Caren Kohberger Arrested
Hey, remember Caren Kohberger?
She was the girlfriend/spawning partner of Travis Mullis, the guy who stomped on his 3-month-old son’s head until he felt the skull collapse.
Well, Caren Kohberger was arrested by the FBI as she walked out of a New York mental hospital. Apparently the FBI doesn’t like it when you lie to other law enforcement agencies, and delight in arresting people who endanger children by allowing mentally unstable people to take their babies.
Caren Kohberger now stands accused that she knew Travis Mullis was possibly dangerous, and that when she gave Alijah Mullis to his father, she maybe had a little bit of an inkling that something might happen.
According to the warrant for Caren Kohberger’s arrest, Travis Mullis was up all night the night before the incident, that he told her that he needed to get away from it all, that he was having flashbacks to his own abusive childhood and that he was afraid he would hurt Alijah because of all this stress he was feeling.
Caren Kohberger didn’t want Travis Mullis to run off and leave her, so she made him take her baby, thinking that if he had a baby with him, he wouldn’t actually leave her.
Well, that line of reasoning obviously had its flaws.
You can expect Caren Kohberger’s lawyer to use post-partum depression as a defense, combine with the fact that she was stressed out from having to deal with the fact that her spawning partner was a mentally ill, adopted, homeless and jobless pedophile who had issues with being molested himself as a child.

I am under the impression that she wouldn’t care. She isn’t going to face an real time with these charges, so she just go out find another ‘winner’ to impregnate her fat ass and try, try as she might to prove to the world that she is a good mommy. I’m NOT buying it. I would like to see her uterus and tubes ripped out, tanned and given to Travis as his only means of warmth in his cell until all of his appeals are done and leathal injection is submitted. That’s what I would like to see happen.

Now that the kid is being taken care of by the state, me and my siblings are assholes because we won’t help her and her boyfriend and we’re the reason they’re homeless. Well, except for my other sister, who has also found “JESUS”, and is doing everything in her power to help, their little family unit stay together. Makes me fucking sick to my stomach. If I didn’t care so much for my niece, I’d be laughing at the stupidity. Caren Kohberger and my sister would make great roomies, in the clinic after sterilization and in some cell where they could only cause harm to themselves. Stupid, fucking, silly, little bitches. this woman was/is a online chatting/social networking addict. She chose her virtual “social life” over her child. I have a sneaking suspicion she knew Travis would kill Alijah and THAT is why she sent the baby with him–she was tired of the baby interrupting her computer time and figured Travis would get rid of him and she couldn’t be held accountable. I am new to this website and I visit the Galveston News everyday to see updated news on Caren Kolberg. ( misspelling) Anyway, I understand that she has refused to waive extradition. Kim, I feel your anger. I am angry too. I wish to hell I had that baby that day. I would of loved to watch him. However, I am in Tucson and the baby was in Galveston. I am sooo angry at the mother. She knew that this guy was shady. How could she hand the baby over to him. Man, that moment in time really hurts me. Guess what, from what I understand they met via internet. What happened to old fashion dating? Well, I constantly think about Alijah. I love that kid. I have a 20 month old boy and couldn’t even fathom the thought of hurting him. Kids are a pain,but parents, especially mothers, need to protect them. This story really upsets me and makes me mad. The thought of Alijah crying and then suddenly feeling his head being crushed. I wish to hell I could beat Travis’s head. See how he likes it. You know it’s a basic that people need to be reminded: If you don’t want to be a parent, give the child up for adoption. Travis could of easily handed the baby over to a cashier at a Circle K and ran away. At least Alijah would be alive because an “investigation” would be underway.

Those people are sorry sacks of shit that should not be allowed to live. The mother and step-father of Baby Grace also met on the internet. WTF. I also read about a woman who abandoned her 6 kids to run off to Nigeria to marry a man she met on the internet. Stupid, stupid people putting themselves before their children. Sorry I didn’t write sooner. I still think of Alijah. I am playing the church organ this Palm Sunday. He will be in my thoughts when I play. I love that kid. Well, he is with baby Jesus now. I read that dear mother Karen, finally gave up her rights from New York and now is in Texas. I wish we could all attend a hanging. I would love to see both parents hanged by the neck.
I will write back soon. I makes me sick that she is out on a $20,000 bond. Who put up that money? She could of spent it on Alijah for decent daycare.

The problem is while we’re working for a living, there are lawyers and politicians who do not contribute, but rather spend all day figuring out how to acquire wealth without making a contribution.

