Kumari Fulbright
This is the face of 25-year-old beauty pageant winner Kumari Fulbright.
If I had to hazard a guess, based on her mugshot, nobody else entered.
For some reason, Kumari Fulbright and three men kidnapped Kumari’s 24-year-old ex-boyfriend, on the 8th of December, 2007, holding him captive for between eight to 10 hours.
Apparently, this ex-boyfriend had stolen some jewelry from Kumari Fulbright’s current boyfriend.
During the time he was held, tied up with duct tape and plastic cables, Kumari’s ex-boyfriend was tortured – mostly by Kumari.
Kumari Fulbright’s torture consisted of her holding the tip of a butcher knife into her ex-boyfriend’s ear, biting his ears (she likes ears), biting his hands and forearms. Pretty lightweight stuff, really, especially when you compare it with some of the other things that people have done.
They took his cell phone, briefcase and wallet, which had about $600 in it.
Well, Kumari Fulbright also held a pistol to his head and told him that she’d kill him, but the three other guys with her did that too, so – eh.
The torture ended when the ex-boyfriend decided that he’d had enough and grabbed Fulbright’s pistol, which discharged into the wall. With the pistol in his possession, he ran from the house, screaming for help.
You’d think that Kumari Fulbright, who works as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Raner Collins, might have shown a bit better judgment in what she did and who she hung out with, but then she likes posing in bikini tops while holding automatic weapons, so really, that might be a hint.
Although, the word “torture” seems a bit overstated, really.
Anyways, I’d venture a guess that she never mentioned a love for “world peace” during a pageant.
Kumari Fulbright, who was named Miss Pima County in 2005 and Miss Desert Sun in 2006 and also ran for Miss Arizona those years, was indicted on the 18th of December, 2007.
Kumari Fulbright and her three friends were really screwed when a police search turned up an expended bullet in her apartment wall, along with plastic gloves, marijuana, her ex-boyfriend’s wallet, briefcase and the book, “How to Win Friends and Influence People.”
Nice book. Good choice.
Kumari Fulbright, 46-year-old Michael Ergonis, his brother, 44-year-old Robert Ergonis, and 40-year-old Larry Bruce Hammond have all been indicted for their part in the abduction and torture session.

After striking a plea agreement, state prosecutors said they hope Larry Bruce Hammond will help them convict Kumari Fulbright – a former Tucson beauty queen and suspended University of Arizona law student accused of kidnapping, robbery and assault.
But an attorney for Kumari Fulbright says Larry Bruce Hammond’s testimony can absolve her in the alleged 9th of December, 2007 assault on her former boyfriend.
Hammond, 40, pleaded guilty Monday in Pima County Superior Court to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a Class 3 felony that carries a prison sentence of two to 8.75 years.
In agreeing to testify, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office is dropping charges of kidnapping, aggravated robbery, armed robbery and another aggravated assault charge against Hammond.
Hammond will be sentenced after he testifies against Kumari Fulbright; 45-year-old Robert Ergonis; and 44-year-old David Wayne Radde, said Andrea Esquer, press secretary for Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard.
A trial date has not been set.

Drug addictions make sane people do crazy things. As someone who has battled an alcohol addiction (never while driving, mind you), I try hard not to judge addicts. I wonder how many people around her saw her dissolve into this meth faced mess and did nothing, though. Poor girl. Poor tortured guy, too, but I feel bad for both. That being said, she’s still a fucking idiot who threw her life away. When she gets clean she’ll realize what she did, and hopefully be the better for it.
Also, as a woman, I never call another woman ugly. You might not be my cup of tea, but I’m not going to stoop to calling out someone about their looks, when there might be one or two folks that think I could use some work as well. Plus I know a lot of guys that might think she’s hot. I dunno, the whole “I’m going to dog you about your face, the one thing you can’t really change about yourself and then ridicule the decisions you make because of your low self esteem” thing has never been fun to me. I’m sure she knew she was the most masculine thing on those pageant stages. Those other girls would have only been to glad to tell her. And if you google her a bit, lots of other pictures pop up (especially on her facebook page), showing her to be far more attractive than any of the pictures above do. *shrugs* Thats just me though. I’m not holding anyone else to the same standard.

