Stanley Tippett has had a full life.
As a suspect.
On the 12th of June, 1999, when a 15-year-old girl named Sharmini Anandavel disappeared, a neighbor of hers – Stanley Tippett – stood out as a suspect in the eyes of the police. Sharmini had driven off to start her first day at a new job with a telemarketing company. She told her parents that Stanley, that friendly guy who often took her and other kids swimming, had given her an application for the job. When she didn’t return home that night, her mother went to Stanley’s apartment to see if he knew where her new job was – but Stanley was gone. He had moved out of the apartment two weeks prior.
Police launched a manhunt, but had no luck in finding the girl. They did find an application for a company called “Metro Search Unit” in Sharmini’s bedroom, but that company didn’t exist…
Detectives searched Stanley Tippett’s car. They searched his new apartment. They interviewed him several times. Despite all this attention, Stanley insisted on his innocence, giving interviews to the media and complaining about how the police were treating him:
They’re just wasting their time and wasting taxpayers’ money.
The girl’s skeletal remains were found a little more than four months after her disappearance. An examination of her remains revealed that she had been murdered, but there wasn’t enough evidence to charge anyone. Stanley Tippett went about his business.
In June of 2005, Stanley Tippett was convicted of harassing a 25-year-old female neighbor of his. He was given a suspended sentence.
On the 13th of October, 2005, Stanley approached a 21-year-old woman as she was standing in line to apply for a job at Wal-Mart. He told her that he was the manager of the local YMCA and was looking for potential employees. The YMCA was a good job, Stanley Tippett explained, paying $8 an hour and including health and dental benefits.
The next day, Stanley called her at home and invited her to come to his house to pick up a job application. She refused.
Two days later, the woman was in Taco Bell applying for a job when Stanley Tippett walked in and started to shout at her, confronting her about looking for work when he already had a job for her. He took her outside and gave her an application with a YMCA logo on it, then asked her for personal details, including her name, address and hobbies.
Three days later, the woman found a birthday card from Stanley Tippett at her front door.
Despite the really weird behavior of Mr. Tippett, the woman was generally positive about the whole situation.
For a few days.
Until she called the YMCA.
They set her straight, telling her that they hadn’t received an application, that there were no job openings there, and that they’d never heard of Stanley Tippett.
The woman called the police, who were there to arrest Stanley as he showed up at a planned meeting with his target. A police search of Stanley Tippett’s van turned up duct tape, rope, a jackknife, shears, measuring tape, orange pylons, a hammer and long plastic ties.
Interesting hobby there, Stanley.
Stanley Tippett was charged with criminal harassment and attempted kidnapping. He was convicted in December of that year and sentenced to two years in prison. At the sentencing, the judge said of Stanley Tippett:
You are a stalker. You are a predator.
It’s really too bad Stanley was a stalker and a predator with such a short sentence.
Stanley got out of prison and resumed his life.
Now, according to a neighbor of his, Stanley Tippett is married and has five children, who he apparently left alone one night in August of 2008.
At about 2 in the morning, while driving around on the 6th of August, 2008, Stanley Tippett came across a 12-year-old girl who was leaving a birthday party with a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl. Stanley Tippett, who was driving a red Ford Windstar, pulled up next to the group of girls and started up a conversation.
Now, despite the fact that this is pretty much the scenario that all those safety films show as being a possible abduction, the girls didn’t scream, throw rocks or use mace. Instead, somehow, the 12-year-old ended up inside the van of Stanley Tippett as it sped away.
Stanley Tippett drove more than 37 miles away, pulling into a forested area behind a high school. Once there, they got out and Stanley proceeded to sexually assault the girl.
This caused her to let loose a scream.
Her scream, which was described as “scary,” was heard by a neighbor, who reported it to the police.
Police pulled up to the van, but Stanley Tippett was already inside. He sped off as soon as he saw the cops had arrived. The police chased him for a while, but it was decided that the high speeds and the “undetermined nature of the call” were making the chase too dangerous and called it off. Returning to the scene, police found the girl, who was in tears and claiming to have been sexually assaulted.
The girl was taken to the hospital, where doctors treated her for her injuries.
Later that morning, police found the van that had been used in the assault. It had been abandoned, but records linked it to Stanley Tippett, who was found by police and arrested. He was charged with kidnapping and sexual assault.
As Stanley Tippett appeared at court on the 7th of August, 2008, his wife of 12 years – 35-year-old Natalie Tippett, talked to reporters as she held her three-month-old daughter Ashley. Natalie Tippett told reporters that while Stanley was gone that night, he had called her a number of times and told her that he had been abducted. Her husband had told her that he was in the hospital getting a blood transfusion and that he was lost and didn’t know where he was.
He didn’t mention no 12-year-old, just said he was abducted. He said that he was held at gunpoint and he was thrown in the van, his van got stolen, they went on a highway pursuit. They threw him out of the van and he blacked out, and he was walking along the railway tracks in Bowmanville.
Natalie told reporters that she didn’t know if she believed his story, but that she was focusing instead on their five children:
I’m concerned about my children. I’m going to focus on my kids, protect them first. I love him so much. I wish he’d just be good sometimes.
54-year-old Susan Anderson, from whose crotch Stanley Tippett sprung, has told the media that she is ashamed of her son and that she was only there to support Natalie and her children. According to Susan Anderson, Stanley had been lying to his family for several months about having an affair with another woman – a woman named “Felicia” who is pregnant with and expecting to give birth to Stanley’s baby. This has upset Stanley’s mother, who stated:
I’m considering him not my son. Lock him in jail and throw away the key. I’m an ashamed women. I’m ashamed to be his mother. It just makes me sick.
Also appearing at the courtroom was Margaret Cassidy – a friend of Stanley Tippett’s fiance. She has told the media that while Stanley was out that night, he called Felicia and told her that he had been carjacked.
Margaret Cassidy is also upset with Stanley:
He’s engaged to my friend Felicia. He’s engaged to her and he’s married. That, I just found out… that the wife he has isn’t his sister and that’s what he’s been telling us.
Margaret has told Felicia to not come to court and to refuse to have any further communication with Stanley Tippett.
Nina Witterveen, who lives right around the corner from the Tippett home, was sort of surprised that Stanley has been accused of all this. Kind of. Ever since that one time when he pulled the minivan near a local playground, though…

