Ann says:

          ……. * prEsIdents……my bad.

          • justjaney says:

I like your style Steph-Ann……Kudos all the way from oz :)

            • Steph-Ann says:

Thank you, Janey…this is quite the interesting site ya’ll have here. I’m new obviously =) but I’m here to stay, and soooo look forward to bashing… (verbally will have to do, but OH! I’d love to get my hands around every one of their necks!)… all of the devil’s minion’s that show up on the site.

            • VCBecky says:

Hi Steph-Ann! Welcome to the board! Pull up a paddle and take a whack! ;)

            • Steph-Ann says:

lol….will do! But instead of a paddle, can I use a baseball bat, like with nails sticking out of it, or something? hehe…. Thanks for the welcome. Ya’ll rock, and that Max The Cat guy….too funny! I laughed so hard, reading his replies to some hate mail, I think I peed a little! :p

            • justjaney says:

That’s ok Steph-Ann, done that myself once or twice..lol…as for the bat with nails?? Bring it, as I like my nailgun, and I can borrow some…lol :)

    38. USS Yorktown says:

This is sick! These scumbags deserve Hell. I read that the victim is a Haitian immigrant trying to make her life better for her family. Than some rotten scumbags had to ruin it for her.

      • BOOKIE WALKER says:

I STILL DONT THINK THEY SHOULD GET LIFE AND I WASNT THERE AND ONLY GOD KNOWS WHAT HAPPEN SO DONT JUDGE NOBODY YALL DONT KNOW AND YOU DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPEN

        • Jason says:

Uh, both of the victims survived, and they know exactly what happened. You don’t have to go to heaven to find this out. You simply have to side with the victims against the monsters who did this to them.

Please finish the chapters of the bible regarding judging. You missed huge and important portions of that book.

        • E says:

“Don’t judge nobody yall don’t know” I assume you live your life according to this rule? I assume, if you heard about a white gang committing atrocities on a black victim, for example, you’d refrain from judging said white perps because “yall don’t know”?

We judge these shitstains because they’re shitstains, not because they’re black. Shit comes in all colors. Wake up.
