  • Johni Michelle Heuser

Ronald Earl Creech II was coming home.

Harmony Jude CreechA member of the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division, Ronald Creech had been in Iraq for 15 months on an extended tour of duty, and was looking forward to seeing his beautiful 11-month-old baby girl, Harmony Jade Creech, who was being taken care of by his girlfriend, 25-year-old Johni Michelle Heuser.

After landing late in the morning on the 19th of October, 2007 and being picked up at the airport by a family member, Ronald walked into Johni Michelle Heuser’s house, into his baby girl’s room…and she wasn’t there. The window was open and the window screen was propped up against the house outside.

It looked like someone had broken in to Johni Heuser’s house through a bedroom window that faced a busy road, without alarming her or her other three young children, and had run off with little Harmony Creech.

The police were called. A statewide Amber Alert was issued.

Investigators acting on the Amber Alert stopped countless cars in the area, showing drivers a picture of Harmony and begging for clues.

Johni Michelle Heuser MyspaceJohni Heuser, whose MySpace page announces that she is single, claimed that the last time she had seen Harmony was at 11 that morning. According to Johni, Harmony Creech was wearing pink footie pajamas with the words “Daddy’s Girl” embroidered on one arm.

There were fifteen FBI agents assigned to the case and the area was awash in rumors and fear…

…until someone thought to look in the attic of Johni Heuser’s home and found the body of little Harmony hidden there. Her corpse had been sitting in the attic for weeks.

Neighbors, who described Johni Heuser as being secretive and private, had smelled something in the area that was reminiscent of a decomposing dead animal. It was so bad on the warmer days that people were searching their yards for something that died. It wasn’t until the weather started cooling down that the smell finally faded.

Johni Michelle HeuserAfter being arrested and interviewed, Ms. Heuser told authorities that she had found Harmony dead in her crib several weeks ago, had panicked and put the baby’s body in the attic of her home.

It kind of makes you wonder why she had chosen to describe what Harmony had been wearing. A jumper with “Daddy’s Girl” sewn onto the sleeve? Was that a subtle, cruel shot at Ronald Creech?

Johni Michelle Heuser has been charged with first-degree murder. When she showed up for court on the 22nd of October, she mentioned that she understood the charges and asked for an attorney.

Does Johni Michelle Heuser deserve Hell?

i’ll wait with the vote till more evidence comes up. as it stands, the facts aren’t looking too great for her, but definitive proof that she killed the kid are not posted, so i can’t judge (yet….)

I believe Johni should be locked away for the rest of her life, what mother puts there baby in the attic? and can actually go to sleep in the same house knowing ur baby is dead in the attic? I think she should have not hide the death of her… Inless she is guilty in some way of Harmonys death.

“Ronald Creech never saw his baby girl in person.”

While your statement is a dramatic way to end the story, it’s also completely wrong. Creech was able to return to the States last November where he met his daughter just after her birth.

I live just a few miles frpm where this happened so of course, our newspapers and tv stations were flooded with this story. It’s likely the smell came from Heuser’s nasty house, to which the local sheriff compared to a city dump and not the decomposing body. Temperatures sure weren’t cooled off here then as we had unbelievably hot weather right through October. Initial reports that neighbors smelled something decomposing were not accurate, local news clips showed neighbors saying this wasn’t true.

What is going on with this case? When is her court date etc? Anyone know?

She needs some serious help. I just had a baby 13 weeks ago and when I heard this story I just held him and cried. I don’t know how anyone could do something like that to their child. I hope we she doesn’t try to use the “I’m mental” card. I don’t care what was going through her head… you don’t do something like that and expect to get away with it. She’s crazy.

And the dad, feel for the guy, obviously was DUMB enough to have entrusted this cunt with his child for the WRONG REASONS.

Here’s the thing though, the story does not say that she killed the baby. No one knows what happened. For all we know the baby died from SIDS and this woman just freaked out and hid her body. I think we should all wihthold comments like “this woman is scum” or “she looks like a creep” until we know the entire story.

