  • Valerie Kennedy and Annie Williams

Valerie KennedyIn the case of Valerie Kennedy and her mother, 53-year-old Annie Williams, the apple does not fall far from the tree.

Both are idiots, with a large dose of malice mixed in.

Let’s start with the younger of the two, 32-year-old Valerie Kennedy.

Valerie Kennedy has given birth to 10 children during her lifetime. Four different men had visited that cavernous gaping maw, deposited their seed and left for parts unknown. Two of Valerie Kennedy’s children died at birth, which left 8 children in the care of this she-beast.

Were those two children the lucky ones? Maybe. It depends on your point of view.

Valerie Kennedy liked to abuse her children a little bit, you see.

According to state records, in 2001, the state removed five children from Valerie Kennedy’s house, citing medical neglect and physical abuse.

But, of course, when you take children away from their mother, it’s best to keep the kids with a blood relative, so that’s what happened with Valerie Kennedy’s kids - they were given to Annie Williams, with the court ordering Kennedy to stay away from the children.

Annie WilliamsThe problem is that Annie Williams seems to be just as bad.

Now, allegations of abuse are thrown around all the time, but when a grandmother ignores a child who has a string tied so tightly around her finger that it cuts off circulation and has to eventually be amputated - that might be a clue someone didn’t pass Parenting 101. That happened in December of 2003.

When the grandmother involved insists to the social workers that the child never mentioned that she was in any pain, that might be another clue.

Regardless, the children were in Annie Williams’ care on Christmas Day of 2005.

And, of course, it’s completely unreasonable to expect Annie Williams to obey the court order and prevent the childrens’ mother from seeing them - especially on Christmas.

And so, on Christmas, Valerie Kennedy came across her 3-year-old son, Jaquez Mason, after he had pooped in his diaper, which was was obviously an offense against god and man.

Valerie Kennedy, parent of the year, filled her mother’s bathtub with scalding hot water and held the boy in the hot water until the kid was covered in 3rd-degree burns over half of his body, despite the fact that he was screaming and crying in pain.

Nobody called for an ambulance. Nobody took the boy to the hospital.

Jaquez just sat and sat. And sat. In pain.

The only medical attention the boy received was some ointments and powders that Annie Williams put on his skin.

It wasn’t enough, as evidenced by Jaquez Mason’s death on the first day of the new year of 2006. A death, that experts say, could have been avoided had he seen a medical professional at almost any time during his week-long ordeal.

One minute Jaquez was breathing…the next moment he wasn’t.

And that, my friends, is murder.

During Valerie Kennedy’s trial, her daughter, 9-year-old Damerasia Mason, told the court:

    My brother got burned up.

Damerasia Mason also told the court that her little brother really wanted to get out of the tub. She knew that he wanted out because he was screaming that the water was too hot.

Valerie Kennedy decided to go with the “defective hot water heater” defense, which is much like the Chewbacca defense except there’s no Chewbacca and no Johnnie Cochran, so it didn’t work.

Valerie Kennedy was found guilty and was sentenced to 60 years in prison in November of 2007.

The best defense Annie Williams has managed is her husband, Charles, stating to the court:

I love my wife. She didn’t hurt anybody. She was helping that baby, taking care of him.

Well, that’s fine then, Mr. I-don’t-believe-in-hospitals-despite-a-dying-baby-in-the-house.

Annie Williams has pled no contest to aggravated manslaughter and will be sentenced in March of 2008. She could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison.

Cases like this cry out for sterlization for some people. I hope she gets a injury and is refused treatment, it’ll be poetic justice

Just not right; I’m a firm believer that children should not be victims of crime!

It always trips me out how freaky people get about a little ‘dirty’ diapering.

Everybody knows that boys take longer to potty-train that girls. And if they don’t, their pediatrician would tell them. Or they could just read a book.

I’m guessing this mom and grandmom did neither. No doubt had no pregnancy care, either.

I often put my boy’s bums under water after they pooped their diaper. The key point being that it was not SCALDING hot water. It was meant to soothe, not punish.

When my oldest was about 9 months old, I had an old house with a floor heater, and he scooted his bouncywalker right on top of it. I will never forget the sound he made screaming because of the burns on his feet. And that was just for a couple of seconds. I took him to ER, and he was treated and bandaged. I had the floor heater yanked and replaced with central heat.

I cannot imagine that anyone could handle the sounds of a child who has been burned— and I’m guessing that what this grandma did was way worse (covering half his body?) than what I experienced.

Burning your grandchild? Not getting treatment for it? Living for a week listening to their pain?

      Hell.

And mom? Hell, too. There is no way any of her children can grow up healthy with 9? different fathers. Children need to have a father figure that loves them and teaches them to not be violent.

Oh, and BTW- My oldest son still wets his bed once in a while, as I did when I was a kid. It happens often, especially if you have a stressful childhood. The solution is to not make a big deal out of it, no matter how tired you are of having to wash the sheets.

Mandatory sterilization. Seriously folks, plug that thing up.

I’m with Sarah. She should not be allowed to do any more damage to the planet.

Sometimes the Department of Human Services are just too busy to care. I am sick of this country giving money for everything except protecting children. I’m all for mandatory sterilization. Human rights my ass! This tub of ground clutter should have been put in jail the first time she neglected her kids, and it doesn’t sound like her mom was much better. I’m not willing to share my oxygen with people like this anymore.

Human rights? It sounds like some people (in politics) do not consider children people. They can’t vote, do not contribute to cause$, etc…

Such animals should be spayed, but they have rights because no one bothers to think about the children until its too late - when the abuse has started. Then these do=gooders feel good when they come in and rescue the children.

Many of these do gooders also are in favor of abortion. Would they prefer to abort the babies born to such trash? By the time our government would get around to aborting such babies, most of them would be high school drop outs (as the apple rarely falls far from the tree)

Prevention is nover as glorified as salvation. By preventing such trash to produce children, these do-gooders will never get the spot light they crave!

these are still the worst cases imho, parent molesting or otherwise abusing their own is just sickening. i agree with everyone saying this bitch needs to be prevented from ever having children again.

I’d prefer to prevent this bitch from breathing again - and the parenting thing would be taken care of as well as any future lawsiuts brought by any attorney that would look to represent her!

Looking at that picture again - How did she become pregnant?
Unless she robbed a sperm bank…
      1. There is not enough alcohol to make her look even female to me.
      2. Like every guy, I think I am big - but even I’ll admit I just do not think I could reach that!

well it does only take once. but in her case it “happened only once” 10 times. Maybe she drugged the guy….

I’d still look for someone who maybe went to the ATM at the sperm bank… Apparently she went to 4 different branches (men).

While I do NOT want to pass judgement on the poor children as they are innocent, the odds are stacked up against them, but because of her the odds are high that my daughter’s generation will have bigger welfare role and more prisons than we have now!

The social worker who had tried going to the house after the eldest didn’t go to school had this to say:
“It appears the mother is suffering from some mental illness and is holding all the children hostage,” Lopes says on the tape.

Those social workers being fired was for the case of the mother who killed her 4 kids and kept their bodies in her apt for almost 2 weeks, not this case.

These 2 women need to be locked away forever.

Lock the fat bitch up on the Titanic! It’s about the only place that she’ll fit!

Leave the skinny one on top of the water, she’ll eventually sink.

The only thing that sucks is that hyperthermia is actually a nicer death than burns. At some point the pain just disappears, while burns it only gets worst. Although frost bite is soo painful when warming up!
