This is 21-year-old Ria Ramkissoon, holding her 1-year-old son Javon Thompson.
Javon Thompson was a demon child, as any idiot can plainly see.
Ria Ramkissoon and her friends noticed that Javon Thompson refused to say “amen” after meals. After noticing this, Ria Ramkissoon stopped feeding him – as any faithfully religious mother would do.
Of course, being only one – an age where children can barely talk at all (which may have something to do with why he refused to say amen), Javon Thompson couldn’t really complain about being denied food and water for two days.
Instead he died.
His mother and her “Spiritual Advisor”, a woman who goes by the name Queen Antoinette, waited for the divine sign that the demon had been driven from Javon: a resurrection.
Instead, Javon’s body began to decompose.
For more than a week, police say in charging documents describing the scene, the child’s lifeless body lay in the back room of an apartment. Queen Antoinette, the 40-year-old leader of a group that called itself 1 Mind Ministries, brought in her followers and told them to pray. God, she said, would raise Javon from the dead.
Didn’t work.
After the Queen and her “Princes” and “Princesses” (as her followers are referred to) abandoned hope of Javon’s resurrection, they switched to Plan B. Queen Antoinette burned Javon’s clothing and mattress and put his body in a suitcase. She stuffed the suitcase with mothballs and fabric softener sheets, and opened it occasionally to spray disinfectant inside.
In early 2007, the Royal Nutcases stored the suitcase behind a home in Philadelphia and relocated to New York City, according to police, who found the suitcase more than a year later, the body still inside.
Ria Ramkissoon, and four other people authorities say are members of the 1 Mind group face first-degree murder charges in his death.
Ria Ramkissoon’s mother says that her daughter had been brainwashed by the cult and that Ria had acted only at the group leader’s will.
Ramkissoon’s mother says that her daughter’s association with the group began shortly after Javon was born in September 2005, when Ria Ramkissoon was 18. Ria was struggling to care for her baby while working and taking college classes. Ria’s mother insists that her daughter was not responsible for her grandson’s death, and was brainwashed by the Queen.
Ria Ramkissoon’s mother claimed that she did try to get custody of Javon, but it is unclear why the authorities did nothing. Authorities claim that they have no record of contacts by the grandmother.

Anyways, I just came across a story about the plea deal entered by Ms. Ramkissoon. Looks like she will plead guilty to a child abuse resulting in death charge. This took some doing on the prosecutors part; he had to agree to withdraw the charges against her when Javon resurrects from the dead.
Looks like someone is still under some influence from her cheery little cult, 1 Mind Ministries. Prosecutors feel like she is still a victim and needs to be reprogrammed to think clearly. Jimney crickets….if only the baby had that opportunity to be “reprogrammed”.
Ria will stay in prison until she testifies against the 4 members of the cult who were initially arrested with her. This will be sometime around August 11, 2009. She will then be released to a 20 year suspended sentence and serve 5 years probation. When all is said and done–she will have served about a year behind bars.
And–wanna bet Javon will STILL not be reincarnated??

This is a note to all who read these comments. I hope I can shed some light on this situation.
I was close to this family once and I held Javon Thompson on the night of his birth and several times during the first few months of his life. When Ria went missing, we were all concerned and tried to find her. When she was located, it became apparent that she was brainwashed into rejecting anyone not a member of the group she was part of. I know this made Ria’s mother very sad. Ricky and his other brothers and sisters never stopped loving Ria and Javon, never stopped hoping for their safety.
I haven’t stopped caring about this since the beginning of it. My relationship with the family ended shortly before Javon’s lifeless body was discovered in Philadelphia. Since then, we have learned slowly about the details of how he died. Seeta Khadan-Newton was the boy’s grandmother and I can tell you she loved both Ria and Javon through everything. She grieved his death and she worked to find Ria and get her out of the group. For all intents and purposes, the group functions as a cult, despite what the so-called Queen says in the courtroom. I will always believe there was no way Ria would do anything to hurt her son and the only way anything did happen to him was because they had complete control of her. If you had seen the way she loved him you would know what I am talking about.
I am following this case as best I can. I don’t think the outcome will include freedom for any of the people responsible for Javon’s death, including Ria. By pleading guilty she will accept whatever sentence the court imposes on her. I think Ria has to accept some responsiblity in Javon’s death and that is what is happening right now in the courtroom.
For people who don’t know all the facts or the people involved, I say shame on you for condemning any of them to Hell. I say that especially about Ria and her mother. You people who don’t know them cannot possibly pass judgment against them like you are. I side with Ricky, who grew up with Ria in Trinidad and Baltimore. He is defending the honor of his sister and nephew in these comments. While he has trouble expressing himself without getting emotional, it is clear he meant to be their advocate when they had no way of standing up themselves.
Well, as I was reading over this entry again, I saw that a “friend of the family” had taken it upon themselves to drop by just to let everyone on this site know how really innocent the mother is — just brainwashed, just misunderstood, don’t cha know?
As part of the human psyche, whenever we find a piece of evil in our midst, we quite often cannot reconcile the fact that we were duped in the belief we had that our loved one was a decent human being. How can that be?
And, so, like always, we seek to explain it away. If the person was brainwashed, then it isn’t our fault in the slightest for missing the warning signs, right? How can we be expected to fight that?
When Gary Ridgway’s older brother read the paper by the prosecution, he spent the entire night vomiting non-stop. He could not begin to deal with the details and his heart and soul were ripped forever from its anchor. This bit of carnage I have no problem dropping off at the feet of Gary Ridgway and adding it to the mountain of karmic debt he is to pay for — however, Ridgway’s brother didn’t make an ass of himself by running around spouting crap that his brother Gary was just misunderstood, that the victims didn’t count, that people had no right to be angry at him.

In our country, we have the right to express our opinions, and yes, that includes stating the belief that Ria is now, and will always be, a baby-killer. I don’t care what excuse (and it is an excuse not a justifiable reason) she claims to have. There are some things that cannot be frittered away, and the life of her son is one of them.
To excuse Ria is to kill the baby all over again. If Ria is mentally challenged, then you may have something to go on, but then it is everyone else’s fault for not taking custody of the child away from a mentally incompetent woman, isn’t it?
No matter how you look at it, Ria is to blame. SHE decided to join the cult, SHE agreed to let her child be punished, SHE was the adult with the power to make the decision to hook up with these creeps in the first place.
To those who cannot remember, as a child, I KNEW that the adults would be believed over whatever I had to say. For that reason, I could not wait until I grew up and once I hit early teens, then I tended to be extremely forceful and aggressive in making my opinions known. I knew very early on in life that some adults were asshats and very dangerous to my well-being. Unfortunately, adults are given carte blanche in the world, as being all-knowing and “smart”. They aren’t.
And don’t give me that crap about defending his sister’s honour: there is no honour left for her. She let her child down in a most unforgivable way. Tether your rope to her boat if you will, but don’t expect the rest of the world to join you on the Titanic.
The “honour” of a man who would defend such a sorry excuse for a mother is also in serious doubt. He chose to argue each person’s entry, despite the fact that most ignored his rantings. Remember: this site is not for the cult of Ria supporters. When you are a mother you just have the natural instincts to know if there is a situation where your child might be in danger.I can’t help but think about myself in that situation and know for sure right of the bat this is not good for my son or for myself .She is in my opinion 100% to be blamed in that little boy’s death.Are they serious she was brainwash really.You have a brain which is meant for you to use not for others to use it for you.And if the family is reading this i am from Trinidad so does my opinion makes me racist.Oh and yeah i also have a son i will never put him in a situation like that.
