Shaun Earl Arender

A neighbor of Hanna Mack’s family has been charged with the first-grader’s murder.

Shaun Earl Arender, a 19-year-old unemployed construction worker, has been arrested and is being held on a 2.5 million dollar bond in the local jail.

Shaun Earl Arender’s DNA has been matched with biological samples collected from the shirt that 6-year-old Hanna Mack was wearing at the crime scene where her body was found hanging in her family’s garage on the 10th of September.

Shaun Arender’s DNA was also matched with blood that authorities found on a kitchen knife found inside the girl’s house.

While Kevin Wayne Anders, Hanna Mack’s mom’s live-in boyfriend, was originally the prime suspect, he was only arrested and charged with the possession of child pornography. He currently remains in jail on that charge.

It seems that Shaun Earl Arender, who was in jail since his arrest on the 12th of September for burglary and marijuana possession, will be the one on trial for Hanna Mack’s murder.

When he was questioned on Wednesday, the 26th of September about how his DNA was found on the scene, Shaun Arender refused to talk, choosing instead to put his head down on the table in front of him and cry.

Shaun Arender cut himself with a piece of glass two days before the DNA match was made and was taken to the hospital.

When asked why he did it, Mr. Arender said he cut himself because he was depressed.

Shaun Arender’s family has apologized for his behavior.

Lowetta Conkle, Arender’s Aunt, stated:

I apologize for him, I want to kill him, but I apologize for him.

Lazaro Galindo

They say that anyone who defends himself has a fool for a client. Lazaro Galindo was no exception. Some gems from his trial include:

“What 19-year-old doesn’t have some type of skulls?”

“Let’s say the Church of Satan, some people don’t think it exists, it actually exists, it actually has members, but we don’t worship Satan, pray to Satan, sacrifice kids to Satan.”

”I feel that I am God and I am going to reestablish the whole Catholic religion and the whole Satanic religion as one religion.”

“I’ve converted to God, I found God”

“How many of you have ever been forced to do something, or manipulated by a higher authority than you?”

“At no time in this case will you hear that I said I kill for Satan.”

“The actual killer is still loose on the street.”

So now that we’ve determined what kind of attorney 20-year-old Lazaro Galindo is, what did he actually do?

Apparently, his girlfriend, Yosalyn Gonzalez, had an admirer, 42-year-old Argelio Gonzalez.

Argelio Gonzalez was a virtual Don Juan, driving by her trailer park home in his gray Cadillac, playing loud, romantic music as he cruised by at 2 miles per hour. Sometimes he would shout out how he loved Yosalyn. Argelio would even leave fruit on her trailer doorstep for her kids.

And really, what woman could resist such charms?

Lazaro Galindo felt he was being disrespected. After all, how can a satanist who keeps knives and axes in a cauldron, sacrifices animals and tells people their future compete with the gray Cadillac-driving 42-year-old guy with fruit?

Enough was enough, so when Lazaro Galindo saw Argelio driving his gray Cadillac through the trailer park during June of 2000, the 19-year-old went out and confronted his rival, asking Argelio to never come around his house any more.

Mr. Smooth, Argelio Gonzalez responded with a quick and witty, “Why should I leave if the street’s not yours?”

This made Lazaro Galindo cry. Seriously. He cried.

Then Lazaro Galindo pulled a switchblade out of his pocket and stabbed Gonzalez in the face, chest and back with the eight-inch blade.

After Gonzalez fell to the pavement, covered in his own vomit, Lazaro grabbed his now less-attractive victim and pulled him back into Lazaro’s trailer.

Argelio was still breathing, so Lazaro stabbed him in the lung, which solved that problem, then grabbed a hatchet from the cauldron and smashed Argelio’s head open. Lazaro claims that he then ate Argelio’s fingers and that he thought they were tasty.

After two days, Lazaro Galindo decided that he’d had enough fun with the corpse and disposed of the body. He wrapped the carcass of his rival in a garbage bag and some sheets and tied it all into a nice little package with some phone cord. With a white rose in Argelio’s hand, a slit throat and a note that said, “Italian mafia,” Lazaro hoped to throw off police and place the blame on the mob. Putting the pieces of the body into two trash cans, he loaded it all into the trunk of his girlfriend’s car and dumped the cans in a field near a middle school.

