Mother’s Day has come and gone for the year, and we here at People You’ll See In Hell are betting that 47-year-old Susan Lorriane Lower didn’t get much in the way of Mother’s Day cards or gifts for this go-around.
Once you read about Susan Lower, you’ll probably agree that she won’t be getting any kind of notice on any of the Mother’s Days that she has remaining.
On the 27th of February, 2007, Susan Lorriane Lower was booked on three counts of criminal sexual conduct, six counts of a lewd act on a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The trial of Susan Lower began in June of 2008.
Her youngest son took the stand as a witness against her on the 25th of June, 2008.
It was revealed that in 2002, Susan Lorriane Lower began to sexually abuse her youngest boy, who was 5 at the time. According to testimony by the boy, who is now in middle school, Susan Lower would come into his room, wearing only a t-shirt, and touch his genitalia. When the boy asked his mother to stop touching him, Susan Lower told her son that he “had to obey” her and kept doing what she wanted to do.
The youngest son of Susan Lower told the jury how he had been sexually abused by both his mother and his older brother - who had, incidentally, also been sexually abused by Susan Lower. The child gave quite a few details, using dolls to show where and how he had been touched, giving specific times of day, times of the year and rooms in the house where the abuse happened.
A mention was also made by the child that at one point, his older brother sexually violated him while his mother watched and did nothing about it, which makes you want to scrub yourself with a Brillo pad or something.
Susan Lower continued to sexually abuse her youngest son for more than a year. She stopped after she found “a man” in 2005.
After her youngest son was finished with his testimony, the older son, who is now an adult, took the stand, despite being obviously and understandably upset.
While crying, he described the sexual abuse he suffered at his mother’s hands, and how he turned his rage towards his younger brother. The young man told the jury how his mother started abusing him in 1995, when he was eight years old. He testified that the details of the abuse were oh-so-similar to the sexual abuse that Susan Lower had inflicted on his younger brother.
While glaring at his mother and gritting his teeth, Susan Lower’s son told the court:
My mother sexually abused me, tortured me and gave me drugs.
Like his younger brother, he was able to give details about where and when the abuse happened, along with accounts of other events that happened around the same times.
He was very convincing. He also faces four charges of criminal sexual conduct for sexually abusing his younger brother.
The prosecutor introduced several letters to the court, letters that had been sent by Susan Lower to the older son while he was in jail. In those letters, Susan, who used a different name but had the same handwriting, told her oldest boy not to be a tattletale:
She told me not to be a tattletale, she told me she loved me, she told me she was talking to the pastor. It was just lies.
On the 26th of June, 2008, a jury returned a guilty verdict for Ms. Susan Lorriane Lower. She was convicted on a total of nine charges. She was convicted of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree and in the second degree. Susan Lower was hit with two counts of unlawful conduct toward a child and four counts of committing a lewd act upon a child. She was also convicted of one charge of disseminating obscene material to a minor.
Before Susan Lower’s sentence was handed down, a relative of the victims spoke to the court, telling everyone about how the families of the two boys were all working very hard to help the kids out and improve their lives:
I’m gonna get his life straightened out. They don’t have to be scared no more.
Susan Lower was sentenced to 30 years on the first degree criminal sexual conduct charge and given a consecutive 10-year sentence for the remaining charges.
The judge presiding over Susan Lower’s case, Circuit Court Judge Jack Early, told Susan Lower that he was convinced that she was guilty of the sexual assault charges against her:
The jury doesn’t believe you and I don’t believe you. I am convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that you did this and ruined one child’s life. … The facts are despicable. Once you’ve served your 30 years, you’ll have 10 more to do
To the end, Susan Lower refused to take responsibility for her actions, setting herself up for an appeal later on down the line:
All I can tell you is that none of this happened. It’s a mistake that I was found guilty. I have never hurt or abused them.
Judge Early, who seems to be a man of uncommon sense, just shook his head and asked Susan Lower why her two children would make up their stories (which neatly coincided with each other) and how they would be able to keep their stories straight when questioned by not one but several different interviewers. Then of course, there was the actual trial that the two children testified in…and the jury had to be satisfied as well.
I certainly hope all the People You’ll See In Hell readers will remember and keep in mind that evil comes in many forms. Sexual abuse happens, and the genesis of an illicit sexual encounter isn’t always what you would expect. Sexual abuse is not just initiated by the hands of dirty old men or creepy guys who stalk their victims online, instead usually starting in the kids’ own home - with a relative.

Every day we hear about mothers that don’t feed their children, and mothers that simply just let their children die, or kill them themselves, but not very often do you hear of a mother molesting her own children. Even though she may not have actually killed her children, they’re already dead to a certain extent. You carry that with you for the rest of your life, and these boys are obviously very wounded and disturbed by this. (Who wouldn’t be??)
Let’s just all hope that they’ll both be okay, and they’re POS mother will burn.

Not true. Diane Whalen of Tulsa, OK is being charged with felonies for fucking her dogs. The dogs may have to be put down because of the emotional trauma they endured by fucking her.
Her self-esteem must be pretty low if she’s fucking dogs, now it’s got to be even lower knowing dogs have bee so traumatized by seeing her naked they need to be killed.

Interesting name.. you certainly couldn’t get much lower than this perv. I feel a bit sorry for the older brother. If I am calculating the dates right, he was still a child (and victim) himself when he abused his younger brother. I don’t normally buy into the excuse that abusers were once abused themselves, but in this case, I might have trouble convicting the brother. Mom?
