Regardless of how overdue your rent is, parents should not be pimping out their own 12-year-old daughters to pay the bills – and that’s just what Linda O’Connor did.
In 2006, when her little girl was 12, New Yorker Linda O’Connor offered her daughter for sexual purposes to 49-year-old Dean Sacco, her landlord, who lives in New Jersey.
Dean Sacco accepted Linda O’Connor’s offer and, after threatening to kill the girl if she didn’t perform, had sex with her daughter more than five times – while her mother watched – and 
while both Linda O’Connor and Dean Sacco took pictures of the activities.
And we were mortally embarrassed when our parents just came to our school to drop off a lunch.
Linda O’Connor didn’t just sell her daughter to the landlord to pay the rent, however.
There was Christmas shopping to be done, after all.
So, in December of 2006, after threatening her daughter with homelessness if she didn’t do what she was told, Linda O’Connor took her daughter to a hotel to meet a very special 40-year-old man. That man paid Linda O’Connor $150 so he could have sex with her daughter while Linda looked on.
Just $150? Come on. That’s not nearly enough to have a really great Christmas.
Linda O’Connor agreed, taking her daughter back to the hotel a second time to have sex with a different man.
Then the girls got their shopping on.
I’m sure you women out there would agree. A little Christmas sex, a little Christmas shopping, and you’re all smiles.
Just not when you’re 12, and not when your mom is selling you to icky old guys.
The girl is now 14 and in foster care. Her relationship with her mother is…strained. Especially now that Linda O’Connor’s daughter turned in Linda O’Connor for what she put her daughter through.
Linda O’Connor was arrested on the 10th of February, 2008. She’s been hit with federal charges of selling a child and charges of creating child pornography. If found guilty, she could be sentenced to life in prison.
Dean Sacco, Mr. Big-Time Landlord, was also arrested on federal charges, since he traveled from New Jersey to New York to have sex with the 12-year-old. He’s been charged with rape and other sexual crimes relating to having sex with an underage girl, crossing state lines to have sex with a minor and charges of manufacturing child pornography.

Oh my God. I can NOT believe what I am reading. I have the most beautiful 12 year old daughter in the world and I can NOT for the life of me, fathom EVER selling her to an “icky old man”. Hell, I don’t even like icky old men. That is the craziest, nastiest thing I have ever heard of. How could a mother do such a thing? The thought of anybody touching my precious daughter sends me in to a killing frame of mind. Yeah, I might go to Hell for that, but oh well. If an old guy ever so much as looked at her wrong, he would wish he didn’t have any eyes. That’s my thoughts on that one. OMG. I wish I could get my hands on that girl’s mother. And I wish I could show that little girl what a real mommmy is like. Poor, poor baby. She is ruined for life. I thank God my little girl will grow up happy, healthy and not ever knowing what Hell on earth is like. I hope God is merciful and helps that poor little girl forget or at least move on and be happy. I almost cried reading this crap.

When I was in a group home about 3 years ago, there was a girl in there and her mother pimped her out also. Her mother was white and the little girl was half black. Anyway, the girls mother pimped the girl at a young age of like 10. No one found out about it until she was 17.
I wonder how someone can’t see that something is going on with a child. Didn’t she change, or act different or something? How on earth could a child keep something like that to herself. I know my kid, she would scream bloody murder and tell anybody within hearing distance that someone was hurting her. I’ve told her since she was a little bitty girl that if ANYBODY ever touches her in some way that makes her feel uncomfortable or that hurts her, she needs to let the whole damn world know what’s going on someone will rescue her. She is very outspoken and I have told her many times that if anything bad at all goes on, she needs to tell a grownup and do NOT keep it to herself. I can’t reiterate enough how important it is to let your kids know that it’s not all right for an adult to do things that you don’t like no matter who that person is. If it’s your mom or your dad, brother, sister, grandparents etc., it is STILL WRONG and someone needs to know about it. I just wish that little girl had gone to someone sooner about what was happening to her.

I do feel for the child and really, if you were that down and out and that desperate I don’t think I could stomach watching it. I think I would be completely mortified to where I couldn’t watch if I ever got to that point.

I actually have a friend that is from Canada and he is 23 years old. He actually has been selling himself since he was 12 because of what his parents did to him. They had him sell himself to help make rent for his family. He actually told me about this last night. He told me he has been so use to it that he hasn’t been able to stop until about a month ago. =0( How sad is that?!?!

Kim, I’ve got 3 daughters (8,17,20) and a son (12)and the love that I have for them is so all encompassing. My kids and my wife are why I do what I do. I am because of them. Linda wasnt much different in the early 80s when i unfortunately knew her. she would do anything for money. she would sleep with a cab driver for rides, she has been arrested for thefts in the past, has a reputation for being a prostitute, she even went so far as stealing crosses from a church to get money. i still believe that she tried to kill me when i knew her years ago. i would love to see her go to hell and worse. she is someone that would do anything for money and has proved it over and over. she used to be skinny as a rail 90 pounds soaking wet dressed and now she is fat as a house. she probably couldnt get anyone that would pay for her and decided that her daughter was ‘worth’ something. i saw her about ten years ago at another court appearance. her son had been to foster care as she had left him with one abusive relative to another. i believe she would do this being like she is and i hope that they throw the book at her and throw the key away.

Two people were found guilty of charges related to selling a Norwich girl for sex.
The jury reached a verdict after nearly two days of deliberations in the federal trial of 49 year old Dean Sacco of New Jersey and 46 year old Linda O’Connor of Norwich.
The girl claimed they forced her to have sex with Sacco as payment for rent O’Connor owed.
Sacco was O’Connor’s landlord in Norwich.
The girl also claimed they took pictures of Sacco having sex with her.
Sacco was found guilty of all charges against him including buying a child to produce pornography, sex trafficking, production and possession of pornography, and violating interstate commerce by crossing state lines for sex with a child.
He is scheduled to be sentenced October 5, 2008,
O’Connor was found guilty of 3 charges of sex trafficking, selling a child to produce pornography, and production of pornography.
She was found not guilty of possession of pornography and a second charge of production of pornography.
O’Connor is scheduled to be sentenced September 30, 2008.
The trial in federal court in Binghamton lasted 4 weeks.

On Aug. 4, 1991, Dean Sacco attempted to hijack a moving Greyhound bus, but the driver wrestled the gun away from him and shot him in the head while a passenger grabbed the steering wheel.
Sacco was in prison from Aug. 28, 1992, to Oct. 15, 2001, following the botched hijacking of the Atlantic City-bound bus on the Garden State Parkway near Exit 140. Sacco was convicted of kidnapping, weapons offenses and two counts of robbery. While in prison, Sacco wrote a book titled “American Desperado: A Struggle to Find Myself.”
On April 21, 2004, Sacco was arrested in Jersey City on charges he sexually assaulted two girls under the age of 10 in Southbury, Conn. – but was later convicted on lesser charges.
Sacco faced two counts of aggravated sexual assault on a minor and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, but was convicted of reckless endangerment in the second degree and breach of peace in the second degree, both misdemeanors. He was given a one-year suspended sentence, three years probation and a restraining order, the official said.
Sacco had previously been arrested in Connecticut on charges that he exposed himself to two girls under the age of 10.
On April 4, 2007, Sacco was charged with various sex crimes, including six counts of rape, for allegedly having sex with a girl under the age of 13 in Norwich, N.Y., in August 2006.
On Feb. 10, Sacco and Linda O’Connor, 46, of Norwich, were arrested by the FBI on sex charges that included prostitution of a girl and production of child pornography.