I have often commented here, and in RL, when it appears to me that the ugly on someone’s insides has spilled out onto their outsides, which is what this woman looks like.
I don’t usually have a problem with androgeny, either, unless it’s in a negative way. I’m not turned on by Rambo-looking pics of chicks with guns. For that matter, pics with guys and guns is just as unattractive…. to me. And, I thought I made it clear that I was only expressing my opinion by asking if other people ‘really’ thought she looked attractive, cuz I don’t see it.
I’m not sure about your comment that ‘as a woman’ you never call another woman ‘ugly’. Does that mean that you think it, but just don’t say it? Or that you just think all women are beautiful, no matter what? And what does that have to do with being a woman, anyway? Does that mean it’s ok if a man does that? I rarely allow myself to be guilted into being PC about anything based on my sex.
I would imagine that this woman, (whom I find not physically attractive at all) didn’t look any hotter when she was sticking a knife in her ex’s ear. I tend to find people who do things like that to be ugly. Or in this case, even uglier.
The good thing is, this woman now has a permanent momento of her ugliness in a mugshot. Maybe taking a good, hard look at that pic will help her stay off the junk, YKWIM?

Glory – I’m not trying to “guilt” you into a thing. It is my train of thought that in a society where women are told they should fit certain standard to be beautiful and anything less than is unattractive, I am not going to add to more baggage to a load that is already heavy. I have a three year old daughter, and she is not white, nor a biracial “exotic” beauty, so she already has two strikes against her. She has natural curly hair, and in the past few months she has come to hate it because all of the “pretty people” on TV and in the media (and on 99% or children’s programing) have long straight glossy hair. She loved her kinks before the world taught her that her natural hair is ugly. She loved her eyes until another child in school told her that her big gorgeous brown eyes were “ugly and plain”. All of the brown skinned black girls talk about her for being so light, but she’s not light enough to stop some of the other white kids from calling her the black girl like it’s an insult. She’s three, and already feeling outside pressure to look a certain way to be beautiful and accepted. I have instilled in her that judging people from the outside is wrong, and “ugly” as an adjective is a curse word in my house, along with “fat” and “retard”. I don’t give a damn what a person does and how twisted their insides might be, I don’t believe it is necessary to comment on someones outward appearance to insult them. Especially in such a faceless forum as this and other message boards. I remember my cousin getting a complex at 12 due to one of his favorite forums having a thread that started ridiculing people with teeth that weren’t perfect. His teeth came in crooked, and his folks didn’t have the money to fix them at the time. Imagine the pain we all felt when this beautiful kid started to hide his smile behind his hands, and then just not smile at all. I’m not going to engage in tearing down her appearance when for all I know there might be a poster here with the same features.
So no, as a woman who fits not one single standard of beauty despite the world telling me I should look a certain way, who finds beauty in the fact that we all look different, who is teaching her daughter that beauty is only skin deep and the rest comes from within, I do not feel compelled to talk about the way someone looks to humor others or prove points. If she had been that same cookie cutter blond women that we all see day to day, what jokes would people make then? What would the clever one liners be? If she didn’t look so rugged in her mugshot, this wouldn’t have even made it to PYSIH. Physical appearance carries a lot of weight with most of society. Just not with me. Like I said, I hold no one to the same standard.
I don’t think telling everyone they are beautiful, no matter what, is a good idea.
Not liking people because of size, colour, sex, orientation… bad.
Not liking people because the ugliness inside of them has oozed to the outside- good.
My grandfather melted over obese women. My ex-boyfriend had a thing for thin ankles. I hate fake straight teeth on people… I like people with slightly fangly teeth. Blue eyes are a turn-off for me. Everybody likes different things, even if they all pretend to like the images the media feeds them.
But to say that everyone is beautiful is just not true. It confuses me sometimes (even though I know it’s often in jest) when people say they find someone attractive but it looks to me like their ugly insides got out.
I would like to think that being skinny, having fake-ass tits, but having a face that looks like they applied evil to it with a spatula…. isn’t as attractive as some people make it seem.
Teaching your children to not put much weight in mean, nasty people who at some point will tease/taunt them will go a long ways towards having the kind of self-confidence that will prevent them from turning into someone like the Hawkins teen murderer. Having a sense of humour, not taking things personally, letting things roll off your back…. these are all things that eventually make anyone attractive.

