  • Victor Orlando Cruz-Garcia

Victor CruzBecause of people like 29-year-old Victor Cruz, here, we here at People You’ll See In Hell don’t do two things:

    1) We don’t tell guests not to drink milk from the carton.

    2) We don’t invite homeless psychotic people to live with us.

While the second one pretty much goes without saying, we’ve found that the first one can be avoided by putting a mixture of one part Elmer’s Glue to 10 parts water into a milk carton and leaving it there with a sign saying “admin’s milk - DO NOT DRINK!”

This tends to slow down the unauthorized milk drinking somewhat, although our Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 Gallon, 128 fl oz, is nearly impossible to resist.

Regardless of our own success in this area, People You’ll See In Hell unhappily has to report that 46-year-old Beatriz Alvarez did both 1 and 2 and paid for it with her life.

Beatriz Alvarez, a goodhearted, churchgoing woman, took the holiday season to heart and invited El Salvadorian immigrant Victor Cruz and his girlfriend to rent a room in her apartment for a while, to get them off the street and give him a place to stay over the holidays. Perhaps she felt that he, an illegal immigrant, was kind of a kindred spirit, as she and her family were all illegal immigrants.

If life was a horror movie, this:

You know what? I can rent you guys a room in my apartment.

…is where everyone would be yelling at Beatriz to stop.

Victor Cruz and his girlfriend took Beatriz up on her offer, moving in with Beatriz Alvarez, her 27-year-old son Sergio Castrejon, and her 12-year-old daughter and making themselves at home.

For a while, everything was good, although Victor Cruz did kind of creep out Alvarez’s church’s pastor, who warned Alvarez to not let Victor stay at their apartment.

Beatriz Alvarez was too kind to kick someone out of her apartment who was down on their luck, however, and never changed her mind about allowing Victor Cruz to stay.

She undoubtedly came to regret that decision on Thursday, the 20th of December, 2007, when, at about 8:45 at night, Beatriz issued a mortal insult to her house guest.

She asked a slightly intoxicated Victor Cruz to please stop drinking milk out of the carton.

Tuscan Whole Milk 1 gallon 128 fl ozAt this time, it is unclear whether the milk in question was, indeed Tuscan Whole Milk, 1 gallon (128 fl oz).

In response to this terribly demanding request to not drink milk out of the carton, Victor Cruz went to his room, got his 18-inch machete, came back out and started to kill everyone.

Beatriz Alvarez was killed by the milk-drinking maniac. Her son Sergio had his arm and a finger cut off. The 12-year-old girl was slashed repeatedly on the head.

Once he was finished, Victor Cruz walked out into the night.

Beatriz Alvarez died, but her son and daughter survived the attack, both of them remaining in critical care for several days.

Sergio’s arm and finger were reattached.

Silvia GonzalesPolice caught up to Victor Cruz on the 21st of December, 2007, as he was walking down the street. Without his machete, Victor was arrested without incident.

    Update:

Prosecutors may seek the death penalty against 29-year-old Victor Cruz, who is accused of using a machete to kill a Las Vegas woman and slash her son and daughter.

“We’re going to be going to the death penalty review committee,” prosecutor Giancarlo Pesci told Hearing Master Pro Tem Michael Federico on Tuesday, before Federico scheduled Victor Orlando Cruz-Garcia to appear Feb. 8 in Clark County District Court.

Deputy Public Defender Tim O’Brien entered a not guilty plea on Cruz-Garcia’s behalf to felony charges of murder and attempted murder with a deadly weapon.

Victor Cruz-Garcia, who police say also used the name Jaime Cruz and provided authorities with an El Salvador identity card, has been charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon and two counts of attempted murder.

    Does Victor Cruz deserve Hell?

      Oh…My…God!

But, you guys, I bet he’s a really good person who just made a little mistake and you really shouldn’t judge someone if you don’t know all sides of the story. After all, he was probably picked on as a kid and we all know that machete attacks are just quid pro quo for a rough childhood.

      Jacko,

Exactly which parts are all wrong? The part where he kills this woman with a machete, or maybe the part where he mutilates her family? Am I supposed to believe that this woman could have possibly done anything that would warrant such brutality? That’s a new one though, blaming the victim. I guess that’s easy seeing is how she can’t tell her side of the story. I guess her kids made it all up then? Maybe they attacked her with a machete, maimed themselves to throw LE off their trail and pinned it all on this poor sap. I don’t know if it’s enough for reasonable doubt, but don’t despair. You will find plenty of people on here that will sympathize with your friend, the innocent accused.

Maybe…just maybe, he wanted Strawberry milk.

Ok that was bad I know.

I’m sure he was one of the many fine upstanding citizens that we brag about on this site. You know the ones that were great until something snapped.

Maybe he was bi-polar and none of us understand that condition.

      Maybe he did some crack.

Maybe he couldn’t he just needed some milk and cookies.

My question: Who the fuck drinks milk after being drunk. That sounds horrible.

Kdogg, Sarah, Brittany… once again, you guys almost made me ruin my keyboard… you almost made me choke on a pickle!

Psychos are psychos, though. My ex, when I was pregnant with our first boy, went ballistic because I had a craving for frozen yogurt (my foray into the non-vegan), and after he tasted my treat, I wiped the spoon off. What nerve! As if he was diseased or had AIDs! The fact that I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Epstein Barr, and a compromised immune system didn’t register. It’s one thing to say yuck, and another to be sick for months because of someone else’s germs. That right there is reason enough to not let people drink from your soymilk cartons.

Good thing is, since I had my boys after I was immuno-compromised, because of their exposure in utero, they can drink out of the soymilk container to their hearts content without worrying about making me sick like their dad did. Gross me out, maybe, but not make me sick.

Based on some of the times I got sick from the ex’s rampant germs, I don’t blame the lady for biotching about container-drinking. I often thought about dispatching said ex just for having virused me into pneumonia and bronchial infection, but lucky for him I am not a psychotic murderess!