Back at the trailer, he poured water and bleach over all the surfaces he could, trying to dispose of the evidence. The bloody clothes were tossed into trashcans around the city. Argelio’s keys and one of the knives used to cut up his body were thrown out of the car by a factory. Finally, Lazaro sold his girlfriend’s car to a guy on the street for $100.

A lot of work for nothing, really.

Some children found the body in the trash cans while they were playing. Cops were called.

They headed to Lazaro Galindo’s trailer and found evidence all over. As the icing on the cake, Lazaro wrote a 40-page confession, explaining his desire to eat human flesh, detailing his killing of Argelio Gonzalez and how he had disposed of his remains. And, of course, he defended himself in court.

A jury thought about the case, really hard, for just over two hours before they came back and delivered a guilty verdict and convicting Galindo of second degree murder. Lazaro Galindo was already serving a 45-year sentence for molesting a 13-year-old girl. Once he serves that time, the life sentence will begin.

Robert Black

Robert Black was one of those people that – even as a kid – you knew he would end up in jail at the very least.

Given up by his factory worker mom when he was just six months old, Robert Black ended up being raised by a foster family, Jack and Margaret Tulip, who were both in their fifties and had fostered several children already.

Robert Black was abused by both foster parents. His foster father Jack abused him before he died when Robert was five and his foster mother Margaret abused him for the next several years, until she died when Robert was 11. She would lock him in the house for hours on end or pull down his pants and smack him with a belt. Whenever he wet his bed, which he did on a regular basis, he would wake up to a beating.

Known to the neighborhood kids as ‘Smelly Robbie Tulip’, he was known as an odd kid, who liked to play with children younger than himself that he could control. Robert Black frequently demonstrated random acts of violence towards those weaker than himself, attacking handicapped children often. Several of his acquaintances remember a specific instance where Robert beat the crap out of a smaller kid with an artificial leg, jumping on, hitting and kicking the other kid for absolutely no reason.

According to interviews done with Robert Black in later years, Robert started to develop a fascination with sticking things in his own anus at around the age of 8. In 1990, once Robert Black had been arrested, police serving a search warrant on his residence found incredible photographs of himself with a wide variety of things in his rectum. A wine bottle, a table leg, a telephone…all in his butt. When asked by authorities about the photos, Robert Black explained that he just wanted to see how much could fit up in there.

He was sexually odd throughout his entire young life, really. Fascinated with looking up girls’ skirts, playing with feces, and sticking things up his own butt, it was just a matter of time before Robert Black took the next step and engaged in criminal behavior.

Robert Black was 12 when he engaged several other boys at an orphanage to try to rape an 11-year-old girl. She was pushed down, her underwear stripped, and her skirt torn, but the boys were unable to perform the actual act, although not for a lack of trying.

This act got Robert sent to an all-boy group home, where he was molested by an older man.

You’re probably getting the picture of what Robert Black turned out to be. All this abuse and twisted behavior wasn’t going to result in anything that could be considered normal. It didn’t. Robert Black turned out to be one of the worst people that humanity had to offer.

When Robert Black was 15, he got out of group homes and was able to get a job. He found a job doing deliveries and rented a room in a boys’ home. While he was doing his deliveries, he would look for little girls, sit down and talk to them. He’d try to touch her, and in his own words, “Sometimes I succeeded, sometimes I didn’t.” He estimated that he had molested between 35 and 40 girls before he was caught when he was 17.

17-year-old Robert Black approached a 7-year-old girl in a local park in the year 1964 and asked her if she would like to pet some kittens. The little girl, not knowing any better, went along with him to a deserted building. Once they were there, Robert turned on the little girl, strangling and choking her until she was unconscious, after which he sexually assaulted her.

Once he was done, he left her, unconscious, in the building. She was found later wandering the streets, dazed, bleeding and crying.

Robert Black was arrested, tried, and admonished – basically told not to do that again.

He did it again in 1966, to the 9-year-old daughter of his landlord. The police weren’t notified, Robert was just kicked out of the building.

