Say you’re a US Marshall.
When you walk into the US Marshall station to get your assignments for the day and get “eviction” detail, you always go in thinking there might be a bit of danger. – after all, people usually do not like getting kicked out of their homes.
So, you do whatever you have to do before every shift to prepare yourself for violence or just angry people in general.
Right?
Well, nothing you could do could prepare you for the nightmare that Banita Jacks created.
You show up at the residence.
The door opens and you get that first whiff of that sickly sweet stench that makes your insides turn.

This is 71-year-old William Pottinger.
William Pottinger is newly widowed, receives a monthly pension and likes betting and beer.
William Pottinger dislikes prison and feeding people, especially his wife.
On the 27th of March, 2008, William Pottinger started serving an 18-month prison sentence. During the trial, Judge Christopher Tyrer, the presiding judge in the case, described William Pottinger’s case as “horrific” and expressed his amazement that a case such as Mr. Pottinger’s could have happened in this day and age.
Obviously, the judge doesn’t read People You’ll See In Hell.
Perhaps People You’ll See In Hell should be required reading for those in public service?

You have to hand it to Gene R. Morrill, really.
Gene is a child molester – a convicted child rapist, actually – who believed that he had devised the ultimate legal defensive strategy.
Gene Morrill rapes and molests children because
…drum roll please…
He was once molested by Bigfoot.
And Gene Morrill will actually tell you this with a straight face.
Well, he has a gay pedophile face, but you get the picture.
Despite Gene Morrill’s extraordinary circumstances and in spite of the brave gay pedophile face he wore every single day while on the prowl for more children to rape, Gene Morril was still charged with five counts of attempting to take indecent liberties with a child, five counts of using electronic equipment to solicit a juvenile and 10 counts of reproducing child pornography after being caught up in an Internet sting operation where detectives posed as young boys online.

This is 41-year-old Becky Jo Tatum.
You may not realize it by looking at this, but 6-foot-tall Becky Jo Tatum has had a number of run-ins with the law. After having pled guilty in 1997 to a misdemeanor charge of attempting to traffic drugs, in 1998, she pled guilty to promoting prostitution, along with misdemeanor charges of attempting to possess drugs and attempting to receive stolen property.
Becky Jo Tatum has been under investigation a number of times by the local Department of Children’s Services, who have been repeatedly frustrated in their attempts to pin something on the woman, despite accusations of inappropriate conduct with and lackadaisical care of her 17-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son.

We get all sorts of e-mails from people who have story ideas, and I liked this one, so here it is:
Hi, I know you focus on people but this corporation that netted $11 billion dollars last year sued an employee that was broad sided by a truck and left brain damaged and in a wheelchair for the rest of her life without the ability to feed herself.
Her family sued the trucking company and won $700.000 after court fees and atty fees they were left w/ $417,000 so that she could be cared for properly Wal-Mart sued her for $47,000 because there’s a provision in your insurance form when you’re hired that the insurance co has a right to collect money used for your care.

For 42-year-old Steven Sueppel of Iowa City, suicide alone wouldn’t ensure a designated seat in this “Hell of Fame”. Neither would his embezzlement of approximately $560,000 dollars from the bank of which he was the Vice-President – Hills Bank and Trust.
But you know if Steven Sueppel was looking for a quick one-way ticket to Hell, murdering his entire family just might have gotten that for him.
Steven Sueppel had been indicted in February of 2008 on charges of embezzlement and money laundering and was out wandering around on a $250,000 personal bond. The Sueppel family was highly regarded in the area, with regular folks considering anyone with that last name to be “good people.”

19-year-old Pedro Espinoza is a member of the 18th street gang in Los Angeles, a gang comprised of mostly Hispanic youths which is widely considered the largest gang in Los Angeles. Estimates of their membership range from a low of 8000 to a high of 20,000.
That’s a lot of idiots with guns running around.
Perhaps someone who took a good, hard look at the situation would be of the opinion that what used to be a bright jewel of a city is in the later stages of being invaded. Or, maybe not. After all, if you can capitalize on racial division, there’s a future for you in American politics.
