Lisa Brazell DavisHaving kids alters your life in a lot of ways, just ask Lisa Brazell Davis and Edward Wise Davis.

Your sleep schedule and spending habits will be altered, and in most cases, you’ll grow up and mature fast.

Many of the crazy things you used to do you can’t do anymore.

Among those activities is being able to get drunk on a Saturday night and only have to worry about the hangover you’ll have the next morning. Because while you may want to get wasted out of your mind at a local bar and not have to worry about watching your kids, your kids will be too young to handle being by themselves. They could up hurting or injuring themselves and will most likely be scared out of their wits at being alone.

As such your Saturday nights will be spent watching your kids and instead of the craziness of your college days. It’s all part of growing up. We hold onto our crazy memories and move on.

Meet Lisa Brazell Davis and Edward Wise Davis, who apparently just couldn’t let go of their glory days.

Edward Wise DavisAlong with many other people across America, Lisa Brazell Davis and Edward Wise Davis wanted to go out and have a little fun on Saturday night in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day. They had just one minor problem, in the form of their eight year old daughter.

As one can imagine, most bars don’t provide entertainment for youngsters while mommy and daddy are getting smashed. Rather than forgetting the festivities, however, Lisa Brazell Davis and Edward Wise Davis came up with a novel idea. Did they find a babysitter? Rent a movie? None of the above.

Instead, Edward drove down to the bar where his wife was already tossing em back and told his daughter to make sure nobody stole the truck. He then locked her inside and went in to get sloshed with his wife.

Thankfully, someone finally noticed the little girl after she been in the truck for over two hours and called the cops. The girl told police she was afraid someone might kidnap her. Thankfully, she was rescued before that could happen.

As for Lisa Brazell Davis and Edward Wise Davis, they now face charges of child neglect and possible jail time.

No telling if they’ll want to relive any of those experiences.

Do Lisa Brazell Davis and Edward Wise Davis deserve Hell?

one of the reasons why i don’t want kids of my own, i’d have to give up too much after birth. a very selfish point of view, but a lot better then what these two did.

Having kids and then treating them the way these ppl did is selfish, choosing to not have children because you don’t want to change the way you live your life is not selfish at all, it’s resposible.

Stupid people. Kids aren’t supposed to be convenient. They aren’t going to the ring that some of the other people you’ll see in hell are, they are definitely headed that way though. Is there a ring designated for idiots?

Who was going to drive the truck back?

Can they get them on premeditated DUI or something and thus reckless endangerment of a minor?

Hopefully wasn’t too bad for my first story. I just saw this and was like what the heck?! I’m just glad these two were discovered now vs. later when their daughter is dead.

admin - Not bad at all. Idiots.

For some of the POS featured on this site, these are model parents!
I am sure that after a few beers this woman will be hot looking!
And what woman would not need a few beers before opening her legs to that?

Did they at least leave the keys with the kid so she could listen to the radio while she waited?

Um, Fred, I don’t want to call you out on your taste, but… WTF? It would take more than ‘a few beers’ to make Miss Googly Eyes hot.

Lights off- check, paper bag over head- check, donkey-punch to the head-check. Um, yeah…. she’s attractive. I think. Well, that’s what her revolving eyes keep telling me…..Ouch, ouch, ouch. No, don’t open your eyes. She’s working her googly-eyed mojo on you right now! Run! Hide!

Lol, I couldn’t help help but thinking the same thing when I saw her mugshot photo. She looks like a victim from one of the alians movies when they’ve been brainwashed.

I wouldn’t leave my 8 year old home alone, but using this couples rationalizing, why didnt they let her stay home? At least she could hav watched tv, and most likely no one would have known. Again, I dont agree with children staying home alone til their at least 12 or 13, but you’d think these parents arent that concerned. Good things these two were caught before this kid was emotionally or physically hurt any further.

I actually know Ed Davis and this is totally out of character and I have a feeling that this is something blown way out of purportion.

bogustoo reply on March 22nd, 2008:

Yeah, okay. It’s SOOOO easy to blow this event out of proportion. Was the eight year old in the truck alone? Were the parents in a bar?

Open and shut. There’s no blowing this out of proportion.

My world revolves around my children to the point that I don’t go to any movies with a rating over PG and without them in tow! When you parent a child, they become the biggest responsibility and the largest reward from doing everything in your power to do your best.
All Parents make mistakes. This was just a blatant disregard for their child, her safety and well being. Thankfully, nothing horrific happened to her.

Damn! From the looks of that woman’s eyes they were definitely doing some hard core partying-and not just drinking.

Look at her eyes. She looks like one crazy bitch! Fucking dead beat parents piss me off. If she didnt want the responsibility of raising a child then she had choices. She could have used protection. She could have aopted the baby out hell she could have even had a termination…but no, she decided to drag her kid around to bars instead. What a bitch.

How did they lock her in the truck? The doors open from the inside. I woulda got out, and went to the next store, or whatever and told someone at eight years old. When you are eight, you are in the second or third grade right?

whiteiris reply on November 2nd, 2008:

They could have used the safety switch designed to protect children from injury (if that’s possible on the driver side as well). Plus getting out of the truck to an eight year old (depending on the kid) is scarier then staying in…She did the right thing. What’s worse is her supposed parents were going to take care of her intoxicated. Or should I say NOT take care of her. This case is a total trigger for me to bring up the Legalize It argument. People can walk into a bar and get smashed legally (most of did Friday night 10.31.08). Hey it’s fun…live music…drink responsibly etc. But I can’t help but be bitter about not being able to smoke certain herbs of choice when the effects are far less severe and where off very quickly. Anyway, not everyone agrees. I’m used to it. :o)
