People You’ll See In Hell’s server, hosted with Bluehost, has had “CPU usage exceeded” errors for the last several hours. Bluehost, while providing excellent customer support most of the time, really limits the amount of CPU cycles that one website can use.
This is fair, we suppose, because we certainly don’t want People You’ll See In Hell to hurt any other websites that have the misfortune of also being hosted on our server, but we’d really, really like to be able to stay up when several thousand of Netherland’s finest are visiting us.
So if you see People You’ll See In Hell up one minute, and down the next, blame the Dutch, and their newspaper that wrote an article on us, which can be read here.
If anyone out there owns a hosting company, and really likes what we do here, feel free to contact us.

I am sorry to say that I found out about this website by the article in the newspaper. There are no websites like this available in Holland, so I am afraid we will keep bothering your website!

We don’t mind if you keep coming, we encourage it! We just don’t want so many of you here at the same time.
It’s like an elevator - too many people in here and we’ll crash and die.

Look at some of the deals with 1and1.com.
I have a lame little web site and they were the best deal after reseaeching a few different options, including running a server atthe house!

We were with Bluehost before, now our contract with our dedicated server is up and we can’t quite afford to sign up again with them.
So we’re going back to Bluehost. Look forward to more “Overuse of CPU” outages, folks!
