  • More information on why subscribing to an online background check service is a good idea:

  • Steve Kazmierczak

Steve Kazmierczak2This is 27-year-old Steve Kazmierczak.

There’s been a little confusion this morning, mostly because the server that PYSIH.com has been on went down, came back up, went down again, and then our Internet access went down for an hour.

All accounts agree that Steve Kazmierczak was a man interested in justice, which may be the motive behind why he bought three of his four firearms on the 9th of February, 2008, six days before Valentine’s Day.

Or it could have been that he was just off his meds.

Two years ago, in a scholarly paper that he co-wrote with several other students, Steve Kazmierczak described himself as being interested in social justice, corrections, political violence and peace.

Well, Steve changed a little bit.

admin - MySpace definitely not his, and thusly deleted.

As you know, Valentine’s Day is a very disturbing holiday for some people. You’ve probably noticed, if you’re a male or female, that on Valentine’s Day there’s a lot of pressure on both males and females. There’s very little Valentine’s Day pressure on transgendered folks, but they have their own problems to deal with.

    Anyways.

Not everyone gets a valentine in their mailbox and not everyone has someone who won’t take a valentine that they find in their mailbox, stomp on it, tear it up and set it on fire.

Was that what happened to Steve Kazmierczak? Did Steve have someone who refused his advances? Did Steve Kazmierczak have some kind of bad experience with women?

Is that why Steve Kazmierczak flipped out and, at about 3 in the afternoon on the 14th of February, 2008, took a 12 gauge shotgun, a .22 pistol, a 9 mm pistol and a .45 Glock semi-automatic handgun into a geology lecture at Northern Illinois University?

Did Steve Kazmierczak decide that someone needed to pay for his achy breaky heart? Is that why Steve Kazmierczak, who was dressed in black and wearing a stocking cap, ran out from behind a screen in that lecture class, stood on the stage in front of the class, pointed the shotgun at the crowd and started to pull the trigger, over and over?

According to some of the 100 to 120 students who were in the class at the time, Steve Kazmierczak didn’t even seem like he was aiming at anyone in particular - he just walked in with a blank stare and started immediately shooting.

When Steve Kazmierczak’s weapon ran out of ammunition, he started to reload, which gave the students, who were huddling under desks and trying to take cover from the deadly onslaught, a chance to put some distance between themselves and the shooter.

We here at People You’ll See In Hell don’t think any breakup is worth shooting over 20 people who are just trying to take notes in a class as boring as a geology class, and we’re sure that most people who aren’t going to Hell would agree.

Just because your feelings were hurt doesn’t give you the license to go out and kill six people.

If you feel the need to shoot yourself on stage, go ahead and do that. Just leave the innocents out of it.

And yes, we’re talking to you, Steve Kazmierczak.

steve kazmierczak high schoolThis is possibly a picture of Steve Kazmierczak from his yearbook photo, back in 1998. Or, maybe it isn’t. We’re still trying to decide while we all share this excellent cake.

Unlike a few other mass killers, Steve Kazmierczak wasn’t on anyone’s “mass killing” short list.

The former >Academic Criminal Justice Association Vice-President, Steve Kazmierczak had recently distinguished himself as a student in the Northern Illinois University’s sociology department, winning at least two top awards, including a Dean’s Award before leaving the University in the spring of 2007.

Steve Kazmierczak co-wrote an excellent article on the common occurrence of self-injury of inmates in correctional settings.

The chairwoman of UNI’s sociology department, Kay Forest, has told the media that she didn’t know how Steve Kazmierczak was connected to the shooting in the geology lecture, but she did confirm that one of the awards Steve had won was only given to “really good students.”

Well, this “really good student” managed to transform into a “really good killer” on Valentine’s Day. And innocent people paid the price.

I think this is further proof that we need make it legal for teachers to carry concealed handguns. How many students lifes could have been saved already? Not all teachers, but teachers who are willing to get proper training.

No wonder so many people choose home-schooling for their kids and then on-line colleges. We just aren’t safe anywhere any more. Malls, schools, town meetings. I guess pretty soon everybody will be too scared to even go to the damn grocery store. It’s a pitiful world we live in these days.

