I know there were reasons beyond his control that turned him completely off towards females, because my husband did as well. His family (who has posted here) has stated the obvious pain the boys endured at the hands of their mother, which is a cause but definitely should not be used as a crutch. Todd should pay for his crimes, as should anyone who has done those things. I endured much pain by my husband many times, which eventually led to our separation, although I never stopped caring or loving him. Upon finding out about the death of my husband almost two weeks after his family had removed his body, did his family attempted to make any contact with me or my children? NO. or have they once called or written to contact me to maybe see how we were dealing with his death? No. Shouldn't we have gotten notice of his memorial service? Whether we were separated or not, I still had a right to know what was being done with his body. I don't blame them 100 percent for that. The law enforcement agency was at fault as well. Spewing stuff about family family family... they also did not attend our wedding, nor did they call more than a handful of times during the time that we were together. Be a family to them while they are here not when they are gone. Holier than thou does not fly with me, which is probably why I never met his family and why he would not return to Connecticut. Todd Zommer deserved what he got, his own BIOLOGICAL brother said so many times. You do the crime, you suffer the punishment. He admitted to the crime multiple times, he knew he was guilty. But it wasn't the illness that did it, it was him; he used what he could as an excuse so he could continue being as violent as he liked. And if that's what this man is telling all of you - that his bipolar <i>caused</i> this, then that's exactly what he's doing to you.
