Imagine you have limited to no use of your arms and legs and you require assistance in day to day life. You come to trust the person who feeds you and helps you go to the restroom. Imagine the helplessness and betrayal you would feel if that person were to rape you. Imagine how much worse it would be if they did it repeatedly. THAT is why we react so. There is no other possibility – it’s rape if the person says ‘no’.

Here’s a crude translation of my post into German:
Stellen Sie sich vor, dass Sie zu keinem Gebrauch von Ihren Armen und Beinen begrenzt haben, und Sie erfordern Hilfe in Tag zu Tag Leben.
