Conditions like the ones described don't just happen overnight; it happens over months and years. They may not have, "meant any harm to the kids," but any sane parent should know that living conditions like those aren't exactly conducive (SP?) to a healthy upbringing (which I'm sure only aggravated the kids with medical conditions). Plus, the parents didn't exactly sound like Stable Mables themselves. Since this was an ongoing thing, I think they should have received a harsher punishment. It’s amazing that, considering how terrible the conditions were, the parents only got 4 months and some community service. He's the judge that took my daughter away from me because her father and step-mother told him I was having sex in front of her. No proof, nothing. Just because they told him that, I no longer have custody of my daughter. We had a nice, clean house, food, utilities, etc. She hasn't spent one night with me in over 4 years, but yet trash like these 2 get to keep all of their kids. Amazing.
