Is that really Gloucester High School?

Looks like a mall that one would see along the interstate highway after passing a trailer park! That “Generica” look!

Anyway being from MA I had long ago stated that MA would become welfare and those serving those on welfare. WIth the local economy of Gloucester, welfare is probably becoming one of the top employers there as in some other communities.

My question – why with a skanky homeless man when there are so many boys who’d have done it for free or even treated them to a meal and a movie first?

Why not hook up with someone who might go somewhere in life than a total looser who’s proved himself to be a looser!

Dig deeper Massholes – this is going to cost you all. I am sure that the only ral winner is going to be the homelss man who is going to get
      1. Free room & board
      2. Free college education or vocational training
      3. Some real good memories

      The mothers loose
      1. Like these girls are goiibg to be friends forever? No
      2. Have reduced their chance at meeting a decent man – because he’ll more than likely want to leave them because of their past.

      Children
      1. Start off life on welfare
      2. No chance that they’ll have a father figure
      3. Real daddy is such a looser than “deadbeat” would be an upgrade…..

      So this one’s on going…

    2. Meaghan says:

It’s sad and disgusting. I think we ought to give those girls each one of those demanding baby dolls, you know the ones that cry and poop and need to be fed and stuff just like real babies. Let them each have one of those for two weeks and I think the “pregnancy pact” would dissolve on its own.

      • Kenny says:

you do understand that wouldn’t matter? They were doing this so they could be on welfare and basically live off the gov’t. A demanding baby doll doesn’t scream when you take teh batteries out or remove it’s speaker, and a demanding baby doesn’t yell when you bash it’s skull in or smother it…ask some of teh ladies highlighted on this very site

        • Meaghan says:

Doesn’t welfare only last for five years these days? I’ve never been on it so I don’t know for sure.

          • Sarah says:

it depends on what type and were you are. There are also plenty of ways around it. (ask my sister).

Today someone said “they were about to take my benefits away and then i got pregnant, thank god.” Other things I’ve heard from people “I loved welfare, i had so much more money than i do now that i have a job. I might quit.”

    3. Amanda says:

totally f’ed up, man, totally f’ed up! I had my kids WAY too young, at 21 & 23. But 15 & 16? Holy SHIT Batman, that’s just wrong. Now, they’ll never experience a nightclub, or the REAL party on a 21st birthday, or probably even graduation. They can never blow that first hard earned paycheck on themselves. You have to buy diapers and wipes to wipe poopy asses that just-don’t-stop-POOPING! Where are these girls’ parents or guardians? What the hell are THEY thinking? Myself, personally, I’ll put my kids at the first McD’s to get a job, drop ‘em at the closest bank to save that money, and bet your ASS your life is over, you’re now a parent. i hope these dumbass girls’ parents aren’t going to go “Maury” on us and take responsibility for these grandbabies. What is WRONG WITH PEOPLE?! We should make the world in two—normal, and fucked up trash. Maybe 3, because there’s a whole other part of the worls that’s still primal–we’ll leave them alone, they’re doing ok!

      • Fred says:

This happened in MA – the welfare is pretty good there. Odds are that these girls will “graduate” to the next phase and get “their own places” (which the taxpayers in the Commonpoor of MA will pay for) and continur to use the children as meal tickets.
These “Money Making Moms” or “Profiting Parents” may get booyfriends or other siblings or friends to live in “their” apartments – renting out rooms, this a few extra $$$ will be made as the taxpayers of MA are paying for this “rooming house” while the receipiant will be keeping any profits.
Some may even sell the baby formula or atleast part of it.
These girls, quite immature, when 18 will be treated like adults by the state.

For those who believe in God, say a prayer for the mothers, the children and the soon to be grandparents. The situation started bad, but with enough love & patience and other resources good is still a viable outcome – not as good as if they waited, but these babies need not be doomed to the slums and abuse.