This incident took place at my daughters high school, literally 2 seconds from my residence! This has opened the eyes of ALL Courtice residents, and parents have taken more percaution in there childs lives! However what was this grandmother thinking letting her be out at a party at 1:30 a.m! As a Canadian citizen he as every right to walk the streets and be part of society. Yes he was convicted of priors, but he paid his debt to society as required by law. When was it ever a crime to have 5 or 6 kids, have several mistresses on the side all impregnated and receive welfare payments? This is the Canadian way and these are the basic human rights that people want when they reside in this country. If you don’t like it then move to Iraq or Iran. I do admit Grandma should of had better control over the girl, and that is no time to be out for a child. But we can’t lay the blame at Grandma’s feet as much as even I hate the Grandma in this. Yes, like all others, I have followed it in the news.
I just added up the dates. It says that Natalie Tippett has been married to Stanley for 12 years. That means that she was his wife when Sharmini went missing. She was his wife when he got the suspended sentence for harassing a woman. She was his wife when he went to jail for attempted kidnapping (with a suspiciously similar MO to Sharmini).
I am seriously thinking about retracting the positive things I said about her the other day.
The more I think about this, the creepier it makes me feel. Could she really believe that all of that was coincidence? Once he was jailed for the fake job ad thing, could she really have overlooked Sharmini? Could she really have DENIED that her husband was a murdering, raping sack of shit?

Mazzi, Natalie Tippett was right on camera for the local news, stating that she loves her dear husband, and is going to stand by him. That was, until a lady came running to the camera’s at the courthouse, where this news interview was going down, and said that Stanley is engaged to her friend Felicia Neals, and Felicia just found out a few days before that she was pregnant with his child. At that point, Natalie said that she didn’t want anything further to do with him.
So, to put it out on the line…she was going to stand by him, knowing that he abducted a 12 year old, and assaulted/raped her. But, when he was having an actual ‘affair’ on his wife (he apparently proposed to Felicia) she changed her mind.
In my opinion, Natalie is fucked in the head. She is definitely and enabler, and from what I’ve seen in the news, she appears to be a little ‘slow’ in the brain.

The baby had been brought to Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook and subsequently airlifted to the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s.
Mr. Tippett pleaded not guilty in February to second-degree murder charges, while a new arraignment date for Mr. Tippett is set for Feb. 4, 2009.
Mr. Tippett has also pleaded guilty to seven fraud charges, including forging documents and possessing stolen property. The CBC has reported the frauds involve phoney cheques and illegal credit card purchases.

