After you’ve read the Bible, try to understand the passages you read. “Judge note, lest ye also be judge,” is from Matthew 7:1(read the whole chapter, focus on anything to do with trees and their fruits and question whether a tree that can kill someone is a good tree or a bad tree, then ask yourself why you can “judge” such a tree, the chapter answers the questions). Your relative took a gun and shot another human being. He did it like so many other abusive, stupid, bastards have done to their wives so many, many times. He’s a statistic, he’s a story young men should be told about to teach them to never, ever take a life from their own personal vanity. Abuse and violence against your partner is never about love for someone else, it is always about personal vanity and personal pride.

Your Uncle displayed his bruised ego when he killed your aunt. I’m trying to explain to you that it’s your bruised ego that won’t let other human beings learn something from your Uncle’s senseless act.

My wife and I have had to help friends and loved ones through abusive relationships. When we were dating there were 3 major events where we had to deal with people like this. In an email, I wrote to her before we were married, I said, “If I ever hit you, or threaten to kill you, please, I give you permission to put 2 bullets right between my eyes. This is not who I want to be.”

I don’t want to be like your Uncle. I don’t want anyone to be like your Uncle. I want children and other men to read the example of your stupid, stupid Uncle and see how stupid and senseless his crimes were. I think of it like showing a child how to identify a coral snake or a copperhead. A man who shoots his wife is dangerous, is wrong, and should not be emulated.

Its clear you also have mix emotion. But, who are you to judge.

What, should everyone hold Hate in their Hearts until they leave the Earth? Be mature by displaying common sense and let the family mourn the way they see fit. This is a family in tremendous pain. If you can’t show compassion your opinions and egotistical way of thinking aren’t needed

I keep looking for a psychological name for what you folks are feeling. This connection to family that forces you to defend the indefensible, so illogically and so passionately that you take the insult to a murderer as an insult to yourself. You didn’t need to add that millstone, you picked it up and added it to your own burdens.

You all run to the Bible, and search for that same one liner, and never bother to finish the chapter it’s in. Never. Not a one of you ever bothers to read it for yourself, and you yell and scream at the speck in our eye, while you steadfastly refuse to remove the plank within your own.

Sorry for your loss, I honestly am, but I don’t think telling modern parables of loss and destructive personalities, as warning tales filled with social relevance to domestic violence and murder are poor uses of this website or the time of those writing and reading. Once upon a time women had to count their husbands as one of the leading causes of their own probable deaths. That’s a sour point in society, I wish could simple be removed as a fear. My wife has it in writing, and I’ll reiterate it here, “If I strike her or threaten to kill her, she’s to shoot me, at least twice, in the head.” Real men don’t need to kill the ones they love. Real men don’t need to even consider the concept, “If I can’t have her, no one will.” It takes a real man to be great.