Moving to the next town, in 1967, Robert Black molested yet another little girl, the 7-year-old daughter of another couple who rented him a room. This time the police were called, Robert Black was arrested and charged, and in March of 1967 Robert Black was found guilty of three counts of indecent assault and sentenced to a year in prison.

Once he was released, Robert Black moved to a bigger town – London – where he could get away from his reputation. He worked as a photographer, as a lifeguard and as a delivery driver – using each position to get as close to little girls as he could.

On a hot summer day in July of 1982, an 11-year-old named Susan Maxwell rode her bike to go play tennis with her friend. She was found two weeks later in a ditch. She was only able to be identified by her dental records, because the hot sun had accelerated the decomposition. The only clue as to what happened to her was that her pants had been removed. Authorities pressed hard to find the killer, but there was nothing they could do…

…until a year later, when on the eighth of July of 1983, five-year-old Caroline Hogg disappeared after her mother gave into her daughter’s begging to go outside and play at a playground for a few minutes before bedtime. This time someone had seen the little girl holding hands with “a scruffy man” as he led her to a local amusement park.

Caroline Hogg’s body was found on the 18th of July, 300 miles from where she had been taken, and within 24 miles of where Susan Maxwell’s body had been found. As with Susan, Caroline’s body had decomposed in the hot summer sun, but this time the girl was completely naked. Again, the authorities searched diligently for whoever had done this, utilizing newer techniques with computers to sift through the data…but no arrests were made.

In March of 1986, ten-year-old Sarah Harper disappeared while he was on an errand, going to the store for her mother. One the 19th of April, 1986, her body was found by a man walking his dog who saw her body floating in the river. Sarah had been violently raped – the injuries to her genitals were horrific – and had been thrown into the river while she was still alive.

Four years later, Robert Black would finally be caught.

On the 14th of July in 1990, six-year-old Mandy Wilson was walking down her street to go play with another neighbor girl, when a neighbor out mowing his lawn saw her approach a van. The van had its passenger door open, and Robert Black was standing there.

In a split second, according to the neighbor who witnessed the event, Robert grabbed the little girl and stuffed her into his van, before jumping into the van himself and taking off.

This time, Robert Black had made a mistake. This time there was a witness with the presence of mind to call the police with the license plate number and description of the van.

Police didn’t have to chase Robert. He drove by the neighbor’s house again, and the neighbor pointed at the van and shouted, “That’s him!” An officer ran into the street and stopped the van, with Robert Black and little Mandy Wilson inside.

Mandy had her hands tied behind her back, had her mouth covered with Elastoplast and had been shoved into a sleeping-bag. She had already been sexually assaulted, and according to later interviews with Robert Black, he had plans for her.

“When I’d done the delivery in Galashiels down the road, I would have assaulted Mandy sexually. I would have probably stripped her from the waist down, but I would have untied her and probably took the plaster off her mouth. And if she called out when I was assaulting her, then I might have put the gag back on.”

Arrested and tried with overwhelming evidence against him, Robert Black pled guilty to kidnapping and molestation and was sentenced to life in prison. Through detective work and repeated interviews with Robert, authorities pieced together his whereabouts for the last several years and uncovered a trail of molestation, sexual assault and murder. These new clues and pieces of evidence led to more charges and another trial for Robert Black.

Evidence was given to the jury to mull over.

All the victims were young girls.
All were bare-legged, wearing white ankle socks.
All were taken from a public place.
Susan and Caroline were both abducted on hot July days.
All were abducted in a vehicle of some sort; Susan and Sarah were both abducted in Transit-type vans.
After abduction, all the victims were taken some miles south.
All the bodies showed signs of a sexual motive for the attack: Each victim was obviously taken for sexual gratification. Susan Maxwell’s pants were removed, Caroline Hogg was naked and Sarah Harper was found to have suffered injury.
None suffered any gross bruising or broken bones.
Both Susan and Sarah had been unclothed and then reclothed; all three victims had their shoes removed.
No real attempt was made to hide the bodies.
All the bodies had been dumped in a 26-mile area.

The jury took three days to return a guilty verdict for all charges. Robert Black was sentenced to life in prison for all the charges.