Although it may be hard to understand, there really is a reason for placing adoption with the mentioned categories, as well as many others. But probably not for the reason you think. Yes, the gut response is that adoption has nothing in common with them
But, it does. Google any variation of ‘adoption, attachment, bonding, disorders’ and you will find many websites dealing with this issue.
A lot of adoptees end up in adulthood having at least one attachment disorder. For some people it does not cause many problems, while others may have serious problems in their life because of it.
Obviously, being adopted is no guarantee that you’ll go on some kind of killing spree.
Most attachment disorders result from some kind of trauma or abandonment in the first 3 years of life, so having a primary caretaker die, or being tossed around like an unwanted object because of divorce or abusive family situations can cause attachment disorders as well. It has nothing to do with socioeconomic status, as even rich people with intact families can produce children with attachment disorders if primarily care is provided by nannies, or if the parents are themselves suffering from an attachment disorder which leads them to treat their children in a cold, distanced manner. This is why it annoys me when a child is molested or abused as an infant/toddler, and well-meaning people say “Good thing they’re young… they’ll forget about it”. Because they won’t. Trauma at that age sets the stage for who they’ll be in the future.
This is why I think it’s important to breast-feed your children. In addition to providing the most nutritious food, the physical closeness and bonding is good for mental health. Studies have shown that newborns can identify clothing worn by their mothers by smell. Being inside someone’s body for 9 months is probably the reason.
Other than perhaps ‘crimes of passion’ (in which case the perp commits violence against only one person, and isn’t likely to re-offend), most violence, including the shooting-spree, is committed by people who have one form or another of an attachment disorder. It is often not recognized, and commonly confused with mental disorders… meaning they usually end up on improper meds, which is why you see so many murderers who had been prescribed mental illness meds. And why a lot of them had stopped taking them recently. They probably realized the meds were not addressing THEIR real problem…. but when you cold-turkey on those meds (whether you are mentally ill or not), the side effects are way nasty and hard to cope with.
It’s my belief that a lot of murderers suffer from the RAD variety of attachment disorders. The sad thing about attachment disorders is that unlike mental illness (which is very difficult to treat), attachment disorders CAN be treated with therapy and without the use of drugs if identified early on.
I’m adopted, and have helped several other adopted people reunite with their birthfamilies, including my own. It is very commonly known NOW among adoptees that attachment disorders are frequent adoptees. Most of us end up in therapy, where we end up coping very well.
Are all mass murderers adopted? All pedos? No. But almost all of those people suffer from some kind of attachment disorder, just like adoptees do, therefore it really isn’t as insulting as it would seem to have adoption lumped in that pile, since they’re all people susceptible to attachment disorders.
Sorry this is so long, but this subject is one of my pet peeves. If you are interested in crime/punishment, you might find it interesting to read up on attachment disorders and how they can lead to serious crimes.

Old story but news update.. on March 7, 2008 Caren Kohberger was eatradited back to Texas after 24 days in a prison hospital in New York. 17 minutes later she was RELEASED on $20,000 bond.

It took 24 days to bring Caren Kohberger back to Brazoria County to be charged with child endangerment. It took 17 minutes for her to post bond and leave the Brazoria County jail.
Kohberger, 27, the mother of a 3-month-old boy whose body was found Jan. 29 in Galveston County, flew Friday morning to Houston accompanied by two Brazoria County Sheriff’s deputies, Sheriff Charles Wagner said.
She was booked into the Brazoria County Detention Center at 9:20 p.m. Friday and released 17 minutes later after posting $20,000 bond, according to the sheriff’s office Web site.
“She appeared in front of a New York court yesterday and chose to waive extradition,” Brazoria County District Attorney Jeri Yenne said. “The state did not oppose a bond reduction, and she was booked into the Brazoria County Detention Center.”
Angleton lawyer Jimmy Phillips Jr., who is representing Kohberger, could not be reached for comment Saturday.
I want to know what the heck is going on with these two now. I have been trying to keep up on the story, but there has been no new information for a while. I have both her and his MySpace pages bookmarked, and apparently they are friends again? Guess it only takes a few months to work past your S.O. stomping in your baby’s head? Perhaps they are planning for baby #2 if he ever gets out of prison? lol

Nothing new that I could find, although I did find a partial transcript of Jesse Zaro Jr.’s 911 call to Galveston police when he found the body of 3-month-old Alijah Mullis while birdwatching on a seawall. I’m not sure if I’ll ever forgive you for that Jackie. I’m not serious, but I wish I hadn’t read this just the same.

She turned herself in — big deal. She did so after hiring a lawyer to cover her fat ass. She bonded out on reduced bail of $20,000, taking all of 17 minutes to do so.
