Really though, people doing these things do them because they know that the way our society has become so deluged with liberal agendas and reductions of time for one reason or another that they can do just about anything and be out of prison in a relatively short amount of time. Increase the punishments and the crime rates will drop in a pretty even manner. If you knew you'd be put to death for raping a child you would most likely not do so, but if you knew you'd only 5-7 years for it and you might not think so long and hard before reaching your decision.
