    Michelle Jennae Pedroza

Michelle Jennae PedrozaThis is 20-year-old Michelle Jennae Pedroza.

While neither People You’ll See In Hell nor the police can prove anything for the moment, we would still like to look at what Michelle Pedroza is under suspicion of doing.

Over a month ago, Michelle Pedroza moved away from the house that she had lived in for a while, a house that was right next to another house that was rented to some of her female relatives. We have been told that Michelle Pedroza moved to Nevada to be closer to her mother. We’re not completely sure about the timing, but we know for certain that she left a few items there at the house in California.

Maybe she forgot the items. Maybe she left them on the back bumper while she was packing up the car, and forgot that they were there when she drove off.

That happened to my family once. My mom left my sister’s shoes on the top of the station wagon and didn’t realize that they were there until she and my dad heard a few thumps on the roof of the car when we got up to 60 and saw the shoes go flying off onto the interstate.

So it does happen to otherwise normal people. Forgetting things, I mean.

Michelle Pedroza has a child, a little 18-month-old girl. She didn’t forget the little girl, so don’t worry about that. Don’t get all tense on me. According to relatives, the little girl is just fine, despite being born in Michelle’s mother’s bathtub because Michelle didn’t realize that she hadn’t just gotten fatter, that she was, in fact, pregnant.

But the police think that Michelle Pedroza might have had another child. And they think that Michelle kind of left the other child behind, along with a blanket and some baby clothing.

On the 31st of March, 2008, two relatives of Michelle Pedroza, one of whom is named Rosa Pedroza, realized that Michelle may have forgotten something when they got up in the morning, looked outside at the house Michelle used to live in and saw a dog (a pit bull, of course) playing with what they thought was a doll or a rabbit. Going outside at about 10 in the morning, shortly after breakfast, the ladies went to clean the yard a bit and find out what they had seen the dog playing with.

The women found the dog, standing next to a baby’s blanket, some baby’s clothing and a badly decomposed baby that looked like the pit bull had been using it as a chew toy for quite some time.

The police were called, arrived and verified that yes, indeed, the baby was quite dead. An autopsy confirmed that the baby was dead, but really couldn’t figure out how long the baby had been dead or why the baby was dead.

The police had other questions on their mind as well, such as: “whose baby was it?”

This is the point in the story where everyone looks at Michelle Pedroza out of the corner of their eye and kind of scoots their chair away from her and there’s this awkward silence that seems to drag on and on while Michelle crosses her stubby little arms and says, “What?”

The authorities decided that Michelle Pedroza might have known about the baby, considering that it was her house that the baby’s remains had been found at. An arrest warrant was issued and served by U.S. Marshalls on the 3rd of April, 2008 at about 10:30 in the evening. Michelle decided to be uncooperative, barricading herself inside her mom’s house for more than an hour while authorities yelled out things like:

Let us in. We are not going to leave. We are the police.

Don’t worry, it all ended peacefully, without any tear gas. Michelle Pedroza was arrested and put in jail for a while. No charges were brought against her, however, and she was released on the 8th of April, 2008.

According to Daniel Aikin, a supervising deputy coroner at the Orange County coroner’s office, they’d like to get some of Michelle Pedroza’s DNA so that it can be compared with DNA samples taken from the dead baby. Once that happens…who knows?

Michelle Pedroza, as of the time of this writing, is free.

I’d say her actions definitely appear those of a guilty person. Also, given her background and the timing, I’d say it makes her very highly suspect.

You have to be non-human to ignore/abandon a baby. There’s just no excuse for it.

    2. LilMissSunshine says:

someone should have given her fat ass for the pittbull to chew on…

    3. Nissa says:

If she did it, she does deserve hell.

    4. jackofalltrades says:

What a fat loaf. Fat, lazy, and pregnant is no way to go through life.

    5. CDR says:

damn shame the pit bull will probably be blamed more than her.

me – owner of obident, trained, femal e, nice pit bull. but STILL wouldnt let children be near her unsupervised or in some cases at all.

    6. penny says:

CDR- you have the right idea! Pitt bulls are for responsible pet owners, and then you have to be aware that bad things can still happen.

    7. Kenny says:

does her family not know if she had a child before? Someone had to see her with a baby at some point in time, I mean…apparently she had a baby blanket and baby clothes so someone must have known.

    8. TurtleMania says:

      Mommy…I had a dream.

I dreamed mommy, that the second me was nine months inside your womb. This time mommy, you knew I was there because you felt my hands and feet press against your tummy. I was eager to get outside. I waited nine months for something I will treasure forever. Mommy, I knew someday the first me and you were inseparable. I knew we would meet again, and be together forever. A vision told me…the second me would host the union. Thusly, the dream had to materialize and come true. This dream, mommy, defined my first existence.