There is a story from the mykawartha.com site saying that 10 year old Xena Anderson, who is the SISTER of Jeff Tippett was looking for help to fly to Newfoundland to see him, last christmas. The weird thing is that the article says that he (Jeff) has a rare form of HEART CANCER.
It’s the same family. There is a picture of Xena with her mother Susan, and the update mentions that he is guilty of fraud, forgeries and possessing stolen property, AND that he is accused of killing this baby – Tameron Rose, who was in his care, but is not related.

I think you should take a look at this Dept. Of Justice report on Sexual Violence in the Texas Prison System. It might convince you that Bubba isn’t a creation of Hollywood. The most interesting part for me was how often people in Protective Custody were “got at”, especially those who committed sexual assaults, and most especially for those who committed them against children.
No, I have to say that sexual assault by other prisoners is a very real threat for people in prison, and assholes like Stanley have the most to worry about.

Max, I work in the Canadian Correctional system…I wish canadian justice was more like the US, but we have to live with what we have in Canada. He will walk freely with the other 500 diddlers and rapehounds and get free “recess”, TV with movies, unlimited phone calls, and payed for not working like he does now so he can buy his pop and chips and chocolate bars every wednesday night at Canteen, then hang in his other diddler buddies cells playing playstation. Grandma has changed her story from the 12 year old having a midnight curfew to 10pm. Why? Was it misreported initially, or is the story “revised” so it sounds like a better home environment? The mom says later that she “wasn’t supposed to be out that late”, and whines that everyone is calling her a bad mother. Maybe that has something to do with the earlier curfew?
The victim was a “model” since age 3? Hello?? ***WARNING BUZZERS*** And (quoting grandma) “This child is a model. She’s not now”.?? That freaks me out – that her appearance seems to be a serious issue here. That would kind of be the very LAST thing on my list of concerns about the kid.

They just lose the capacity to understand emotions. This guy may have had a horrible past, and maybe that’s because of getting taunted about how he looks. It’s definitely possible, even probable. It’s what he is now that’s unforgivable. We don’t have to feel sympathy for the person he is today, we can hate him for what he is. Still, it definitely doesn’t hurt to understand where these people come from and try to prevent it from happening to more people. Yep, he looks different, people wonder why he ever got laid? There’s an ass for every seat in this world. Sometimes two, I guess. You have to look at who’s sleeping with him.

If this little 12 year old girl was at a party drinking underage (as some claim she was) could it be possible that she also indulged in some underage sex? And could it be that that is the reason why the DNA in the body fluid doesn’t match? Could it be that this little girl yelled too loudly, and Tippett fled the scene before getting his rocks off? Could it be that the little girl is to ashamed to admit that the body fluids were from some young guy at the party, before the incident even took place, so she’s claiming that they came from Tippett?

Three girls 12, 15, 16
The 12-year-old girl was out with two other girls and both girls have a longstanding history with the criminal legal system and prior breaches and charges.
They all consumed alcohol with no adult supervision and the grandmother or mother bought the alcohol.
The younger girl claimed sexual assault in the past.
Was there past CAS involvement and records of the complaints filed?
Mr. Tippet has had prior involvement with the criminal legal system.
The one young girl (witness for the crown) has made the same allegations in the past, she claimed that all men are perverts, and attempted to bring about charges against a businessperson because he would not give in to her demands.
She is not exactly a credible witness and yes, her past should be brought forward to establish the facts of the case.
The other girl is the daughter of a lawyer so classism becomes a factor.
The poverty class in Peterborough is always assumed guilty and not given a fair trial.
Court of public opinion is brought into play to create sensationalism.
The media and the citizens of Peterborough should not exploit the children of Mr. Tippet.
Take the case of Jenna Mellor and the mother accused of murder that lasted approx 11 years.
Her ex-father-in-law the grandfather business owner had the economic means to pursue the killer.
Socioeconomic class or social standing is always a factor in our legal system.
Taken care of in the public interest and it is not about justice.