About your opinion Penny, “Teachers with guns “, will be the solution? or maybe we will have then teachers also killing people in the schools?? who knows?? There are a lot of crazy people out there no matter the age, no matter if they are students, teachers, policemen, whatever….. so the violence will not be stopped with violence. Anyway everybody should be just alert. There is not any safe place in this world, no matter where you are. Just people take care and avoid the danger in the way you can….

That’s what I was talking about. People staying in their homes because they are too scared to come out. Dead bolts on the doors, alarm systems, big dogs, the works. That’s what I see happening if the world keeps going downhill like it is. Or, hey, what about underground shelters? Then we would be safe from bombings and such. Kind of like that movie Blast from the Past. Just go underground and stay there. Sounds like a plan to me. Only if we store lots of beer down there. Crazy people are going to ruin life for the rest of us.

No, if you kill the person causing the violence then you can stop violence with violence. Personally, I’d love for my children’s teachers to be able to pull out a handgun and take out a student that decided it was okay to shoot up their school.

This was written April 7th, 2006.

“steve motherucking kazmierczak. yes thats exactly the problem here.

i was working at pirates cove in late 1995 and i was you know $4.50/hr child labor laws be damned and like i remember steve kazmierczak, the kind of kid who engaged in odd acts of fellatio with his dog, the kind of kid who’d go and masturbate in the bathroom while you were over at his house, the kind of person who injured kids on the train ride cuz he was mental and he shouldn’t be given domain over kids on little faux-traincars with an aluminum baseball bat… when steve f*cking kazmierczak ran up to me in late 95 early 96 proudly boasting his brand new copy of “i care because you do” like he was finally in with the cool kids.

both me and my friend joe died a little bit that day.”

These people don’t come out of no where from no where. There are always signs of serious mental issues long before they do something like this. Who knows what sick adult screwed this kid up. And what sick adult screwed up the adult that screwed up Steve? Can we every trace the beginning? I wouldn’t want to be the judge on that one.

Yeah, maybe when you’re condemning someone to hell you should make sure the ad panel on your web site isn’t selling t-shirts that say “you can’t have manslaughter without ‘laughter’” and “If you don’t buy our shirts, we will kill you” if you’re concerned about karma and/or justice.

admin - Very rarely has buying a t-shirt from tshirthell caused someone to die. Some idiot walking into a classroom and opening fire has caused many people to die - several times this month, if you’ve kept up with the news.

And then the people killing other people and in front of the kids…. what a good picture they will keep in their minds !!…. that’s not the solution. I’m agree with Amy, there are signs before a child decide to shoot with a gun to other students or friends, the teachers and parents should do something about it as soon as they detect some bad behavior in the children

I agree with arming more people.
While Steve did commit suicide, would he have done what he did if he thought he’d be up against even force before he even started?

Many children are abused, yet not all become POS, and some even become extraordinary!

While I would like to have seen justice, I am glad that he committed suicide because if he were still alive our “criminla justice system” would be spending thousands right now on doctors and attys.

Man, what is with the world these days? It’s sooooo super sad to say, but I agree that teachers, school bus drivers, even mall employees, should be armed with some sort of weapon. But only if its a lock box that students have zero access to. I cannot believe we even have to have this discussion. When I was in school no one ever brought nor thought about bringing guns to school. It’s very disturbing that we need our school teachers to have a weapon and ammo to save lives in the classroom. I think my future children will be home schooled.

I don’t think executing a murderer is violence. I call it justice. Getting a needle stuck in one’s arm is hardly a violent act when compared to stabbing someone to death or raping a child or shooting up a college campus. In my opinion, that’s a mild punishment for these violent criminals.