I was all too eager to greet the new world and embrace our destiny. On October 13th, I burst from your womb. I heard you shrill in pain! You greeted me at last – you acknowledged me. It brought my heart warmness. Excited to be independent, I ripped at the bond that bound us together. In earnest, I pulled several organs from your body. You acknowledged me again! I love getting attention from my mommy. My eyes began to swell with tears of joy. Mommy I knew this would be a wonderful day – at last.

Elated you must be of my presence; you had convulsions and seemed to be a bit shocked. Mommy relax, I will make this worthwhile for us. It was a bit odd, because the slime and plasma that coated my body disappeared and was now all over you. You were like me, wearing your birthday suit!

This was the time, mommy. I must join you with my first self. With the raise of my tiny hand, a hungry pack of wolves appeared. They devoured the organs that were resting beside you. The craving for a sweet, delicate sauce became overwhelming; the wolves savored the slime on your body. They slurped at you and seemed to remove every bit of plasma from your flesh. Mommy, now they are ready to have the main course. I gleefully watched them tear apart your skin and gnawed at your flesh and tendons. It was a sight to see! After the wolves had their fill, they vanished. You weren’t with me anymore, mommy.
You joined my first self. One day all of us will be a family together again. That was my dream, mommy.

That…is creepy. Well-written and descriptive…wow…I’ve read horror stories that haven’t made my skin crawl that bad. All I can say now is, well done! :)

Oh, and btw, October 13 is the due date for my baby. No joke:)

Have any sperm banks been robbed lately?
I do not know how many Alabama Slammers it would take before shes’ beautiful….

    10. SC says:

I’m going to have to reserve my judgment for this one. Evidence and her suspicious behavior point to her, yes, but until it can be proven that it was her baby, I just can’t feel good about voting either way. (Even though the poll is just that, a poll and it really won’t decide anything. Still.)

I will say that if and when they get the DNA from her and test it against that poor baby, if the baby turns out to be hers, then yes, she deserves hell. And jail in the meantime. I just hope the poor little thing was dead before that dog got a hold of it. (How gruesome!) Not that I’m blaming the dog, mind you. The dog didn’t know any better. That’s why it’s never a good idea to leave any baby alone with an animal. (Of course, everyone who frequents this blog knows that, but it still warrants saying.)

If it turns out the baby did not belong to this woman and she has no idea where it came from, then of course, she’s more than likely innocent and they need to find the real monster who left this poor innocent to die. Either way, someone’s going to hell for this.

    11. glorybug says:

I used to hate when I went to work and my dog would get into the garbage and make a big mess. Mostly things like coffee grounds and banana peels, though.

Because I never threw my dead babies in the trash. It seems only common sense to toss your dead babies where the dog can’t get to them, unless you LIKE cleaning up that kind of mess.

TurtleMania- Eek! That imagery was disturbing. But not as disturbing as the image of a dog playing with a dead baby.

What’s up with all these women who kill their kids not realizing they’re pregnant till a baby falls out from between their legs? Gas? My ass. Gas doesn’t poke you in the ribs, use your cervix for a trampoline at 3am, or HICCUP for hours at a time. Gas doesn’t turn your innie navel into an outie, doesn’t make your breasts bigger than your head, or make a vegetarian crave tunafish and cream-of-wheat. Not only did I know both times there was a baby in my uterus, but I could already get a sense of their personality. I have a feeling that women who refuse to connect with their children in utero are more likely to abuse those children after they’re born.

SC- you should get a medal for actually understanding that the votes here don’t really result in people going to hell.

      c

      • SC says:

Ah, so they now make medals for overstating the obvious? ;) Ha, ha!

Seriously though, I think the voting hell or no hell is one of the appeals this blog holds for me. Although I don’t believe in hell as a physical place (more like a temporary state of mind that we all go through at one point or another) I do get some satisfaction in voting “hell” for someone who has done something truly heinous. Sometimes the world just seems so unbalanced, so unjust and it seems like there’s nothing that law-abiding citizens can do about it. The feeling of helplessness is downright depressing! So in that light, it’s very therapeutic to just pretend for a moment that hell is a real place and a mouseclick can send some deserving scumbag there.

Oh, and I had to laugh at your comments about women who don’t know they’re pregnant until the baby is born. Funny because they’re all true. (Especially the comment about the breasts bigger than the head. I’m there right now. Owwww…) I realized I was pregnant during the first week of pregnancy, so I don’t understand these people, either. Maybe we’re not supposed to.