1. Stanley Tippet has a criminal record for sexually harassing a 25 year-old girl. (That’s a fourth girl if you’re mathematically challenged, second girl mentioned in this article)
2. Stanley was materially linked to the first girl’s murder, but not materially found to be responsible for her death.
3. The first girl was lured with a false job application. The 21 year old girl (5th girl, third one mentioned in the article) was also being lured with a false job application. That’s an unlikely coincidence. Several unlikely coincidences, including Stanley skipping town just before a girl goes missing and is later found dead is a pattern. A predictable pattern.
4. Stanley was convicted of attempted kidnapping, a run in with the law. After this run-in with the law, Stanley is labeled a sexual predator. A sexual predator’s history in a case is more important than considerations of class warfare or underage drinking. A suspect in a murder case is in fact even less believable when you thrown in the earlier convictions.
5. Stanley lied to his wife to perfect an alibi. Why does an innocent man need an alibi?
6. You have no interest in the facts of this case. Please come clean and tell us your real interest. Who are you and how do you know Stanley? Do you know Stanley?
7. You must know that nothing you’ve said makes a lick of sense, but you tried to use words you could barely spell to try and blame the conviction of Stanley Tippet on Stanley’s poverty and the class differences between Stanley and his victims. DNA matching the 12-year-old girl was found on condoms in Stanley Tippett’s abandoned van, court heard this morning.
Two used condoms tied together were found on the floor of the van, behind the driver’s seat, court heard.
Durham Regional Police found the Peterborough girl half-naked behind Courtice Secondary School in the early morning hours of Aug. 6, 2008.
Tippett’s red van was found later that morning abandoned in an Oshawa neighbourhood about 6.5 kilometres from the high school.
The chances a random person would coincidentally share the 12-year-old’s DNA were estimated at 1 in 1.3 trillion, said Jennifer McLean, a forensic biologist for the Centre of Forensic Studies in Toronto.
“In my opinion, that’s a very unlikely coincidence,” McLean testified. “I was unable to exclude her as the source of the (DNA).”
None of Tippett’s DNA could be found on the girl’s clothes, items from the sexual assault kit or swabs taken from her body, McLean said.
Small samples of semen were located on the girl’s tank top coming from at least two different males, McLean said.
Neither male could be identified because the samples were too small to make a DNA comparison, McLean said.
It is possible that sperm cells could transfer from one item of clothing to another while being laundered, she said.

As the WHOLE story says, there were trace amounts of male sperm on the victim’s top, but the amounts were minute, and COULD have been transferred through laundering.
On the other hand, as the same story says (and you conveniently ignored), there were used condoms with the girl’s DNA on them found in Tippett’s car. Now, even a moron like yourself can look at those two pieces of evidence and assign a weight value to them. And even a moron such as yourself would have to come to the conclusion that the condoms evidence is much more incriminating that a few specks of something that could have gotten there innocently.
Now, add to those little bits, the fact that the victim’s friend testified that she put the 12 year old victim into the van with Tippett and he drove off with the girl. The friend testified that she TOLD Tippett specifically that the child was only 12 and he volunteered to take her home. This child then ended up raped, found near his car. Condoms with her DNA, her panties and her jeans were found in his car.
Tippett claims that he was carjacked, but a taxi driver testified that he picked Tippett up right near where the girl was found, right after the rape, and Tippett said that his buddy’s car had broken down. No mention of the carjacking… hmmmm….
So, how do you explain all that away? Those two minuscule traces of unknown DNA vs. all of that?

The Male DNA found appears to be around 100 cells. It was not enough for comparative analysis. Another sample containing about one cell was found on the girls underwear. Given that the typical male ejaculation has a varied amount of sperm in the sample, based upon many factors not least of which is the last time of ejaculation, a small sperm concentration is reasonable given Tippett’s Mistress and wife followed by two expended condoms.
So I am mistaken. There wasn’t enough sperm found to be directly linked to Stanley because the sample was too small to be tested.
But let’s see what else we can find here.