As of the 26th of September, recent developments and new clues mean that Robert Black will possibly face charges of the kidnapping and murder of 13-year-old Genette Tate. Genette was snatched off the road while she was doing her newspaper route on the 19th of August, 1978.

She was seen as she was pulled into a red Transit van by someone who then drove off.

Robert Black, of course, was a delivery driver who drove a red Transit van.

Other evidence brought to light recently means that Black could also be charged with the 1981 murder of nine-year-old Jennifer Cardy.

While Robert Black will never have any worse punishment, at least the families of the children involved can possibly find some peace from a conviction of the man responsible.

Marcus Huffman

On the 18th of March, 2007, a 19-year-old woman was outside the popular Platforms Dance Club in Providence, Rhode Island. The bouncer was doing his job and wasn’t about to let her into the club, as she was visibly drunk.

37-year-old Marcus Huffman, an on-duty police officer working the area, came across the young lady and offered her a ride home in his squad car. Relieved that she wouldn’t be stranded outside the club by herself, she accepted and hopped into his police cruiser.

13-year police veteran Marcus Huffman didn’t drive the woman home. Instead, he drove her to an unmanned police substation and raped her.

A video shown later by the prosecuting attorney shows both the woman and Marcus Huffman entering the police substation together. After a short while, Marcus Huffman appears on the video as he leaves. A few minutes later, the woman exits the building alone.

The woman managed to get to the home of a relative who lived nearby and they called the authorities. A few minutes later, three cops showed up.

One of the cops was Marcus Huffman.

Oh the irony.

Even worse, Marcus Huffman was the senior officer that responded, so he was the one who took down the details and wrote the report.

Marcus Huffman was indicted on a count of first-degree sexual assault by a grand jury. He pled not guilty, despite the video evidence, despite the lack of a mention in any report that he had contacted the woman at all, despite the fact that his semen was found in the woman’s boxer shorts.

Bad cop! No doughnut.

What makes this whole “bad cop” situation even worse is that Huffman had a history of sexual crimes, but had never been convicted, and his employment as a cop was never challenged.

A few months after he started working as a cop, the then-25-year-old Huffman was charged with having sexual relations with a 10-year-old girl when he was 16. A judge decided that there was no evidence of coercion or force, so he dismissed those charges.

A few minutes later, Huffman was charged with trying to extort sex from a well-known local prostitute while he was on duty. Some evidence turned up that the woman was being less than honest, and the second grand jury decided that the case wasn’t strong enough.

Oddly, Marcus Huffman was charged with three misdemeanor counts of assault in 1998. He put the director of the DMV in a headlock. His sentence? A suspended one-year jail term.

Chris Hawkins

The adorable little boy in the picture here is Ryan Hawkins, who recently celebrated his fourth birthday.

Ryan Hawkins’s parents, Christopher Hawkins and Valerie Hawkins, had decided that their 17-year marriage wasn’t salvageable and separated back in July of 2007.

40-year-old Valerie Hawkins took it well. Valerie had found a new boyfriend and was well on the way to starting a new life for herself.

47-year-old Chris Hawkins…not so much. His friends noticed that he had been “really down” since the separation.

The kids didn’t live with Christopher, but he did take care of little Ryan on the weekends

Ryan Hawkins was said to be the “apple of his father’s eye.”

On Sunday the 23rd of September, 2007, at about a quarter ’til one in the afternoon, Chris Hawkins’ 14-year-old daughter Donna came by her dad’s house to pick up Ryan and take him back to her mother’s house.

Chris Hawkins had already been drinking. He had decided that Ryan was not going back to his mother.

As Donna Hawkins entered Chris Hawkins’s house, Chris, while holding a knife, told his daughter, “Sorry, I’m going to kill Ryan.”

Then he attacked.

Donna stumbled out of her father’s house before collapsing on the street.

Blood was everywhere.

The owner of a nearby store was one of the first people who arrived at the bloody scene. He tried to help the girl by taking off his shirt and bandaging her wounds. According to him, “She had a stab wound on her face which went straight through her mouth, she had stab wounds in her stomach just under her rib cage, all over the place. Her right arm was completely broken, she couldn’t breathe.”

Donna had been stabbed more than 20 times, all over her face and body. Following an operation that lasted for five hours, she was in serious but stable condition.

