Darren Lucas and Tracey Lucas
It was the kind of call that cops get all the time.
40-year-old Darren Lucas had finally decided that he’d had enough of Tracey Lucas’s verbal abuse, so he called the cops on his drunk, 30-year-old wife.
Police showed up and arrested Tracey, who was obviously drunk and disorderly.
Then, probably alerted by an unpleasant odor, the police went inside the Lucas residence to check on the couple’s seven kids.
Inside, they found what were described as “utterly squalid” conditions.
The officers’ shoes stuck to the carpet as they walked through the house. The floor was covered in garbage. Dirty dishes were everywhere. Bedding hadn’t been changed in what seemed like years.
There were feces in the bathtub.
The two youngest children were the only ones that were asleep, lying down on completely filthy, stained mattresses, with bedding that looked like it was out of a horror film.
The children were taken by child services.
Both Darren and Tracey Lucas were arrested and charged with seven counts of child cruelty.
Once investigators started digging a little deeper, they found even more cruelty committed by Darren and Tracey Lucas.
One of their sons currently suffers from a bowel condition called Hirschsprung’s disease. While his older sister had overcome this problem through a successful medical regimen, the boy had missed 15 out of 26 appointments and was, as a result, still using a colostomy bag.
The kids were also missing school. A lot of school. On average, the kids who were in school only went about 60 percent of the time.
Their defense attorney went to bat for the Lucases. He explained to the judge that Darren Lucas had a “deficit of thinking skills” – in other words, his lawyer was trying to explain that good ol’ Darren is a dumbass.
Tracey was, according to her lawyer, suffering from depression.
She was probably depressed because she was married to a dumbass.
Because the couple had pled guilty to the seven counts of cruelty to children, and because he felt that the Lucases didn’t intend on deliberately harm their kids, they were each given suspended sentences of four months and ordered to take parenting classes.
Darren Lucas was also ordered to do 100 hours of community service.
Frankly, it’s amazing.
You need a license to run a kennel and breed dogs, but any pair of dumbasses can bring seven kids into the world.

Good thing they didn’t get Judge Abel from Waco, Texas. He’s the judge that took my daughter away from me because her father and step-mother told him I was having sex in front of her. No proof, nothing. Just because they told him that, I no longer have custody of my daughter. We had a nice, clean house, food, utilities, etc. She hasn’t spent one night with me in over 4 years, but yet trash like these 2 get to keep all of their kids. Amazing.
i want to let people know that my nephew had the hirshsprungs disease and let me tell you when he has a bowel movement you have to get it off of the baby immediatley or it blisters there private parts and their bottom and u cant let them have certain foods and things like that.i can only imagine what them kids went threw you know if they lived in filth like that they didnt take care of them kids letting them live like that what the hell is wrong with yall the 20% that voted they are inncoent!whats wrong with the world today!!
These two will have to go go to hell cause incinerating their asses is the olny thing that will be able to get rid of the stench.

It’s amazing that, considering how terrible the conditions were, the parents only got 4 months and some community service. Conditions like the ones described don’t just happen overnight; it happens over months and years. They may not have, “meant any harm to the kids,” but any sane parent should know that living conditions like those aren’t exactly conducive (SP?) to a healthy upbringing (which I’m sure only aggravated the kids with medical conditions).
Plus, the parents didn’t exactly sound like Stable Mables themselves.
Since this was an ongoing thing, I think they should have received a harsher punishment.
Please, stupid and depressed? whatever, just plain stupid and lazy -how smart do you have to be to take out the trash on a semi regular basis?? Simply lazy drunks whose kids deserve better

Depressed? No. For things to get that bad, you have to be a lazy piece of trash.
Stupid? No. There is no level of stupidity that allows for this to happen. Even a child who experiences this KNOWS something isnt kosher about it.
Bloody pathetic,seriouslu people,I grew up in that kind of environment….I was rolling over in bed on cat n dog shite….always left alone at the tender age of 6…with no gas and electric on,while my alcoholic mother went on benders,no curtains or carpets….n at nyt times I use to sit at the windows as I was afraid of the dark,dare I say anything,I would get a beating….and still it goes on,and still nobody says out…..well let me tell you,if I ever hear any1 beating their child,I sooo would go thru their place and grab the child…..call the cops etc…..neways,I could write a book on the cruelty we all sustained…and the defense atorneys want friggin hanging themselves…..tits they are…pissin learning difficulties,a childs mind etc…..utter bolox…my eldest son is 11 nearly 12 yrs old and u can be assured he would never harm a fly…..and don’t give me the bad upbringing card either…..seriously,the shite that went on. With us we could write a book like I sed b4….cruel,twisted parents we had,and we don’t go round beating are children!! Xxx I think ill get off ma soapbox now,and submit this shall I xx