I agree with you, Blame, about the drugs for all that crap. My middle son was hyper and acted up in school and the doctor wanted to put him on medication. I told him hell no and when my son wouldn’t behave, he got punished instead of drugged up. He’s now a well-adjusted, normal 20 year old man and not in any trouble at all. There are too many kids on Adderall, etc. these days and that is just something I do NOT believe in. I say, parents quit being lazy and take a hand in making your child behave and quit using ADD or ADHD as a scapegoat for an unruly kid. I do understand that there are extreme cases where discipline doesn’t work, so yeah, parents do have to resort to the drugs. But, that doesn’t mean we all have to fall back on that without taking care of the problem ourselves. My kids were not in any way abused, but when they acted up and threw fits in public or even thought about causing trouble in school, they knew they would get a spanking or yelled at or grounded, etc. My youngest boy even got licks in first grade, which kind of made him think twice about making any more trouble. He’s now a senior in high school and we never had to subject him to licks again. hahah. Sometimes, that’s what it takes to get through to some of the more hard-headed youngins like my son. :) I am all in favor of corporal punishment when it is needed.

No kidding. There is a lot of stuff in this country that is a big deal. Everything that happens has a cause and an effect. Maybe colleges will get better security and what not to keep everyone safe. Malls and stores should do the same also because people are downright sick in the head!

I had a friend from North Carolina that would write to me online. He would tell me about how he was going to go into a school or mall of some sort and shoot 6 people and then himself. He never told me why. All he really said was that he wants to be remembered! (Of course I reported him and so did several other people that read it.)

Hello. Physical traits do come into play (genetics, etc) so when considering how a child is determined to have a “deficiency”, and how this supposed deficiency is then addressed as opposed to a child that needs no help at all the issue obviously is what takes place while that child is developing.

At this point it is next to impossible to distinguish between people that had a genetic issue or were fine at birth only to be driven mad by their surroundings. Time and time again we have people that seemingly have come from good homes, good families, supposedly raised well by good people, only to “snap” and in a short amount of time go out and murder scores of people. And you are not talking about morons either. As much as he is hated, Cho was an extremely intelligent individual, this was noted all through his high school years, in his college years (up until the incident that took place during his senior year) and this was noted during the federal investigation that followed his rampage. As was the shooter we are discussing right now.

The common bond between most of these shooters is that they were misdiagnosed, given a medication that they didn’t need which further compounded the ailment that drove them to be medicated in the first place (mind altering drugs are not to be fucked with) and this resulting behavior leads to the final outcome that others believe indicates that they were hopelessly sick and deserve to go to hell. The mere fact that most of these people were on medication (that in almost every case was NOT forced) shows that they at least deserve SOME credit for addressing what they apparently knew was an imbalance and sought help for it. Most of the fault lies in the hands of the doctors and our society for exasperating these situations.

Whether or not these people had an illness at birth or where driven mad by other things is very hard to determine at this time, but I feel is at the very point of what needs to be studied and looked into at this time. If they were not sick from birth than there is something in our society that is driving our people mad and it is not something that guns, meds, counseling or surveillance is going to fix.

However, do you consider that you may be judged even more harshly than he for your opinions [judgment] and an internet site that profits on “also ‘playing God’”? Who can say for sure, but God? What he did is sad, and inexplicable? What you did [opinion] however is sad, but explicable, indeed! Perhaps you may want to look in the mirror before you judge? Could it be that in fact you don’t believe?

I feel that the act of creating and continuing to maintain a site such as this shows enough about how odd a particular person is or isn’t. Assuming the “admin” is the actual creator of this site.

I think it’s comical that a person who believes in heaven and hell and who must surely contemplate the most popular belief as to how hell came about in the first place, continues to maintain this site.

God struck down his greatest angle(Lucifer), because Lucifer’s head got a little to big and he started to think he was better than God. Maybe thought he knew better.

You see no parallel between you casting these judgments and the reason hell supposedly exists in the first place??

To quote our good friend Kim “hahahaha”

admin - While god (little g) may have created angles, he never cast them down. He merely placed them in geometry textbooks for us all to take heed of, so that we may better ourselves and live according to his desires!

Read the “About PYSIH” page on this site.
      http://pysih.com/about/

Some people will never be ‘correctable,’ no matter how much therapy they go through, no matter how many apologies they offer.

They are the people you would probably see in Hell.

