Chytoria Graham
28-year-old Chytoria Graham and her boyfriend, DeAngelo Troop came back home early in the morning on the 8th of October, 2006 from a night out drinking.
As sometimes happens when people drink, Chytoria, whose name sounds vaguely like a venereal disease, and her boyfriend started to fight about something.
While many people do fight when they’re inebriated, very few of them grab their 4-week-old baby by the feet and swing it like a baseball bat at their boyfriend, like Chytoria did with her son Jarron.
The baby’s head connected with DeAngelo and the violent collision resulted in fractures in the baby’s skull.
The baby was taken to the emergency room, recovered and is staying with Graham’s family.
Chytoria Graham was taken to the police station and charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, simple assault and child endangerment.
In March, 2007, she pled guilty to the charges of aggravated assault and child endangerment, but withdrew that plea in June of 2007, hoping a jury would see things her way and release her.
Unfortunately for Chytoria, that legal strategy kind of backfired on her on the 11th of October, 2007, when a jury found her guilty on all four counts and the judge let her know that she was going to get at least five years in prison for what she did.
Her response was to drop to the ground in the fetal position and cry out:
Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God. No, no, no.
Chytoria Graham will be given her sentence on the 12th of December, 2007.

I say they tie her to the end of a fishing pole and cast her out into the sea as shark bait…Drunk or not, you have to draw the line somewhere. THANK GOD that baby recovered.
I voted no simply because she’s a colossal idiot. She didn’t have a history of abusing the baby or neglecting it. The story here doesn’t say anything about a past of drug use or murder or anything. She got drunk, she argued, and she made the INCREDIBLY stupid decision to use her baby as a weapon.
So no I don’t think she’s quite Hell-worthy at the moment, but she is stupid and deserves her punishment,.
The disgusting thing is that she was found guilty and sentenced to five to ten years in prison for her actions. So you’d think that was the end of it, right?
No, she is now appealing her conviction under the claim that her public defender counsel was ineffective. Guess she came to that conclusion since she was sentenced to prison. She admitted that she used the baby like a bat to swing at her boyfriend, so why the fuss?
Well, in May, 2009, under her appeal, a judge allowed her to post bail and go free pending the appeal. She managed to raise $20,000 IN CASH within hours of the judge’s terms being announced.
All I have been able to find out since that galling bit of news is that she was then ordered back to prison by the very judge that had granted her bail in the first place. Judge Cunningham has ordered her back since a state Superior Court ruling shortly after she was out on bail upheld her conviction. Her lawyer has cried foul and that this court isn’t the last stop in the appeal-train. Boo hoo!
And, believe it or not, her lawyer has hinted loudly and broadly that there is a “colour” issue with her case. Don’t ask me how it even enters into her abusing her child, but I have long since learned that defense lawyers are the scum of the earth and will do anything, absolutely anything, in order to get their client off. It is a big game to them and it is all about winning, justice be damned.
So, at last check, May, 2009, Chytoria Graham was back in prison, but her lawyer had more court appeals to place, so I’d love to know where her case is now. Hopefully, she is still behind bars, though I find it extremely interesting she was able to have $20,000 in cash for her bail within hours.

Well they are claiming a color issue because a white girl killed her newborn baby in the shower and said she was depressed and that she hid the pregnancy cause she wouldnt be able to play sports ohhhh nooo. Boo Hoo. oh and guess what she only got 3 yrs wow. hope she learned her lesson. and for the record i myself am white. Now chytoria if you ask anyone she was a loving mother who would do anything for her children who was constantly mentally and physically abused by deangelo. This is no excuse for what has happened and her son is completely fine and NEVER SUFFERED ANY FRACTURES TO HIS HEAD. But it just goes to show how black people get screwed by the system. Oh n the girl who killed her baby ON PURPOSE should be out soon. sad sad world
Who gives a shit what color someone is, if they do dumb-ass things hold them accountable. Something like this here is simple to remedy, take a f%cking bat to her until you’re worn out. Then hand it to someone else to keep it going.
SD, you’d like to think it would be easy to take care of scum like this. Unfortunately, there are people who do not like to think… at all… who, for some reason, were able to convince other people that it’s wrong to punish monsters for doing horrible things. I am particularly wrong for feeling this way because I am ‘white’ and she is ‘black’, though we both cry ‘clear’ and bleed ‘red’. I’m glad the Race Card doesn’t include frequent flyer miles.
