Motherhood is hard. Some females are better suited for it than others. Instinctual feelings and urges drive some females to be really, really good mothers.
Sometimes, as with the case of 24-year-old Sofia Nino here, motherhood instincts do not exactly manifest themselves.
So often on People You’ll See In Hell, you’ll read about mothers who drown their kids, mothers who starve their kids to death, mothers who drive other kids to suicide…and now we have Sofia Nino.
For some time now, especially over the last two weeks leading up to the 26th of May, 2008, neighbors had noticed that life in the trailer that Sofia Nino, her 27-year-old boyfriend and their four children lived in was getting a little rough. Neighbors described a chaotic living situation, with lots of yelling, lots of fighting and children who were rarely allowed to play outside.
The fighting was getting so intense lately that Sofia Nino and her boyfriend weren’t restricting the fighting to inside the trailer, but were starting to bring the fighting outside where everyone could see. This is apparently a breach of trailer-park etiquette. Stress is no excuse for breaking trailer-park etiquette.
On the night of the 26th of May, 2008, Sofia Nino was getting the kids, including her 3-year-old son, Aziriah Nino, ready for bed.
For some reason, Aziriah had an accident during the whole “getting to bed” process. He peed in his clothes.
Sofia Nino, who will not be winning the Nobel Peace prize this year, noticed that her son had urinated in his clothes and…well…got a little upset. Sofia Nino punched Aziriah on the back of his head, grabbed him by the arm and dragged the boy into the bathroom, where the rest of the family had the delightful joy of listening to Sofia beat the living hell out of her boy.
Aziriah Nino screamed, as 3-year-olds do when they’re being beaten.
At some point, once her anger abated somewhat, Sofia Nino left her son standing naked in the bathroom. According to witnesses, who would logically be Sofia Nino’s 6-year-old son and her live-in boyfriend, Aziriah Nino was shaking uncontrollably and crying.
Well, the boy eventually settled down enough to be dressed again and put to bed.
The blanket of night enveloped the trailer park until a new day dawned over that happy patch of land once more. Birds chirped, drunks burped, cats meowed, dogs barked, and 3-year-old Aziriah Nino was in his bed, unresponsive.
The boyfriend noticed Aziriah’s state and called emergency services.
Aziriah Nino was rushed to a local emergency room where he was initially stabilized, then taken to the Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee where he became not-so-stabilized. Aziriah Nino died on the 28th of May, 2008 from what an autopsy revealed was a subdural hematoma likely caused by blunt-force trauma to the head. Compounding the child’s state was the fact that he was covered with bruises. Bruises were found on both Aziriah’s ears, on both cheeks, on his back, on the front of his neck, on his legs and on the inside of his thighs.
The pain was probably the cause of the uncontrollable shaking and the crying that Aziriah displayed after Sofia Nino beat the crap out of him.
Yes, Sofia Nino beat her 3-year-old son to death. She beat him to death because he had an accident in his pants on his way to bed that night, which is a perfectly good reason to inflict pain on another human being.
If you’re a dominatrix being paid to do it, that is.
Now, admin has a 3-year-old son who is going to be four in August. When the boy was going on three, it was decided that he would learn how to use the toilet. Eventually, the training took, but if admin beat that boy every time the kid peed somewhere he shouldn’t have, the little guy would be a pulpy paste somewhere on the floor. Hell, admin’s kid even peed on the family dog, which makes everyone but the dog and admin (who had to clean it all up) laugh like crazy.
Admin’s son is, the last time he checked, still alive. He, like his father before him, has mastered the use of the toilet.
Aziriah Nino is dead and his last thoughts were probably that his mother hated him and that he was a horrible little boy that deserved to be beaten.
What makes you grind your teeth and scream at the sky is that this type of thing happens every night. The results aren’t usually the same and some of the beatings are lighter than others, of course, but the beatings happen. People who should not be parents beat and kick their kids for imagined failings, leaving bruises which heal and mental scars which do not.
Sofia Nino was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. She will not be bailed out anytime soon, as her bond was set at $5,000,000.

I am sure that they’ll keep her alive for a while - I am sure that this was not the first time she beat her son either. At some point she’ll be killed, maybe in about 3 years which would be just - 3 years og hell before the final fatal blow!

This made me cry at work, damn you!! This stupid bitch needs to ROT in hell. My son has a girlfriend who has 3 little ones, one of which is an almost-2-year-old little boy. Guess what he did the other day. His mom wasn’t fast enough to get him to the bathroom so he peed in my dog’s water bowl. I nearly peed MYSELF laughing!!!! I cried at work, too. I can’t believe this. But just like admin said - this happens daily. My daughter was 19 months old when she was trained. I took her to Target, she saw Hello Kitty panties and wanted them - so I bought them for her. No one was more surprised than I when she never had an accident. I thought “Eh, I’ll put them on her, but I KNOW she is going to wet them, and then we will put them away for another time.” But she never did. My son, on the other hand was 3 and a half before he was fully done with no accidents. I was like “Wow, you can say an 8 word sentence - and not one of them is Hey Mommy - I need to use the bathroom.” All it taught me was - when they are ready they are ready. Why did this woman have 4 children??? I only have 2 because I feel like I can give them the same amount of time, love, financial attention that I possibly can right now. She is not the only person on here that killed their baby for the unrealistic expectation that their son not pee their pants or bed every once in awhile. Or daughter for that matter. Yep, it broke my heart too. Makes me want to take all these poor kids in and show them what a real mommy is like. But then again, I think I’m a little too old to be a mommy again. hahhahaha. I enjoy my son’s girlfriend’s kids, but when they are gone, I’m like “whew I’m tired”!!! hahahah. To all the young mothers out there, be patient, love your kids and guess what, they will grow up to be great adults and love you a whole lot. I didn’t have much patience but my kids lived through it and I have awesome boys (young men actually) and beautiful young lady who love me like crazy. They overlooked some of my flaws and we are all alive and still a happy family to this day. All the headaches and heartaches will be worth it one day, I promise.