If you’d like to get into a theological debate, there are people who not only can oblige, there are people here who will crush you. Modern, American Protestantism conflates the Devil, Lucifer, Demons and a host of other things together. This is not how the bible or any other work presents it to us. Hell isn’t a place yet. Hell is theoretically going to be what God turns the Dead Sea into on the day of judgment. Apparently Christ has to contend with a whole bunch of demons, one of whom he sent into a herd of pigs and forced to run into the Ocean. God plans on letting the Devil out of Hell after a thousand years, ostensibly so God and He can catch back up and start betting again.

This is after God wipes away all tears, ends death and a host of other things.

As it stands, we have Sheol/Hades until the day of judgment for all of those sinners who die outside of God’s grace.

I have been following this story along with millions of others around the world.

This morning, I watched the interview with Jessica Baty that aired on CNN. I felt, as I was watching her read her boyfriend’s last letter to her, that she seriously lacked a sense of conviction and sincerity in the reading. It seems to me that this was a letter that she wrote to herself to read to the media because he didn’t leave one. A personal ploy for attention that she believes may give her a “1-Up” to advance her own goals is what I believe it amounts to.

There were several points during the interview that seemed inconsistent concerning her overall demeanor. One in particular is when she said that she “made him promise” that he would not hurt himself. Am I confused or were both of them pursuing careers related to psychology? Psych 101: You cannot “make” anyone do “anything”. May “heaven” help her potential patients if this evidence of her ethical belief system.

Every year many years, we have faced tragedies such as this one. Enlight of what has been going on for years, I have to wonder.. Why is homeland security not doing more to protect our homeland from our homebred terrorists? This sort of tragedy happens in schools, restaurants, shopping malls, post offices, on highways, etc. I was witness to one of these incidents at Cooper High School in Abilene, Texas in 1987. Fortunately, only the teacher was injured and no-one died. I say that it is fortunate only because it could have been much much worse - as it was intended to be. The point is, this is nothing new.. not even in the last 20 years.

In connection with that, and shifting gears to my true point, I feel that the majority of US citizens would like to thwart an increase in governmental control. No one really wants to have to stand in a line at a shopping mall in order to walk through metal detectors or other types of security checks. We would feel extremely inconvenienced as most of us are simply ‘in a hurry to accomplish our goals’. It is generally not until we have suffered a personal loss that we are willing to be more patient for such things. More governmental control would equal less convenience.

Wake up people! This world is going to hell in a hand basket. If you don’t want to be inconvenienced by higher prices and longer lines due to increased security… don’t cry when it’s someone that YOU love who’s killed as a result of prudent security measures not being in place.

P.S. Forget about God, heaven and hell and everything in between. You don’t need religion to know the difference between what’s morally correct or incorrect. When I use phrases such as “hell in a hand-basket”, I am using it as a general term because most people are familiar with it.

P.S.S. For those of you who consider yourselves ‘religious’ and believe that I am one of those who are truly “going to hell in a handbasket”… According to every religious text that I have studied, ‘It is not for you to judge’ and thus, in doing so, risk your own ’salvation’.

Those who can control.. control.. those who can’t.. be controlled. Somewhere in between lies an idealistic existence.

admin - Excellent points. Of course, the problems never have a simple fix. If you prevent people from bringing guns into certain buildings, those buildings turn into charnel houses when someone with a rifle, a grudge and a lot of ammunition shows up. And metal detectors wouldn’t stop someone determined to kill. Hell, a bunch of people standing in line at a metal detector would be a great target for the next Robert Hawkins or Steve Kazmierczak.

A Few Common Mis-impressions Here: One, Steve Kazmierczak was NOT a scientologist. That would be James Shaefer, former classmate of SK from ElkGrove IL, who IS the author of the blog “steve mothrucking kazmierczak”. Two, that what James Shaefer writes about Steve are valuable impressions. In my opinion, they aren’t worth a crap. You have to only read James’ aka sinicalypse entire blog on his site to understand what kind of lunatic, narcissistic, self-absorbed infantile loser her is (sinicalypse.) Three, if you read his blog, you get the feeling that Steve had obviously been maligned by his peers for many years, as James describes Steve approaching them at age 15, displaying his new interest in techno-muzik, only to be derided by this James as “if Steve thinks he is now one of the cool kids…”

I wonder if it is a Nebraska thing? I’ve got all kinds of em’, stick with me sweetie, I’ll educate ya.