The cell phone calls he made to his wife, where he claims to be at his Uncle’s, prove he was actually near the scene of the crime.
The van contained two condoms with the girl’s DNA, but the van wasn’t with the girl after it sped off.
Stanley lied to his mistress, lied to the cab driver, lied to police and lied to his wife. While it is not illegal to lie it by the very demonstration of his lies removes his capacity to defend himself against an accusation with any credibility. Look up that word. Look up that reasoning. To believe his innocence is to call the police officer who saw him driving the van, the cab driver who drove him to his uncle’s, his wife and his mistress all liars and conspirators in his framing. Four people would have to share a motive in his innocence.
The cab driver and the police officer’s sworn testimony of what they saw is called direct evidence. It’s circumstantial to the crime, but two or more pieces of circumstantial evidence can become corroborating evidence. Each piece holds the other up when an attempt has been made to conceal a crime. Since concealing a crime is in and of itself a crime, then Stanley’s actions can be used to prove the crime of concealment. Since concealment, and proof that a crime has been committed can be used to convict someone of that crime, Stanley can be found guilty.
That’s not magic. That’s not even some sort of rail road of justice. That’s linear, logical thinking that any human with a trace of integrity or humanity can reach with a minimal amount of intelligence.
What is your vested interest in seeing Stanley go free? What is your vested interest in Stanley?
My interest is in the removal of a sexual predator. Stanley is a convicted sexual predator. The recidivism rates of sexual predation alone are cause enough to weigh in on Stanley’s eventual conviction. His removal from society is in my best interest and in the best interest of anyone who puts the needs and protection of children above those of their own relationships to criminals.

Stanley Tippett is guilty because:
1. The crime can be proven that the 12 year old girl was raped and kidnapped by someone who used two condoms with her DNA on it. She was also found in the bushes.
2. Stanley Tippett was seen fleeing the scene in his van by a police officer and later was assisted in his flight by a tax cab driver who positively identified him.
3. Stanley Tippett attempted to concoct not one but three unique alibis for his location and action that are all proven false by some aspect of the investigation and facts as presented. Not least of these is today’s testimony regarding the location and time of his phone calls and the corroborating testimony of both his mistress and wife.
4. When an alibi has been presented by the defense as factual, holes, falsehoods and the motive of those holes and falsehood may be presented as an evidence of guilt on the part of the accused.
That’s not a Straw Man.

5. Stanley is a convicted sexual predator. His involvement in prior crimes of a similar sexual motivation do present a pattern of behavior consistent with the criminal who would be capable of this crime. That’s a direct line to guilt.

Stanley Tippett broke down in tears in the witness box Friday as he told his version of the events leading to his Aug. 6, 2008 arrest.
The 33-year-old Peterborough man is in his second day on the stand, testifying he was carjacked by two armed men, whacked over the head with a tool from his own toolbox, robbed and dumped off somewhere near Hwy. 115, he believes.
“It was bleeding and I could feel it was wet,” the sobbing Mr. Tippett said. “I was scared, because I thought, these guys are going to kill me.”
A description of one of the carjackers matches a general description, given by a police officer, of the driver of Mr. Tippett’s van the night of the sexual assault and kidnapping of a 12-year-old Peterborough girl. The police officer earlier testified he has no doubt the man he saw driving the van was Mr. Tippett, who, as a result of a genetic disorder, has a distinctive appearance.
Mr. Tippett told court the van soon pulled over and he was taken into a headlock and tossed in a ditch, losing the battery from his hearing aid as he was thrown.
Earlier in his testimony, Mr. Tippett talked about numerous personal and medical issues, many related to Treachers Collins syndrome, the genetic disease from which he suffers. The disease affects the development of bones and other tissues in the face, causing a distinctive appearance. The syndrome can also impact hearing, causing malformation of the ear canals. He told of being an alcoholic from the time he was a teenager, having only a Grade 3 or 4 education, his lengthy criminal record and having to endure extensive speech therapy due to his deafness.
Clear and sounding confident in his testimony, Mr. Tippett, clad in the same grey shirt and black pants he’s worn for the trial’s entire 10 days, said he didn’t have a clue where he was when his armed assailants dumped him from the van. The pair continued on in his vehicle, out of sight, taking with them the 12-year-old girl Mr. Tippett is accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting, he said, as he testified in vivid detail.
“My head is hurting, and I’m trying to think, where am I; I’m trying to sort out which direction is what,” he said.
He walked until he could find a signal for his cellphone and as soon as he did, he called his wife, Natalie.
“Because of where we had cut off (on the highway) I thought maybe we were in the Newcastle area,” Mr. Tippett said.
He walked along railway tracks, eventually finding himself on Baseline Road between Bowmanville and Courtice. Mrs. Tippett called him a cab, which he met at Millwork Truss Centre.
He was picked up by Clarington cab driver Don Cheseboro, who earlier testified Mr. Tippett had told him he had been hitching a ride home from a night shift in Scarborough with a friend when the friend’s truck broke down with transmission problems. The friend went off with the tow truck, Mr. Cheseboro’s testimony went, and Mr. Tippett was left to find a way home.
But Mr. Tippett said he told the cabbie no such thing.
“I never said that,” he said, noting he had difficulty hearing Mr. Cheseboro, given the battery was missing from his hearing aid.
The cabbie took him to the area of Porter Road and Hwy. 115, where Mr. Tippett paid the more than $60 fare and walked to his uncle’s house nearby.
“The plan was, I was going to go to my uncle’s and get a hearing aid battery because I know I can’t call police if I can’t understand,” Mr. Tippett said.
Mr. Tippett has alluded to problems with police in the past, and indicated he didn’t want to take any chances on misunderstanding them when he called to report the carjacking.
About an hour after arriving at his uncle’s, Mr. Tippett called Peterborough police and reported the alleged crime against him.
Mr. Tippett is expected to remain on the stand much of Friday afternoon. The remainder of the trial will have to be postponed, as Justice Bruce Glass, who is hearing the case, has a jury trial beginning in Barrie on Monday. After numerous attempts to match the two lawyers’ and Justice Glass’s schedule, it appears the trial will be suspended until mid-December.
Mr. Tippett faces seven charges, including kidnapping and sexual assault, relating to an August 2008 incident in which the 12-year-old girl was taken from Peterborough, sexually assaulted and abandoned behind Courtice Secondary School.