Little 4-year-old Ryan Hawkins, whose dad had just the previous day taken him out to go bowling and given him a Spiderman outfit as a present, wasn’t so lucky.

His father stabbed him 10 times, which was something the little boy’s body just couldn’t endure.

Paramedics, who had been called by neighbors to assist Donna, entered the house and found Ryan’s body, lying in a pool of blood inside his father’s home.

Chris Hawkins was nowhere to be found – for a while.

After killing his son, and doing his damned best to kill his daughter, Chris Hawkins walked down to his wife’s place of employment to look for her. Fortunately for her, she wasn’t in the taxi office at the time.

Not finding his wife, Chris Hawkins decided to get a beer.

Chris Hawkins was arrested by police while sitting with a friend, Bob Burns, drinking a beer. Police originally arrested both Chris and Bob, but Bob was released shortly thereafter.

Miriam Gallegos and Angel Ray Montoya

The world has probably seen the last of Niveah Gallegos, which is sad.

Niveah was last seen wearing a red, long-sleeved shirt with an elephant on the front. She had red sweat pants and pink princess shoes on. She had straight brown hair, brown eyes, was about 3 feet 6 inches tall and weighed about 45 pounds.

She was a beautiful 3-year-old girl.

Her mother, 20-year-old Miriam Gallegos, claimed Niveah had been grabbed by two strangers who snatched the child out of her arms, threw the little girl into a white vehicle and drove off.

An Amber alert was issued early on the afternoon of Friday the 21st of September, 2007 after Miriam Gallegos reported her little girl’s abduction to the authorities.

The entire city of Denver searched for the little girl, but the Amber alert was canceled an hour later.

Police announced that Niveah Gallegos had been murdered, but refused to provide any more details at the time.

An arrest warrant was issued for Miriam Gallegos’s boyfriend – 22-year-old registered sex offender Angel Ray Montoya.

Angel Montoya was convicted of indecent exposure in 2000.

In 2003, Angel Montoya was arrested for indecent exposure again. Later that year, he served 60 days in jail for failing to register as a sex offender.

In 2005, Angel Montoya was charged with child abuse and false imprisonment, and sentenced to probation.

He violated his probation terms and was sentenced to 270 days in jail with authorized work release.

After a brief chase at about 8 in the evening, Angel Ray Montoya was captured on Friday the 21st of September.

He was carrying an empty blue duffel bag with black handles and had a bus pass.

20-year-old Miriam Gallegos was arrested a short time later.

Since the little girl was reported missing, authorities have been looking for the body of Niveah Gallegos in the general area that she lived.

The public has been asked for assistance with the search.

“It’s pretty simple,” said Mitch Morrisey, who is Denver’s District Attorney. “Walk out into your back yard, look through your dumpsters, help us find this little girl. She’s probably in a black plastic bag or white plastic bag.”

Authorities believe the body of Niveah Gallegos may have been placed in a white trash bag and then a black bag, before being placed into the duffel bag Angel Ray Montoya was carrying when he was arrested.

Angel Ray Montoya is being charged with first-degree murder. During his court appearance on Saturday, the 22nd of September, David Turner, his public defender, immediately filed motions with the court to keep law enforcement from interviewing Montoya about the case and from taking samples of his DNA

Miriam Gallegos has been charged with false reporting, being an accessory to a crime and child abuse resulting in death.

Joshua McClelland

Kids sometimes say the darnedest things when you really wish they wouldn’t.

Like 28-year-old Joshua McClelland’s kids, for instance.

There they were, Joshua McClelland and his two little kids, 5-year-old Zach and 10-month-old Olivia, out on a drive at about 4 in the afternoon on the 18th of September, 2007, which happened to be a Tuesday.

John Pash, a state trooper, responding to a concerned citizen reporting a possible drunk driver, noticed Mr. McClelland driving erratically and pulled him over.

Ok, fine. That happens all the time.

After giving a few field sobriety tests and determining that Mr. McClelland was drunk, the trooper arrested him for DUI.

That sucks, he was driving drunk with his kids in the car, but still – it happens all the time.

