Mr. Carlock was found dead in his cell this morning, apparently of natural causes. He was awaiting trial. Unfortunately, it can be said that the media tried, convicted, AND executed this one. Shame on us all.

Yes, John Wayne Gacy was the clown (the resemblance was my first thought when I saw the pic). I don’t know about child mentoring, but he was active in the local Democratic Party, where he had is picture taken with Jimmy Carter’s wife while wearing an “S” lapel pin, which meant the Secret Service had given him a high-level security clearance. They were not too happy about this when they raided his house and found that picture. I can’t imagine why …
