According to interviews with several sources in the town of Crandon, Wisconsin, details about those who were killed by part-time police officer and full-time sheriff’s deputy Tyler Peterson have emerged.

Tyler Peterson’s ex-girlfriend was Jordanne Murray, an 18-year-old who graduated from Crandon High School in 2007. She worked at the local Subway and also at an ice cream shop in Crandon.

Katrina McCorkle was an 18-year-old senior who was attending Crandon High School

Leanna Thomas was another 18-year-old senior attending Crandon High School. She leaves behind a surviving twin sister.

Bradley Schultz was a 20-year-old former Crandon High School student who graduated in 2005 and was attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a junior and majoring in criminal justice. He was back home to visit with friends.

20-year-old Aaron Smith, known as “Chunk” to his friends, was also a 2005 graduate of Crandon High School

14-year-old Lindsey Stahl, who had asked her mother if she could stay over at a friend’s house that night.

21-year-old Charlie Neitzel was shot three times by Tyler, but played dead and survived the encounter. He was in critical condition at the local hospital for several days, but pulled through.