While the trooper had Mr. McClelland in the back of his patrol vehicle, 5-year-old Zach pointed out a bloody knife on the floor of the vehicle McClelland had been driving to the trooper and said, “See that knife? Daddy stabbed mommy in the back.”

Whoa! Now that’s different.

It turns out that Joshua McClelland had an anger problem that he liked to take out on his wife.

A few months back, Angela McClelland had moved to Bruceton Mills, which is a small town in West Virginia to get away from her husband.

The week before, Angela had let Joshua come over to see the kids, and, to be honest, he was acting just fine.

This visit, however, was different. Joshua McClelland had been drinking whiskey and was demanding that Angela come back with him to Ohio.

He was feeling a bit stabby.

When she refused, Joshua grabbed a handy steak knife and stabbed his wife twice while they were fighting in the kitchen.

5-year-old Zach jumped on his father’s back, grabbing Joshua around the neck and trying to help his mommy, but he was only 5 and was quickly thrown off.

Joshua McClelland ran after Angela as she tried to escape and stabbed her in the back, neck and stomach, inflicting a total of seven stab wounds on the smaller woman and puncturing both her lungs.

With his wife collapsed on the floor in a pool of blood, Joshua grabbed both kids, threw them in Angela’s car and drove off moments after neighbors had called police to let them know what had happened.

As Joshua used the restroom while stopped in Pennsylvania, someone noticed that he was staggering around and was apparently intoxicated when he re-entered the vehicle he was driving and called the police.

Angela McClelland was rescued by emergency personnel, who put her on an emergency medical helicopter en route to a West Virginia hospital in time to save her life.

Joshua McClelland was in prison as of the 20th of September, 2007, where he was being held on a $125,000 cash only bond while waiting for an extradition hearing. It’s entirely likely he will be returned to West Virginia where he will face a number of charges.

Joshua McClelland was sentenced to one to five years in prison for stabbing his wife.

Angela McClelland survived the attack.

She appeared at the sentencing and asked the judge for leniency.

Instead, Preston County Circuit Judge Lawrence Miller Jr. gave Joshua McClelland the maximum sentence for the crime.

Anthony Anderson

Anthony Anderson had been smoking pot and drinking alcohol with his two buds for a few hours on the 27th of July, 2007, when he came across 50-year-old Christine Lakinski lying on the sidewalk.

Immediately overcome with concern for the poor woman, the 27-year-old Anderson quickly jumped into action, giving the stricken grandmother first aid and sending one of his friends off to call for assistance.

Ok, come on. You know better than that. This is People You’ll See In Hell – not the happy happy love love blog.

In reality, Anthony Anderson first made sure that his friend was recording the helpless Christine Lakinsky with his cell phone before he grabbed a bucket full of water and dumped it all over the supine woman.

No response.

Then Mr. Anderson sprayed shaving cream over her.

No response.

So finally, in an act of utter depravity, Anthony Anderson whipped it out and urinated all over Christine Lakinsky while shouting, “This is YouTube material!”

When emergency crews were finally called, Christine Lakinsky was declared dead on the scene – not from anything the three idiots had done – but from pancreatic failure.

Anthony Anderson will be sentenced on the 22nd of October, 2007.

People You’ll See In Hell can’t wait for that YouTube moment.

John David Roy Atchison

At a time when the people of the United States are having lowest-ever levels of trust in our public servants, John David Roy Atchison takes what’s left of our trust, beats it with a hammer, runs over it with a 1986 Monte Carlo, throws it into a woodchipper, feeds it to a pit bull, sets what comes out of the pit bull on fire and puts it on our doorstep.

Yeah, John David Roy Atchison is that bad.

What makes it worse is that Atchison, a member of the Florida bar association since 1984, isn’t some guy living in a van down by the river, waiting for kids to walk home from school so he can snatch them. To all appearances, John Atchison was a normal guy – the typical assistant U.S. attorney.

John Atchison has worked in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Pensacola, Florida, since the yuppie days of the late 1980’s, where he handled asset forfeitures in a wide variety of criminal cases and civil cases where the United States government was a party.

He graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and received his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

John Atchison lives in a nice house in Gulf Breeze – a small, relatively wealthy town of about 6500 residents near Pensacola, Florida.

