Most people in his case attempt an insanity plea, and most fail. Why? The answer is simple forensic psychology 101: Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity is based off of wether a person knew what they were doing was wrong when they were doing it! If a person (like Wisconsin ghoul Ed Geine) does not truely understand what they did was wrong, then they will be found unfit to stand trial and be sent to a mental institution to live out thier days.
Something is telling me that this guy knew what he was doing, othewise, he wouldn’t have made a show of it.

I’m not going to disagree that this guy sounds as crazy as any other killer, but the fact that he didn’t actually consume any of her, just cooked her up and SAID he was going to eat her, sounds like he was just trying to get the groundwork laid for an insanity plea. Remember, crazy doesn’t mean stupid.