Cellphone calls put Tippett in Durham, trial told
Cellphone calls made on Stanley Tippett’s phone place the accused kidnapper in Durham Region mere hours after a Peterborough girl was found behind Courtice Secondary School, court heard.
Tippett was arrested Aug. 6, 2008 after a 12-year-old girl was abducted in Peterborough and found half-naked behind the Courtice school.
Officers seized his cellphone upon his arrest.
Phone calls made on the phone can be linked to specific cellphone towers in specific locations, court heard.
Between 11:50 p.m. Aug. 5 and 1:02 a.m. Aug. 6, 2008, all phone calls on Tippett’s phone were either dialed or received in Peterborough, said Don Calpito, a Telus Mobility security investigator.
There was no activity on Tippett’s phone between 1:02 a.m. and 2:46 a.m., court heard.
But between 2:46 a.m. and 5:46 a.m. all calls to and from the phone were associated with towers in Durham Region, Calpito said.
Given the cellphone locations in Durham Region, the cellphone appeared to be moving from west to east during that time period, Calpito said.
“We are able to identify which tower was being used,” Calpito said.
The evidence bolsters the testimony of cab driver Don Cheseboro, who said he picked Tippett up in Bowmanville about 13 kilometres from where Tippett’s abandoned van was found in Oshawa.
It also further contradicts Tippett’s claims to police that he was carjacked in Peterborough and dropped off at Highway 115 near Tapley 1/4 Line.
Under cross-examination, Telus engineer Jeff McCarley said it would be impossible to pinpoint where a cellphone or its user was located during any call.
A cellphone doesn’t necessarily link to the closest cellphone tower, he said.
“We can’t say for certain,” McCarley said.
Between 2:46 a.m. and 5:46 a.m., Tippett’s phone activity occurred entirely in the Durham Region, but McCarley couldn’t say precisely where.
“Is there a possibility that the phone was in Peterborough (during that time),” Crown attorney Jim Hughes asked.
“No,” McCarley replied.
Tippett’s 54-year-old mother took the stand yesterday afternoon. Susan Anderson said her son called her the morning of the girl’s disappearance claiming he’d been carjacked.
“He said there was this girl in the middle of the road and she was drunk and he was trying to take her to the hospital,” Anderson said. “As soon as he stopped to help her, this man came out of nowhere with a gun.”
Anderson admitted she didn’t remember much of their conversation.
“He woke me up from deep sleep,” she said. “I was half asleep.”
City police forensic identification officer Mark Ballantine said he discovered two condoms tied together on the floor of Tippett’s van behind the driver’s seat.
The 12-year-old’s DNA was found on the condoms, court heard Tuesday.
Ballantine saw what appeared to be reddish vomit throughout the van.
“I’ve seen vomit and it looked like vomit to me,” he testified.
He noted the van’s passenger wheel was badly damaged.
“The tire was shredded off. It was down to the rim,” he said.
Hughes wrapped up most of his case yesterday afternoon, he said.
Tippett is expected to testify today as his lawyer Michael McLachlan begins his case.
“It’s not going to be a secret that I expect Mr. Tippett to testify,” he said.