John Atchison is the president of the Gulf Breeze Sports Association, a youth athletics organization, where he coaches girls’ basketball.

John Atchison’s wife Barbara is a science teacher at Gulf Breeze High School.

He is a father of three children.

“By all outward appearances, he’s a very fine individual,” said Buz Eddy, the Gulf Breeze City Manager.

Of course he is…until you look deeper…

His “About Me” section is interesting.

Handsome, educated, professional, experienced Daddy. I love younger girls. Like everything about you…how you think, talk, act. I’m very understanding and supportive..never ever judgmental. I’m fascinated by ab/dl girls, and accident prone girls…love to take care of and provide the TLC you’ve been needing.

Well, uh….ok.

Since the 29th of August, 2007, John Atchison has been having daily Yahoo Messenger chats with someone who he thought was a mother in Detroit, Michigan who was interested in allowing David to have sex with her 5-year-old daughter.

The “mother” was, of course, an undercover officer looking for pedophiles, working with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies nationwide.

During these daily chat sessions, John Atchison suggested, among other things, that the mother tell her daughter that “you found her a sweet boyfriend who will bring her presents.”

Oh, that’s nice. That’s just great.

When the “mother” expressed concern that her “daughter” might be physically harmed as a result of sexual intercourse with a grown man, Atchison sought to make her feel more at ease with it, saying “I am always gentle and loving; not to worry, no damage ever, no rough stuff ever. I only like it soft and nice.”

John Atchison went on to describe how he could be sure there was no physical harm to the child, saying, “Just gotta go slow and very, very easy. I’ve done it plenty.”

Oh really? Done it plenty, Mr. John David Roy Atchison? Mr. U.S. Attorney?

The chatting stopped on Sunday, the 16th of September of 2007, when John Atchison put down his keyboard and mouse, got up from his sticky chair, and hopped onto a plane leaving Pensacola to fly into Detroit’s Metropolitan Airport, carrying an overnight bag.

What was in the bag?

Change of socks? Check.

Change of underwear? Check.

Hoop Earrings? Check.

Dora the Explorer doll? Umm…Check?

Petroleum jelly? Ok, check this guy into jail.

John Atchison was arrested by officials as he stepped off the plane, which arrived shortly before 5 in the afternoon.

He has been charged with enticement of a minor using the Internet, which has the potential to give him 30 years in prison.

Mr. Atchison has been charged with aggravated sexual abuse, which also has the potential to keep him in prison for 30 years.

Mr. Atchison has also been charged with travelling across state lines to have sex with someone under 12, which has a maximum sentence of life in prison.

How’s John Atchison holding up? Well, he’s off suicide watch, his attorney has stated his goal of getting Mr. Atchison released from jail until his trial, and his boss, U.S. Attorney Gregory R. Miller, has released a statement saying, “The employees of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida are deeply saddened by the arrest of federal civil attorney J.D. Roy Atchison.”

How about you? Do you feel sad?

John Atchison pled not guilty on Wednesday, the 19th of September, 2007.

Louis Stroschein Jr.

Looks like someone’s getting detention after school…

31-year-old Louis Stroschein Jr., the principal of Harlan, Iowa’s Shelby County Catholic School, was grabbed by the police at a “predetermined location” in nearby Black Hawk County.

Do you think the “predetermined location” was a church?

Why would Louis Stroschein Jr. pick that particular location to show up at at that particular time?

Well, apparently he thought that a girl was there, a 16-year-old girl, waiting for him to drive her to a hotel, so they could have sex.

According to authorities who ran the sting, Louis Stroschein Jr. knew that the girl was 16 and in their internet chats expressed pleasure that she was so young, but so mature.

And possibly wearing a Catholic schoolgirl outfit.

But instead of finding a young, hot girl, ready to go off and fulfil his fantasies, Louis Stroschein Jr. found several large Iowa sheriff’s deputies, equipped with handcuffs and guns.

Along for the ride were personnel from the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Apparently Iowa takes internet crimes against children fairly seriously.

Good for them!

Louis Stroschein was nabbed as soon as he arrived, and has been charged with enticing away a minor, which is a class D felony. Mr. Stroschein has pled “not guilty.”