I think it’s base and pointless to insult someone based on physical appearance. You disagree. I am not trying to change your mind, nor can I, just as you can’t change mine. Attractiveness is debatable pure and simple, and I don’t engage in pointless discussion about such an ambiguous term. You said it confuses you when others find people to be attractive and you don’t see it. I’m not so easily confused. Like you said, everyone likes different things. Whats ugly to you might not be ugly to someone else. To call someone ugly is an insult on a much deeper level than many people realize. When a woman catches her man sleeping with another woman who outweighs her by a whole 5 pounds, the first thing she’ll call her is a fat bitch or find some other way to call her ugly. It’s only to feel more superior. “I am a better person/woman/partner/etc. than you because I feel you are less attractive than me.” To talk about someone’s outward appearance in such a way is dehumanizing, and I simply don’t engage in such nonsense. My parents are good looking, and they had good looking children. But they kept us grounded enough to know that there is so much more to a person that how attractive/unattractive the exterior of a person might be. Of course I know some people are more aesthetically pleasing than others. But I have never felt the need to tear anyone down as a person because of it. Kumari had a lot on the ball, and she crumbled that ball into a pipe and smoked it. For that she deserves ridicule. But for a face and features that she was given by genetic makeup? Nah, I don’t have anything to say about that. They way you look is the way you look. For better or for worse, that’s just your face. You born with it, you die with it. You can try to cut it up and paint it however you like, but that’s still your face. I know too many women with the world laid out in front of them who will risk it all if they think the can somehow make themselves more attractive. I think that’s sad. All they can think about is when little Susie or Tommy Nobody told them that their nose was too big or lips were too thin. Or when a boyfriend/girlfriend pointed to a picture of some actress or model and wondered aloud why they don’t have perfect plastic perky DDs. I’m not going to engage in that behavior, and I don’t want my child feeding into it or being a victim. You look the way you look. If you look like Kumari Fulbright or Angelina Jolie, someone somewhere will love it. It doesn’t have to be me, or you, or anybody else. Your face speaks for itself, so I don’t really need to speak on it as well.

I am not confused by people who are attracted to people I think are not attractive, and I think anyone reading my last post will see that clearly. I am confused by people who consider cracked-out methheads good looking just because they are not fat, and they have fake tits.
If you look at earlier pics, which I generously took the time to google and provide, it’s very clear that whatever ugliness she had inside was coaxed onto her face by the time her ‘gun’ pic was taken, and no-brainer, in her mugshot. Whatever genetic attractiveness she might have been born with, she trashed by hitting the junk.

I was just as confused about people only half-ragging on this nasty person, because they thought her body was hot, as I am every time I see female molesting teachers get slack because they look fuckable, as if their looks should give them a get-out-of-jail-free cards after messing with boys. Somehow my criticism of this POS has ended up being interpreted very differently from my intention.
It seems like you are defensive and have personal reasons for being so. Which is all good, but you should think about how that will translate to your children- because from my experience it is a lot more effective to teach children to not react to negative teasing or comments than it is to just tell them that everyone is beautiful. I’ve already had to deal with this with my kids. I think they are beautiful, bit not everyone is so keen about half-indian boys with hair down to their waist. I left it up to them- do you want to keep being teased, or do you want to cut your hair to please other people? I was quite happy they chose to keep their hair long.
I doubt this POS did the things she did to her ex because she felt picked on for her looks. She’d won bathing suit contests, beauty contests, etc. None of which changes the fact that I think her face looks mean and ugly in her last 2 pics, and that generally I dont find people holding guns to be hot.
My opinions, of course, which I thought I was clear about. Kind of like the opinions I have of people who are smiling in their mugshots while the children they’ve abused are fighting for their lives in a hospital.

I may be in the minority of people who do not find Angelina attractive. I’m not fond of her rubbery mouth, or the fact that she couldn’t wait to fuck someone else’s husband until they were divorced. And anyone who wants a wakeup call, all you have to do is google ‘celebrities without makeup’ to get a clue.
Someone’s supposed attractiveness should have no bearing on punishment for crimes they’ve done, and as a woman, it bothers me that it is obvious that if people think a woman is fuckable (even if she needs her head bagged from ugly drug-face), she gets a lighter sentence than a man would for the same crime.
This troll should get the same punishment any guy would get for kidnapping someone with a weapon, holding against their will, stuffing a knife in their ear and threatening them. Emergencynurse- I agree with you. I cant explain it, but my viewpoints changed considerably at two different times— at 25, and again after my first boy at age 34.
It was not a drastic change, and it took me quite a while to even register that a change had occurred.

I looked at some of her other pictures and yes – she looks hot.
But the mugshot, as ugly as it is, does seem to say that this girl may actually have a consciense unlike many of the other POS that appear here. Seriously she’s either
1. Crying and all upset because she got caught and is more concerned about herself
2. Is finally figuring out that she’s someone who she never wanted to be. Will she make more mistakes – most likely yes, but with some help and GUIDANCE, she may make a nice wife and a good mother – because she’ll know more than most.
Look at Michael Gagnon – drunk driver who killed 5 people. He looks more pissed that he got caught than sorry for what happened. He’s more worried about his insurance rates than the health of the survivors.