This is a Canadian matter Dan, and I was under the impression that Canadian Crown judges tended to be fairly severe in their much more liberal than the United States justice system.
The lack of a Canadian death penalty is a complicated historical journey. The death penalty in Canada was hanging through 1961. That’s a fairly brutal form of the death penalty and has a lot of baggage associated with it. If this one shot system being employed in the States turns out to be a winner, perhaps that can be the basis of a new death penalty for Canada. Given that rape and assault would still not be considered capital crimes under Canadian law, I don’t see how this specifically applies.
As a final concession, I am a soft supporter of the Death Penalty in cases of child rape and even attempted murder. I wrestle with the problem that the death penalty should be a punishment for only the offense of murder, in as much as sometimes, after someone has raped someone, with the full intent to murder someone, they choose not to for fear of receiving the death penalty. There are two documented cases of this occurring, where the interviewee specifically states that the reason they did not kill their victims was because they “chickened out” for fear they would be caught, convicted and executed. In Stanley’s case, he could have killed this girl, as I believe he did another girl, earlier in his wicked career.

Anyway, I was simply just trying to reinforce the point that it’s WRONG to make fun of people, ESPECIALLY babies. You should never try to justify this. If someone I knew was a good person at heart said it, I would just tell them they shouldn’t say stuff like that. Don’t you want to set an example for young people? at the very least? Maybe you think you’re encouraging freedom of expression, but you’re actually just rewarding negative behavior and no self-control (which by the way can lead to murder and other crimes). In the case of Stanley, judge him for what he’s done, not for how he looks. He may or may not be a bad person (I don’t know), but he is a PERSON.
When someone get’s really angry, they sometimes do bad things. For example, they might swear or make fun of someone. Now, cursing and swearing have consequences on and offline. Since you’re not witnessing any of these consequences on this website, you think everything’s fine. However, certain people on this board have said some really disturbing things, violent things, and things that will no doubt have a major negative impact on the lives of the kids involved in this situation. Anyway, the ideas and suggested violence could evolve and innocent people could get hurt. Then YOU could say, well hey, we’re just a website and we have nothing to do with whatever happens elsewhere. Then it becomes a question of ethics. Is it ethical to NOT enforce certain behavioral guidelines?
So a young girl is murdered, and now some of us are talking about violence and death, and making fun of people with a birth defect….? Obviously not very constructive. This very website could be the first steps that lead to some other innocent person being killed. We can’t be so shortsighted. But you know, we ought to lighten up on the poor guy. Anyone who doesn’t realize that “christ” is more likely to be interpreted as a religious reference than a first name combined with a surname initial has bigger problems than excessive question-mark usage.
This is terrifying. I HATE to find cases where a tendency towards violence seems to be genetic, because it casts a stigma on the children of these people! It’s very sad. It’s not fair, but there’s nothing any of us can do about it. I’m hoping it’s environmental in this case.
I am in no way implying that everyone with Treacher Collins is dangerous, don’t bother going there and making yourself look… asinine. People can harbor more than one abnormality in their genes, and the appearance of one does not automatically dictate the appearance of the other. Treacher Collins is not the only genetic abnormality in the Tippett bloodline. I wonder what a bit of digging into the family history will unearth.
The worst part of this whole discussion is that SANTA IS A LIE, MAX! I thought for sure that christ had to be santa. Don’t ask me why, it was just a gut feeling that also seemed logical at the time. Why does something bad have to happen to me to oppose discrimination against people with a deformity?
Just to be clear, there is no relation or friendship with Stanley, until I found this website I had never heard of him before. Also, I never meant to defend Stanley, I meant to defend people that suffer from a deformity. I thought there were some really awful things being said that I still believe will have very negative consequences. I write on a lot of message boards, particularly about stem cells. That’s something else I feel very strongly about.
I’m sorry if didn’t respond to everything, it’s difficult when there are so many people I’m trying to respond to. I just read one of Jason’s messages which I kind of liked (some parts) but haven’t responded yet. To be honest, I probably won’t continue posting on this board at this rate. I’m sure a lot of people will be happy about that. At this point, I think I’ve said everything I wanted to say. If readers want to take it as BS, well it’s up to them. If someone agrees with what I wrote or if I simply opened some eyes to some new view points, then great.
To anyone I might have offended with some of my very harsh words, I apologize. Honestly, I’m a nice person, and I usually don’t talk like this. It’s been very stressful posting on this board because of so many personal attacks. I’m just not used to this.

