20-year-old Nicholas Jason Nolting was arrested on Tuesday, the 25th of September, 2007 for engaging in a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
A police officer came across the 14-year-old girl and Nicholas Nolting while they were groping each other inside his Nissan pickup at 4 in the morning on the 11th of July. The girl admitted to what they were doing, but insisted she was 17…for a while. After a while she admitted to being only 14.
Pastor Mickey Lohr, the pastor of the church the two lovebirds were a member of,, quickly pointed out to the press that the incident didn’t happen anywhere near church property and that Nicholas Nolting wasn’t a youth pastor, or on staff in any way with the church.
In Pastor Lohr’s words, “He was strictly a volunteer who worked with the music team and played guitar.”
Nicholas Nolting will possibly spend the rest of his life in prison if he’s found guilty of sexual assault and sexual assault on a child.

30-year-old Joseph Roberts was fighting with his 26-year-old girlfriend on Sunday, the 23rd of September, 2007.
He was probably winning.
After beating his girlfriend down, he pulled her clothes off and sexually assaulted her, displaying behavior you’d normally only see on Animal Planet.
Following the Animal Planet theme, punched his girlfriend’s 18-month-old daughter in the face when she got too close and interrupted him.
Police arrived and Joseph Roberts fought them too.
He lost that fight, however, and was arrested and taken to the Denver County Jail.
Joseph Roberts now faces charges of sexual assault and child abuse.

When a woman found a picture of a naked man in her 12-year-old daughter’s e-mail account, she decided to find out who it was.
She logged onto her daughter’s account and chatted with 29-year-old while cops looked on.
Despite the fact that she told Antonio Lazcano that she was a 12-year-old girl, he insisted on turning on his webcam, taking some pictures of himself jerking off, and sending the pictures to her.
During the chat, he told her not to worry about the difference in age between them because he had already dated a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old.
The cops traced the IP address of the guy who was hitting on a 12-year-old and found Antonio Lazcano, who was then arrested.
Antonio Lazcano faces charges of Internet sexual exploitation of a child, Internet luring of a child, enticement and obscenity, but a plea bargain has been offered. He’ll get his day in court in October.

ok, this was obviously consensual. definitely NOT hell-worthy to have consensual sex with a sexually active female. regardless of whether she was 14, this is not a completely evil act, don’t be ridiculous. where are the parnets
she told him she was 17 and he is only 20 the girl should be punished not him that is ridiculous these girls should also be responsible 14 is old enough to know better come on
Re the first story, i totally dont think its fair that this guy goes to jail. When I was 13/14 I looked 18 and could easily fool people into thinking I was older. This guy may have very well not known how old this girl really was so why should he be punished. The girl should be punished for lying and the parents should definitely suffer in some way for not keeping an eye on their young daughter.
i totally agree with you i mean when i was a little younger i could have easily said i was older. In fact i did it once or twice to get 17-18 year olds but if i were her parents i wouldnt be able to show my face or let her show hers until she was old enough for menopause!
I’ve know Nick Nolting (not terribly well, don’t get me wrong) for a few years now, I’ve sat in that same truck, and I can say he’s defiantly *not* a pedophile.
I would believe that he wouldn’t question too closely if a girl, claiming to be 17 (and, thereby, legal in the state of Colorado) was willing to, well, you get the idea.
In other news, Nolting is currently a free-man, so don’t get too torn up over it.
There is allot of difference between being a “free man ” and one who is currently out in bail.
On top of that , not knowing a girls true age doesnt make you any less guilty of sexual assault on a child. It doesnt make it fair either, just makes him a dumb ass for not checking.
So, he should, what then? Ask for her driver’s license before slipping her the pork-sword? Assuming that’s what even occurred… I don’t know how many girls you’ve dated, but I can’t recall ever asking them for ID…
I’m not saying it’s the girl’s fault, or she was “asking for it” or anything stupid like that. I’m simply saying that it’s not hell-worthy, a mistake, if you will. I understand how people can get all riled up about a man tanking sexual advantage of a young woman, especially if it’s a person that the aforementioned young woman trusts. This isn’t what happened here. The young lady appears to have been quite willing in the “goings on”.
It would be a shame if he spent time in jail for this.
Better to ask for her ID before slipping her one than to have some big prison inmate covered in hair and tatts slipping him one. Maybe i isnt the romantic thing to do, and yeah, had he asked im assuming he wouldnt have had sex with her. But it is what it is. Its part of “safe sex” these days. Wear a condom to prevent STD’s and check ID to prevent incarceration.
But what if she has a fake ID!!!!???

Nick is a regular dude that made a mistake, like us all, his was compounded by a corrupt church. His real youth teacher Ben Hackbarth was on the Longmont police dept. … but you didn’t read about that. or how loose the ethical example that was set for this young man. Life in Jail seems a little harsh seeing as the initially lied about her age. In most other countries it would have been thrown out of court.
In Spain and Japan, that relationship would have been legal.

I wasn’t going to post anything, but you really pissed me off. I don’t know if you know Ben, but I could never ask for a better youth pastor. He helped me in some of my darkest moments, I know few like Ben, a true man of God. Nick claimed to be, but was very lost. He would constantly do stupid things, but never hold himself accountable, Ben did try to help him out, but Nick never listened, hell me and my friends tried to help Nick, but he always wanted to do what he wanted. He knew the girl was 14. We had many talks with him why he should break it off with her. He supposedly broke it off with her, but kept seeing her in private until he was caught that night. Even after his arrest, our church still accepted him, but probably angry and ashamed he spread lies about my church and my pastor. The kid is a nut and is not to be trusted. I’ve known him for years and fear he has gone off the deep end.

Here is the thing, there are literally thousands of underage girls dating men. I am only 23 so was in high school not to long ago and I new all kinds of teenagers with boyfriend who were 20 years of age or older and several of them had parents who were totally fine with it..Young girls just see a older hot guy and ontop of that he can buy her things, he has a car and may have his own place and the girl loves that and they think the guy really likes them and is this great guy but in reality he is really a sick and twisted sexual predator. I can not tell you how many girls I new that got dumped once they hit 18 and a few weeks later I would be hearing the guy they were with was now dating a younger girl…