    13. comment number 13 by: Sarah

In what world would a loving, innocent mother who found her infant non-responsive, as one would in a SIDS situation, and not immediately call 911? I don’t really care what she looks like. She could be Angelina Jolie for all I care, but the fact remains that rather than exhaust all efforts to revive and save her child, rather than give her child a proper burial, rather than notify this baby’s family so that they could all comfort each other in a time of tragedy, she opted to stow this baby’s body away like Christmas ornaments in the summertime. I think one would be hard pressed to justify all of that and reconcile those actions with those of a caring and concerned parent.

I don’t like to judge people. If infact she did what she is accused of, nothing short of the death penalty is justice. That poor baby didn’t have a choice why should she. If guilty send her to her maker he’ll take care of it!

yeah, so i agree with everybody on here that thinks that she is a worthless person or worse so to say!!
if you found your baby in the crib not breathing the first thing i would hope anybody would do is call 911 no matter what.
what makes me mad about the media though, is that they show this all over the news when it first happened, even on nancy grace, and then all of the sudden NOTHING. no word on anything no more.
don’t they think there is ppl out there ( well me anyways ) that wonder what’s going on with this case? i have been looking for an update ever since the last one which was on october 24th.

      anyone agree??

so anyway, i hope she gets what she deserves!!!

harmony’s daddy has to deal with the loss of his daugther for the rest of his live. that is so not fair.

I can’t honestly say to much except my feelings are torn. You can say she looks like what ever but the truth see looks normal. All the name calling etc is something that will in the end hurt her other kids. And it does nothing to help Ron. This regardless was a person he loved at one time. He can’t help just as the kids can’t help what their mom did or didn’t do. If your mom or gf died would you want people dishing them? This is like a death to them give them some peace. We have suffered enough.

      [Reply]

    18. comment number 18 by: Svenja

to me she didn’t look normal in court whatsoever. she didn’t show no remorse or even a tear.
i agree with you tj, about anything said on here don’t help Ron, but i really think he has his own few words for her in his mind.
and nobody is dishing harmony or any of the other kids she had.
once they are old enough to understand that their own mother killed their little sister, i really doubt they will have any respect for her.
      but that’s just my opinion.
and don’t get me wrong, i wish everybody involved all the peace in the world, but this site like a lot of others, are for ppl to speak their minds, and you can’t blame them if they feel hatred against the woman.

michelle—-this is what i found about the autopsy.i coppied it from a site…
“It appears there’ll be no preliminary autopsy findings on Harmony Jade Creech. The 11-month-old’s body was found Oct. 20 at the home of her mother, Johni Michelle Heuser (below). The body was wrapped in plastic and stuffed inside a diaper box in the attic of the home on Ray Road near Spring Lake. Heuser has been charged with her daughter’s murder.
      heuser.JPG
“It usually takes three months to get a final report in a normal situation and this is not a normal situation,” said Maj. Gary McNeill of the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office.

That’s because Harmony hadn’t been seen for several weeks before her body was discovered, making the medical examiner’s job much more difficult.”

Wow that bitch is dime skank ass ho city. I’d buy that for a dollar! There’s no need to worry about birth control, you can pound her snizz as much as you like, and if the stank whore gets knocked up she’ll just shit the kid out, murder it and bung it somewhere out of the way to decompose. Only problem would be the overwhelming stench of brutally murdered rotting baby while you’re trying to watch TV and have a beer.

Still, definite marriage material. In fact, she should really think about running for congress. Well, perhaps she’s over qualified. She should just go straight for president.

What I find bizarre (other than killing your child, or whatever happened here), is how strangely most of the POS murderers treat the bodies of their victims.

When one of our koi died in the pond, we buried him with sadness. When our dog got hit by a car, we buried him with his halter, leash, doggybed and favourite ball.

It is bad enought that these people do not respect other’s lives…. but they have no respect for them after death, either. Dead birds in my yard get buried with more sadness and ceremony than the freaks who stash their murdered children in tupperware and stash them in a cubby or attic.

      Pathetic.