    4. Dee says:

I think these dumbasses should be denied welfare just for their stupidity. I think any teenager who gets her dumb ass pregnant when there are so many ways to prevent it should live off their parents who did not raise them with enough sense to keep their legs closed. Why should I have to work and pay taxes to take care of a bunch of tramps who raise their kids to live off the system as they have. I used to work in a restaurant across the street from a beach that was frequented by welfare rats and their spawn and a customer once asked me “doesn’t it bother you to be working while they are out there enjoying the beach?”. My response was “What bothers me is BECAUSE I am in here working they can be out there enjoying the beach.” Pretty good, I and my husband have to work hard for what we have and struggle to get by and can’t get any help from anyone for one reason or another and these little dumbasses with no other talent but spreading their legs get supported off the taxes I work hard to pay. And the kicker, most of them treat their children like the little “meal tickets” they were meant to be. BTW, I am from Massachusetts too, I know jobs are tough to find here, but I would rather work at McD’s than live off the system. But hey, they are too good for that, but not too good to accept money for being a tramp. Not much better than being a hooker for the state.

      • Fred says:

In the early 1990′s I was working for Bay State Gas in the Springfield area when there was a strike and management got to go outon the street. I accompanied a service tech and in many cases when the heat was out in a poor section that house / apartment was still way warmer than mine while a no heat in a rich section meant that I was going to freeze my ass off (most ofthe time here). I went into one obvious welfare apartment – it was in the 80′s or 90′s and they were still cold. The girls were wearing summer clothes as if they were at the beach. I had to take a few layers off…. I also went to one of the richest families in Springfield at the time, and the cold went thru my boots and up my legs…..

Dee – At this point it sounds likes the welfare “poor” are living better than the working poor. The welfare poor don’t have to go to work and that’s a huge savings lately – I am spending about $9 to $10 a day to get to work and back home – although I spend about $3 when I take the bus – but I end up loosing a lot of time to the bus (I do read while riding, but not at the speed as if I were elsewhere)

    5. Miwist says:

Bangin’ a whole bunch of 16 year old chicks?
Kinda serves as an inspiration for all homeless alcoholics. (Not 44 year old married white guys though. We’re outraged and disgusted. Seriously…….Really………Why would I lie?)

    6. Sarah says:

I read the article in the times. I’m not usually one to jump on the “blame the media” bandwagon. Especially when it’s clear the parenting here is less than ideal. That being said the minute i saw previews for Juno I had a feeling that something like this would happen. Teenage girls are *stupid*… I know i was one and those weren’t my proudest moments. I think we’ve normalized and accepted to much. It’s fine to have an in school nursery and support single parents just why be shocked when they are doing what you support?

    7. Jayni says:

Haha, you guys don’t even know..My fiances lil sister is 17 and she is on her fourth kid! She has given up the other three for adoption! She doesn’t know the babies dads except for the one she is pregnent with right now!

      • Meaghan says:

I have a friend whose biological mother had been pregnant, like, six or seven times by the age of fourteen. She had abortions each time, but the last time her parents told her they’d had enough and weren’t paying for any more. So she went to Catholic Charities and they said they’d pay for the medical expenses if she had the baby and gave it up for adoption. And thus, my friend Tim. His father, he says, was in his thirties and signed away his parental rights at a traffic stop.

    8. DualDenz says:

people don’t seem to realize that this is an unconfirmed story and some sources already point out that this may very well be a media wind-up over nothing.

      • Fred says:

Pact or no pact something is still wrong.

        • Sarah says:

I’m with you Fred. It’s not about the pact as much as the fact that in one year the teen pregnancy rate at this school quadrupled. This school has day care centers and is proud that they’re keeping mothers in school. There are young girls pushing strollers around this school as almost a fashion accessory. (per media accounts).

It’s great that people want to be accepting but when there are girls who have been pregnant multiple times before they are ready to graduate with no means to support these children and no future at hand. Then we need to think about what price we are paying for that acceptance. What good is being done for these children.

      • Dee says:

I am from Mass and I am pretty sure this story has been confirmed.

    9. wow, these girls are just plain out of their minds… but sadly teenage pregnancies are very very common

    10. Dee says:

Welfare is a pathetic joke. It is one thing if you need it, as a temporary help, but these people milk it like it is owed to them. They know just how to get everything out of it, they know every little trick.

This is Democrats at work people, pay attention. They say they are for the poor, that’s not the working poor, it’s the welfare poor. They want as many people dependent on them as possible.

My sister, who has worked continually since she was 15 was 29 and eight months pregnant with twins. She was still waitressing when the doctor told her she had to stop. She and her husband were split at the time, so she had no other choice but to go to welfare and apply. This was totally against her nature, but she also had a 4 year old at home to think about. But as soon as the twins were born and the doctor released her to go back to work, she went to the Welfare office and said thanks, but I am all set to go back to work now. Can you believe they actually tried to talk her out of it? She didn’t let them though and went back to work anyway.

