Yes it’s sick but if he didn’t know then I don’t think he deserves hell or prison time. If she lied to him then she should be held accountable for that as well. I do think he should get probation or something but definitely not prison. Although I don’t agree with it, my 20 brother recently married a 16 year old girl. I wish to God he would’ve listened but kids no everything right? Anyways, this is wrong but also wrong on the parents fault. Who would allow their 16 to get married? The story here though why was a 14 year old even out at 4am? Where were her parents? Not blaming anyone just wondering.

Here is the thing, there are literally thousands of underage girls dating men. I am only 23 so was in high school not to long ago and I new all kinds of teenagers with boyfriend who were 20 years of age or older and several of them had parents who were totally fine with it..Young girls just see a older hot guy and ontop of that he can buy her things, he has a car and may have his own place and the girl loves that and they think the guy really likes them and is this great guy but in reality he is really a sick and twisted sexual predator. I can not tell you how many girls I new that got dumped once they hit 18 and a few weeks later I would be hearing the guy they were with was now dating a younger girl…

A 20 year old could spend the rest of his life in prison for mutual GROPING with a 14 year old girl????? Yes, it was illegal and wrong, and he should have known better, and legally her age means she can’t give informed consent… but the REST OF HIS LIFE???

And then I read comments about “they should execute him,” and “he’s going to hell.”

What is wrong with some of you people?????? Convicted, pre-meditated murderers often don’t get that much time. This is fucked up guys. Don’t start acting like mobs with proverbial pitchforks.

Now we know how the Salem witch trials happened, huh?

I wasn’t going to post anything, but you really pissed me off. I don’t know if you know Ben, but I could never ask for a better youth pastor. He helped me in some of my darkest moments, I know few like Ben, a true man of God. Nick claimed to be, but was very lost. He would constantly do stupid things, but never hold himself accountable, Ben did try to help him out, but Nick never listened, hell me and my friends tried to help Nick, but he always wanted to do what he wanted. He knew the girl was 14. We had many talks with him why he should break it off with her. He supposedly broke it off with her, but kept seeing her in private until he was caught that night. Even after his arrest, our church still accepted him, but probably angry and ashamed he spread lies about my church and my pastor. The kid is a nut and is not to be trusted. I’ve known him for years and fear he has gone off the deep end.

i totally agree with you i mean when i was a little younger i could have easily said i was older. In fact i did it once or twice to get 17-18 year olds but if i were her parents i wouldnt be able to show my face or let her show hers until she was old enough for menopause!

Perhaps you ask for an ID with Biometric identifiers. Just to be on the safe side.