    12. KILL THE FATSO says:

She deserves hell if for nothing else being a fat ugly pissmop bitch.

      • DualDenz says:

granted, now post a picture of yourself so we can make fun of you too…..
        what’s your major malfunction?

can’t send her to hell yet myself, lack of evidence, innocent ’till proven guilty and all.

    13. dark marcsun says:

I’m assuming that somewhere along the drive she had a thought similar to this: “Let’s see…suitcase? Check! Flowbie? Check! Tshirt given to me by a boyfriend I had in the 11th grade, complete with pit stains? Check! Box of Mallowmars? Check? Abdominizer still in the box? Check! Dead baby? Ah, crap, I knew I forgot something!”

    14. lala says:

sick ¬¬ poor baby u.u then they say bad things about doggies… how would they know… it’s her fault!

    15. Kahne says:

I love my “pitt bulls”. Its comments like that that give the breed a bad name. Know what you’re talking about. ANY dog will roll around on something decomposing. Its their instinct to roll in strong smelling things to cover up their own smell. Anyone who owns a dog knows this. I have a farm, and my little mutt is the worst for rolling in everything from horse and cow poop, to ANYTHING dead he finds in the woods. “Pitt bulls” make some of the best pets and rank way below most of the smaller breeds on the agression scale. They even rank below beloved “labs”. If this site is supposedly all about research, look it up, if you are too lazy, I will be glad to provide you with the necessary facts. You have my email. If these dogs are so horrible, why did the nyfd use them as their original rescue dogs? Why were they used in WWII as loyal companions to the soldiers, and used to run messages from the front lines back to the bases? Even the beloved “petey” from the little rascals was one of these “vicious creatures”. There is even a blue pitt puppy being used in a current old navy ad. People you will see in hell are ignorant fools who torture and starve their dogs, torment them endlesslly, deny them love and physical contact, and after all of that place them in a ring to fight for their life. My mother was raised with the breed, as was I, and I have raised my daughter with them as well. I am an assistant with a local rescue, and we have snuck into some dangerous places in the middle of the night to rescue some half starved, beaten beyond belief babies.

Please, stop your biased comments until you do some legitimate, unbiased research.

      • sickened says:

Well put :). I don’t even own a Pit Bull but your right dogs are dogs period.

      • RealityCheck says:

I don’t think anyone is blaming the dog.

      • SpaceElvis says:

i think you need to re-read the story, or perhaps for the first time. then read all the posts. then perhaps you will see why your little rant was a total waste of time. the dogs are not being blamed. it is all on the goofy chick

    16. sickened says:

I am COMPLETELY leaning on she did it. Or at least knew about it. How could she have NOT noticed her dog playing with a dead baby regardless if it was hers or not? Come ON!

And I too agree with TurtleMania. You feel the baby moving kicking your bladder, squirming around at of course 2a.m., and if for some unGodly reason she did not have her basic maternal instinct you sure as HELL feel those contractions and she should have gone to the hospital then! My guess is it’s her baby and DNA will prove it. Just to many coincidences ESPECIALLY since she has a history of being pregnant and hiding it or “not knowing”.

    17. Pam says:

It’s funny how people will point their fingers at her and even at the dog and completely exclude the other party who is responsible here. The guy who got her pregnant in the first place! She’ll pay the price for what she’s done but the dude will undoubtedly continue to impregnate lacking in self respect young women and populate the earth with his offspring with nary a nick on his conscience. In my eyes he deserves a space on this page more than she does.

      • penny says:

Pam – we really dont know anything about the dad. No information was given. For all we know, she doesn’t even know.

      • SpaceElvis says:

so knocking someone up is as bad as killing a kid? that is the oddest thing anyone has posted here in a while. and that is saying something

    18. RealityCheck says:

      Grow up.
Girls and women are responsible for getting pregnant. Boys and men are stupid for not using a condom.
Ignorance is no excuse for either party.
Yet, leaving a newborn behind for the dog to partake in, is a serious offense against all of humanity.

    19. glorybug says:

Kahne- It would be helpful when people rush in defense of Pit Bulls, if they would at least spell it correctly, since one of the preconceptions about the dogs and their owners are that they aren’t very intelligent.

Most of the dogs you cite are actually American Pit Bull Terriers, while most of the ‘Pits’ people generally talk about are not, though they all come from the Molasser/Mastiff lineage.