      • Sarah says:

Dee, I’m sure there is some sort of child protective file on her now because she refused welfare. Seriously would not be surprised. Have you been to a welfare office?

It’s a fun place to visit. Hang out long enough and you can learn every single one of those tricks. Handed down from generation to generation.

My sister is the exact opposite of yours. When her oldest daughter turned 18, my sister marched her butt down to the welfare office and walked her through the application processes.

        • Dee says:

Your family must be so proud Sarah. I have one of those kinds of sisters too, and no we are not proud, as a matter of fact it has been 13 years at least since I spoke to her and that was at a funeral.

          • Sarah says:

ya know it’s not *just* that she abuses government funds and programs. She’s a bad person. My family, for a long time was really bleeding heart about the whole thing and would guilt trip me into helping too. When i stopped helping her and her children she told me i was a monster. I just saw the abuse everyday. I saw the hundreds of dollars going towards crap at the walmart and not food or bills.

    11. Glow says:

If the story is true – these girls are just dumb asses, in my opinion. It’s hard as hell to raise a child (when you are actually invested in raising a productive, functioning citizen) and harder still when you have no education, no job and no father for the child (whether you’re married to him or not). To delliberately set out to get pregnant when you can’t even provide for yourself is just stupid!

    12. KILL THE FATSO says:

LOL! That homeless man probally thought he died and gone to heaven!Free sex, booze & money!

    13. Lisa says:

Day cares at high schools- I’m kind of conflicted. Half of me feels like they’re catering to immaturity and irresponsibility-have a kid when you’re not ready and we’ll watch them while you go to class. On the other hand I feel bad because I know that people need to finish at least high school in order to have opportunities for better jobs post-high school and a baby makes that goal very difficult if not impossible to achieve.

I think the school would be better off committing their resources to a real sex education program (i.e. the kind that teaches about birth control) if they don’t already and preventing the necessity of there being a center in the first place but I guess reality dictates the existence of the day care center.

These girls who are deliberately getting pregnant in this pact are complete idiots and will learn the hard way that raising kids is difficult.

      • Sarah says:

these girls made their choices to limit their future opportunities. There were other girls in this high school who were mothers and told them how hard it was to have a baby.

I work with a girl who had to dropped out of high school her senior year because it wasn’t comfortable walking across campus while pregnant. She still can’t believe that they made a pregnant girl walk all that way. She was talking about short her mini skirt for a party this weekend was. She also has boyfriendS. I have money on her being pregnant again within 6 months.

Also, this idea that you *have* to finish high school for better job opportunities/future is a myth.

Schools don’t need to be teaching sex education. That’s what parents are for. *family* planning is a matter for the *family*.

        • Lisa says:

No I don’t expect schools to teach about sex they’re not required to but at the same time I don’t expect them to cater to students who had kids when they weren’t ready when the same school could have educated these same kids if not about contraception (as many conservatives feel that that encourages sex), at least about the difficulties of raising a child. The whole “the schools don’t need to be teaching about sex that’s what parents are for” attitude doesn’t really take into account that there are parents who will fail their kids by not educating them about sex or family planning and who support the idea of their kids being ignorant about these issues.

          • Dee says:

This has nothing to do with Family Planning. This was Family Planning, or at least Financial Planning. “How do you get someone to support you for nothing?” Hmmm. The concensous among teen sluts, you get some anonymous guy to impregnate you, you go on welfare, you get to live in your own apartment and you get a check every month from the government. So there is a little brat you have to “care” for? Whatever. Not like anyone is really going to check that you are doing that. What a freakin’ deal!!!!!

Makes me sick, if my daughter ever did this I would disown her. I have a niece who did precisely this and I have disowned her, and so has the rest of my family.

Welfare rats make me sick. I work a full time job and so does my husband, we wear clothes from WalMart because that is what is in our budget, and we drive economy cars. We work opposite shifts so that we do not have to pay for child care when the kids are not in school. We get out together maybe once a month.

Now drive through a project, the mothers are wearing designer clothes, the boyfriends/drug dealers are driving tricked out sports cars and the kids are wandering around with no supervision.

What the hell is wrong with our world? Best country in the world??? For some I guess.
