This is 41-year-old Eugenia Tallman.
Eugenia, like most of the wonderful people who end up in the jail we work at, has a few problems. She’s hit a few roadblocks in her quest to become a productive member of society.
Eugenia Tallman has, in the past, been convicted of a few drug violations, a few automobile-related incidents and, in one instance, has been convicted of escaping from custody.
So she’s not someone you’d expect a whole lot from, in other words. I mean, other than popping babies out. Women who have a hard time maintaining relationships, maintaining jobs and maintaining sobriety always seem to have the easiest time in the world popping out crotchfruit, which isn’t particularly fair to upstanding women who have a hard time conceiving.
Two months ago, Eugenia Tallman managed to bring a baby boy into the world, with the help of her boyfriend, Gonzalo Galvin. This is normal. Women don’t have to be married now to have babies, that hasn’t be a prerequisite for women for a number of years, really.
And women are a lot more casual about keeping track of their babies now, too. At least, Eugenia Tallman is.
On the 3rd of July, 2008, Eugenia Tallman wandered out of her boyfriend’s home at about 11 at night. She wanted to drink a bit, but she had that flesh-colored anchor hanging around and couldn’t just leave it, so she took her baby along with her. And that’s good, really. Babies need experiences like that to grow and develop properly. A baby that doesn’t spend time watching mommy get blitzed isn’t really living.
Eugenia Tallman had a really good time for a few hours, coming back to the house at about 4 in the morning, toasted out of her gourd, sans baby.
Whoops.
Gonzalo Galvin, the buzz kill who had not been invited to the festivities, noticed that the baby wasn’t with her and asked where his boy was.
Eugenia…couldn’t remember.
Gonzalo Galvin, who is far too sensible to be stuck with Eugenia Tallman, immediately called the police, who arrived shortly. After a brief explanation of the situation, Gonzalo Galvin and the cops went out into the neighborhood and had a baby scavenger hunt.
The officers, who are good at baby hunting, came across the two-month-old boy first. He was alone, lying on the front steps of a home, which is pretty much a pedophile’s ultimate fantasy.
The baby was fine, which would possibly not have been the case if this had happened in January instead of July.
Eugenia Tallman was arrested and charged with child neglect and abandonment.

Actually a lot of people in prison work. I have a Mother Jone’s link below. This really stood out to me: “Boeing subcontractor MicroJet had prisoners cutting airplane components, paying $7 an hour for work that paid union wages of $30 on the outside.” So maybe the people blaming illegals for taking their jobs ought to blame our own prison system as well.

Last time I checked, you can find free condoms at EVERY women’s clinic, doctor’s office, and sometimes even schools. I’m also aware that you can receive FREE birth control at a women’s clinic. I get what you’re saying, but realistically not everyone does have the same opportunities. It’s good that you’ve apparently not had to deal with what decades of abuse can do to a person, but I can assure you, it doesn’t put a person on a level playing field. Of course I took a lot and I’m not out smoking crack, robbing liquor stores, and popping out litters of crack babies or anything. But some people can only take so much before they crack. Count how many times I wrote “crack.” Anyway, A lot of time I think people confuse reasons for behavior for excuses. A shitty childhood excuses nothing, but it does shed some light on a person’s behavior.

For the new readers here at PYSIH.com…let me just add that the phrases “Crotchfruit” and “flesh colored anchors” does not reflect teh writers at PYSIH’s opinion of kids. Honestly they love children very much (and not just because they go great with ketchup…j/k) and many have kids of their own they love very very much!!
That being said…Those are two of teh funniest phrases I have heard in a long time!!
This chick just needs some time away from her kid I think…like forever? It’s a nice change of pace to hear a father who at least pretends to care about his kid. If he really cared he would have noticed teh kid was gone as soon as he got home and found/got in touch with the bag before she could forget where she set the kid down. I’m just glad they found the boy before anything too bad happened.

Wow. I just read this today, and it completely reinforces my firm beliefs that in rare, VERY SPECIFIC circumstances, abortion/adoption and sterilization should be mandatory.
