It Looks Like Jean Pierre Orlewicz Is Guilty
After 12 hours of deliberations over a period of two days, the jury returned a verdict of guilty on the 16th of April, 2008 for 18-year-old Jean Pierre Orlewicz. It is possible that they saw that the poll on People You’ll See In Hell revealed the fact that most respondents believed that Alexander James Letkemann and Jean Pierre Orlewicz deserved Hell, by about a 5 to 1 ratio.
Jean Pierre will, in all likelihood, spend the rest of his life in prison for his role in the murder of 26-year-old Daniel Sorensen.
Alexander Letkemann took a plea deal and pled guilty on the 1st of April, 2008 to second-degree murder in exchange for his testimony against Jean Pierre. Alexander Letkemann testified that Jean Pierre Orlewicz lured Daniel Sorensen to his grandfather’s home and jumped him from behind when they walked into the garage. He said Jean Pierre Orlewicz stabbed Sorensen to death and then decapitated him with a hack saw.
According to Alexander Letkemann, the only motive for the murder was that Jean Pierre was owed money by Daniel Sorenson and that Sorenson had his gun on him. Alexander Letkemann told the jury that he helped clean up the scene to clear a $100 debt to Orlewicz.
Jean Pierre Orlewicz had a different story when he took the stand in his own defense. According to Orlewicz, he stabbed Sorenson after the 250+ pound bouncer pointed a gun at him. Jean Pierre told the courtroom that he decapitated Sorensen and burned his fingers to hide his identity because he feared Sorensen had mobster relatives who would come after him.
Alexander Letkemann faces 20 to 30 years in prison. We will all find out what Letkemann’s fate will be when he is sentenced on the 23rd of April, 2008.

Good news.
I hope one day we can start killing everyone on death row. Each day we’d get a killing especially for the people we know for sure did the crime. Research the others to make sure they aren’t innocent. If they can’t bail on DNA, then kill them too.
I’m tired of my tax dollars being used for these shits. With gas prices soaring and all, we need a balance. Hell, I wouldn’t mind paying extreme gas prices if they’d kill these POS one by one.

As I have stated so many times, too many resources are being spent on death row inmates.
Once there is 100% guilt established, fry them.
While it may only be a drop in the bucket, we have to start somewhere.

the prosecutor was right about one thing to me it’s that he had a cellphone if it was self-defense he should have called the police and told that he was trying to kill him and alex letkemann!

Hi Guys – I suggest we start ignoring all the JP Orlewicz supporters. Or should I say, the ONE JP Orlewicz supporter. Here’s a list of all the people who think he’s innocent and either:

I apologize for not catching on to this sooner. Basically this means that JP has about 2 people who actually think he’s worth supporting. What a fucking loser. I’ve tagged every comment I could find with the a note ID’ing them as member’s of JP’s Sockpuppet Brigade in show that there aren’t nearly as many people supporting JP Orlewicz as this dickhead would like us to believe.
You might have to do an update to this story. JP Orlewicz was granted a new trial, by a Judge who ruled that his mental stability should have been admitted into evidence during his trial.
The prosecution is appealing the Judge’s ruling..
What a waste of tax payer money. This guy knew right from wrong – that is why he used a blow torch to get rid of Sorensen’s fingerprints and cut off his head, so he couldn’t be identified via dental records.
I don’t know if the Judge in this case was appointed or voted into office but people in Michigan should take notice that this man is wasting their tax payer money on a guy SOOOOOO guilty it isn’t even funny.
This makes me sick.. I feel awful for Dans family ~ to have to go through this trial again.
He really did it, huh? I smelled a rat from this judge the moment he closed the hearings to the public – even Dan’s parents were barred from the proceedings. That’s just fine. The little cocksucker is going to get convicted all over again. The bottom line is none of the evidence from the first trial has changed, and the jury won’t be fooled by this hired gun psychologist, plus the state will be well prepared to rebut anything he has to say.
You’re absolutely right Lanie, it is a damn shame that two people as decent and classy as Dan’s parents are going to be forced to relive the trial again. I guess I’m going to have to do a front page update on this – God, I hate announcing bad news.
Yup, max.. I just read the new update discussing this, so I will respond further over there. I watched every minute of this trial and I believe the Orlewicz is as guilty as they come. You’re so right about Dan’s parents.. what beautiful, forgiving, awesome people. They were so graceful and respectful in a time when 99% of people would have gone ballistic. They should have never had to bury a son in this manner.. and to put them through this again is just unconscionable! Going to read the responses in the “update” thread..
