Have you ever had insomnia? When you can't sleep, sometimes you do weird things. Do I speak from experience? I wish I did not. As for the crime itself...WHOEVER did it...I lost my grandmother a couple of years ago. She had Alzheimer's and died of complications from a massive stroke. She was gentle and loving and good. Her 98th birthday would have been last week. The very idea that someone would look at a fragile, vulnerable woman of that age and see rape material...well, it's kind of shocking, the thoughts that inspire in me, as to what should be done with the raping and murdering scumpuddle. Why are so many people fixated on the fact that the daughter was up at 3 in the morning, as though that somehow changes things? Have you ever had insomnia? Want to act like a man, then own up to what you did as a man. Instead of letting someone else take the fall. Do this other person have serious money? Do he have a great job? Do his family have money? B/c there is no way a 17- yr old going to do all them years in prison for someone else like it is a cool thing to do. Epsecially not have anything to show for it if and when he is release. And how you are going to have his back in prison? He is not going to the county jail...that kid is going to prison! Where there is no real bad people who don't anything to lose, b/c they already lost it all. They are doing time until they die! Are grasping that? Do you have a good job/career so you can help his family with bills, food, gas, medical, dental, repairs, college, court cost etc? This is real life baby, not a movie. Prison is real, and they are going to do exactly what he did to that elderly woman. If he makes it to 5 yrs without killing himself or someone kill him I will be surprised. Only thing you can do is write about what you are doing outside them wall, put money on his comssiary, send pictures, and visit. Forgive me for my frankness, but I am telling the truth here. My father is in, and I know others who went. This is a serious matter b/c a young man has lost his way, and a mother/grandmother is gone. No one wins....please Jesus forgive him for he knows not what he has done. I mean that too, that boy is still a child inside. I am sure he don't know his rights, what it means when they were telling him all the legal stuff. Oh it is just so sad to see another young man go to prison again for something that could have been prevented. I actually do a lot of housework at night. Im not so good at the sleeping thing and so to make myself tired ill sit up and do ironing or ill clean the oven or something.