My choice of words is a reflection of how I felt after reading that. I was not only in shock about what they wrote, but that no one had said anything. If someone can write something so awful and no one says anything, there’s something wrong in my opinion. When you say something like that about a baby being fucked up looking, you’re asking for it. Someone is probably going to respond with a lot of emotion. I’m sure Sherry and Eileen were well aware of this.
What I expected to happen is a calm board moderator voice comes in and tries to calm both parties, not pick sides and start attacking. Usually teaming up on someone isn’t going to bring out anyone’s best, especially if such harsh language and insults are used.
I’m sure I have a few more insults coming….. whatever, I know I’m a good person and would be huge asset on this board if people would calm down and stop the personal attacks.

Humanity speaks to all of us in different ways sometimes, but it’s universal. What we try to do on this website, above all, is set aside our small differences in favor of our larger and more important collective humanity.
Some people are incapable of doing that, and that doesn’t make them bad people. But this is a blog featuring some seriously heinous crimes, and the guilt of the perpetrators are rarely, if ever, in doubt. People have already gotten hurt. Stanley Tippett’s poor kids have a birth defect, among other problems that are no fault of their own, and it’s crass and immature to make fun of them. Equating a rational and compassionate adult’s momentary lapse into crass and immature behavior with the actions of a serial predator like Stanley Tippett is either an exercise in tasteless hyperbole or evidence of seriously unbalanced priorities. It could happen tomorrow, or not for a hell of a long time, but it WILL HAPPEN. In fact, you have much better odds of this defect showing up in your family than winning the 6/49 lottery. 1 in 50,000 people get Treacher Collins syndrome. The odds of winning the 6/49 lottery is 1 in 14 million. This is not to mention numerous other birth defects that cause deformity.
christ, I’ve probably forgotten more than you’ll ever know about compassion. I have a disability that’s caused me to spend a total of nearly two years in the hospital. Many of the medical professionals I’ve had to deal with in the ten-plus years I’ve been receiving treatment have treated me with condescension, contempt, and/or cruelty. I’ve had people, including my own family, say things to me that hurt me far deeper than a slam on my looks ever could.
People with Treacher-Collins syndrome aren’t ugly. Stanley Tippett is ugly. Stanley Tippett would be ugly even if he looked like Richard Gere. People who are warm and compassionate and friendly and witty and wise and wonderful, who also happen to have Treacher-Collins syndrome, are beautiful, even if their facial features happen to be far more distorted than Stanley’s. (Do a Google image search for “treacher collins” and you’ll see that our Mr. Tippett actually has a pretty mild case. You’ll also see a lot of bright eyes and beautiful, vivacious smiles.)
Oh, and if it were my child that had this deformity? I’d get in touch with a plastic surgeon. There’s a series of procedures that can be performed – many of them in childhood, and all by the late teen years – to correct the facial abnormalities of Treacher-Collins.

Chris Tippett, look at dictionary.com , one of the many easy-to-use online resources we all have at our disposal. Enter the word “Monster” into the search bar.
I’ve always used the word ‘Monster” this way, throughout my life. What else could it possibly mean? Rarely has anyone fit the definition so well, in fact the only part that Stanley doesn’t fit is the part about literal size – isn’t he kind of short? I didn’t even edit the entry as copied – anyone can look for themselves, any time. I’m sure that a regular BOOK style dictionary would have a similar definition as well. What other definition is there, even when you really think about it? Take all of the derivative words into consideration (monstrosity, monstrous, monstrously), and their correct usage, and that will verify the definition.
If you don’t like the word, Chris Tippett, I suggest you let the Gods of English know of your anger. Otherwise, eh…

lol, now you’re insulting me by calling me Tippet… If I felt secure telling you my real name on this board I would. But that’s not it. And again, I was pointing fingers at people discriminating against other people with a deformity. THAT’S IT. Yes, they weren’t doing it directly, but all those other people that suffer with the same thing as Stanley are being affected, I guarantee it.
I agree 100 percent that these brothers have probably completely destroyed their family name. I’m sure they’re very awful people. Why else would they be in jail. Believe me, I’m not defending them or their actions.
I don’t know why you guys had to belittle me with every single post. I think we could have had a really good conversation here. I like to write and share my thoughts, and I’m sure you do to. I’m just not up for constantly attacking each other.

Update for Everyone: Tippett was finally declared a dangerous offender, and has been given and indefinite jail sentence! At least he’ll be off the streets in my town for some time!