It also helps to be honest about some things- while the American Pit Bull Terrier was bred to be non-aggressive towards people, the majority of dogs that have attacked people were not. What most people consider to be a ‘Pit Bull’ is actually not, and it is quite common for those dogs to be aggressive towards people. The flaw in any law regulating or outlawing Pits is that it would come down to outlawing dogs who ‘appear’ to be Pits- and there are too many dog types/breeds that people confuse with Pits (Bullies) to be very accurate in pursuing. Since so many of the dogs are actually crosses with other breeds, some which are gentle, some which are aggressive, looks are no guarantee of the temperment of the dog. I have had a sweet Pit mix, and a mean purebred poodle who bit 3 people, both came from the SPCA.

It wouldn’t have mattered if the dog in this story had been a chihuahua- almost any dog will play with and roll around with something dead, even if it’s a baby. I can’t really see the importance of mentioning what breed the dog was in this story, unless it was alleged that the dog killed the baby.

What people should pay more attention to is that this POS not only left a dead baby behind, she also left a dog behind, who wasn’t dead. Yet.

Mean, cruel people (or as in this case, women) should not be allowed near children or animals. Or penises. They should be allowed to be around razor blades, ropes, guns, sleeping pills, and concrete blocks near lakes.

    20. Kahne says:

      Glorybug,

I happen to have a masters degree in nursing. All of my ‘pits’ or ‘pitts’ (seriously you are getting on my case about an extra t) are registered American Pit Bull Terriers. I am a member of several rescue groups, and everyone uses their own slang in regard to their bullies.

I became angry at the original post because of the writers snide “of course” after pit bull was written.

Do I fly to the defense of these loving animals? Yes I do. Am I ashamed if it? No I’m not.

I have traveled over several states in my free time to pick up bullies (sometimes staffodshire, sometimes american, somtimes sweet little mixes). I pick them up from people who get these babies by any means necessary, mostly legal, sometimes not, to get them to safety.

Many times I have cried over a baby so damaged that the only choice is to put him down. I take them in, rehab them if I can, and find them forever homes.

I write letters to lawmakers, post on websites, and participate in rallies. If I can change one person’s mind about them, I might find a home for one more.

My daughter has osteoperosis due to celiac disease. She can’t do much. She can play with puppies, bottle feed them, love them. It brings us joy to help them.

With my medical background, I am in a unique position to help them.

And before you get on me about not helping people, I work for a rural health clinic, and help humans five days a week.

I do not care if people help animals, other people, or the environment. I feel everyone should find a passion and use it to make our world a better place.

I’m not trying to preach from a soapbox here, but frankly you insulted my intelligence. I didn’t appreciate it. I am fully aware of the different breeds, cross breeds, and bully mixes.

So, I hope you feel good about yourself.

I would not hesitate to have one put down if it showed the slightest agression toward a human. In the back of my seven beautiful acres, there is an island between the lake and a creek that border my property. We bury the ashes of the babies there, where they can finally have some peace.

If you are so educated about the breed, you should help educate others.

    21. glorybug says:

You may be quite educated regarding Bullies, but my point was that yes, mispelling their name doesn’t promote the idea of intelligent people owning Pits. I like most Pits, and some of the Pit mixes. The fact is, they are often associated with uneducated, unintelligent, cruel people, so I think anyone promoting their good nature should present themselves in the best way possible.

Since you know so much about the breeds, you should know that most violence attributed to their breeds is committed by mixes or other misidentified breeds.

And, I too questioned the need to identify the breed of dog in this story, as it appeared the dog found the baby, and had not attacked or killed it themselves. I thought the ‘of course’ was inflammitory in that context.

Looking back, and considering that the POS apparently left the dog behind, it may be relevant that the dog was a Pit- if for no other reason than that many people who own Pits or mixes are cruel to them, abuse them, and abandon them at a higher rate than most other breeds. Being neglected, abused and abandoned makes it that much harder to be adopted out of a shelter later, which is why so many shelters now have ‘no Pits’ rules. It’s sad. I think any other breed that was as mistreated as Pit-looking breeds are would result in the perception of that breed being dangerous, also. In my town, there’s tons of Pits- mostly owned by gangbangers. They crop their ears down to nothing, and swagger down the streets letting their obviously abused animals intimidate other people/animals. It’s a shame, because bullies generally start off with very sweet natures.
      ______________

“If you are so educated about the breed, you should help educate others.”

I was under the impression that that was exactly what I was doing. I champion and advocate for all animals, not just dogs, and not just Pits. I also try to educate people about cows, pigs, chickens, and other animals besides companion animals.

If Pits are your main passion and cause, I’m glad. They need supporters. I’d still ask that when you are educating others about them, that you spell their name correctly first. And then maybe later explain your use of a nickname for them.
