  • Jerry Buck Inman

Tiffany Marie SouersDear Bleeding Heart Readers (you know who you are),

You know how you are always whining and moaning about how teenage rapists and murderers should be “spared”, because they are young and not responsible for their actions?

You might want to ask Tiffany Marie Souers how she feels about that.

    Oh wait - you can’t.

    Because she is dead.

Tiffany Marie Souers was a victim of Jerry Buck Inman. Before her encounter with Jerry, she was a beautiful, bright college student in South Carolina - with everything in life to look forward to.

Jerry Buck Inman, on the other hand, was bored and broke. He had just gotten out of prison 9 months before, serving time for sex crimes that he committed as a teenager. Jerry Inman was 37, and had been in jail for 18 of those years.

Jerry Buck Inman was wandering around the southern states for a while looking for people to hurt. He found two women who looked like easy victims and decided to give rape a few tries. He seemed to be a natural, after successfully raping one woman in Tennessee - but another in Alabama got away.

Then Jerry Inman saw Tiffany Marie Souers sitting on her porch near her college in South Carolina. It was a fateful moment for Mr. Inman. As he later told police:

I was out of money, so I was looking for something to rob. I didn’t mean for anyone to get hurt. I was just looking for some money.

Jerry Inman waited until nightfall and broke into Tiffany Souers’ abode. According to Inman he found Souers alone and asleep in her bedroom. After he put his hand over Souers’ mouth, she awoke and began to struggle with him. After wrestling with her for a while, Jerry Inman tied Tiffany Souers’ hands behind her back with a piece of clothing and demanded she give him her credit cards.

Jerry Buck InmanJerry Inman said, in one of his statements:

I asked her if she had any money, and she said no. I asked her for her purse, and she took her wallet out. I got her credit card and asked her for her pin and she told me but I forgot. After that, I had sex with her, and then I killed her.

She was found, dead, with her bikini bra top wrapped around her neck.

In that statement, Jerry Inman told police that he “knew Tiffany was dead because she stopped struggling.” Because he’s insightful like that.

Once he knew she was dead, Mr. Inman took her bed sheets, wallet and car keys and went out the back door.

So, you bleeding hearted people out there. Tell me again exactly why Jerry Buck Inman deserved to be out of prison - ever? Forget the victims of whatever crimes he committed as a teenager. Forget the two women he raped or tried to, and just think about Tiffany Marie Souers. She should be graduating from college. She could be meeting a man, falling in love, and getting married and having babies. Or she could be moving into a successful career, doing something that she worked and studied for.

Instead she is six feet under.

And this scumball was let out of prison and allowed to destroy her.

The only decent thing that Jerry Buck Inman has done is plead guilty and asked for a death sentence. Somehow I imagine if he ever actually gets close to being put to death, you bleeding heart people will be outside the prison, holding candles and mourning the impending death of Jerry Buck Inman.

Does Jerry Buck Inman deserve Hell?

The system sux. Rapists dont cant be rehabilitated and they really dont deserve the chance to be anyway. All they learn in prison is to be better crims.
Once someone has committed an atrocity such as this they no longer deserve to live. Im sure sick of my taxes going towards feeding and housing bastards like this.
That young woman had a life in front of her and now it is gone. He should have to die too.

Depends on why the murder took place.
This guy accojpanied murder with rape, so odds are he will repeat the rapes and murder just might go for the ride.

The Danger Zone reply on September 23rd, 2008:

When murder is the only crime it is rarely if ever repeated by the perpetrator. This is because most murders (without accompanying crimes) are a heat of the moment/passion type of crime. Most murderers learn their lesson the first time around.

Thieves, rapists, druggies and such do not learn the same way and are much more dangerous to society as a whole than murderers.

I know that he was young when he got locked up. And I would have had a bleeding heart for him before he became a criminal. After? Not so much.

I am SURE he had a crappy home life. He was probably abused and neglected. He was probably betrayed and hurt in ways that we can’y imagine, as a child. And with that I would I have pity, care and concern for him.

But the moment he took that first step. The minute he decided that evil and crime was the way to go - all of my pity flies out the window.

I would happily pull the switch on this guy. Especially today, after my daughter started her very first day of college yesterday.

Amy reply on August 26th, 2008:

Thats just it. A lot of kids ( as we see here in PYSIH ) are living with abuse. But they dont all go out and commit crimes. Some choose to better themselves and rise above the abuse and make something out of their lives.
Dickheads like Jerry here use it as an excuse to make themselves feel better about taking the life of another person.

Mazzi my father was in the Army while I was growing up. We moved every 2-3 years. I have lived all over the world. I had to get used to leaving friends, girlfriends and move to a colpletly new area and start all over again.

Soldiers were never paid that great. No silver spoon shoved up my ass.

What I am trying to say we didn’t have anything easy. And still I haven’t rapen anyone. I have not murdered anyone. Why is that? Simple I am not a shitbag who thinks the world owes me something. If I don’t get it then I have to take it. Screw that.

I work my ass for for what I have. I am honest and my life is open to my friends.

Lets not simply stick a needle in his arm. No we need to take our time and teach this shithead what suffering is all about. I have a number of good ideas. I am sure you do also. Together with Turtle I think we can create hell for this 2 legged animal for a few days.

      Good post by the way!

One other thing about this story - Inman says that he just wanted her ATM card and PIN. He told her that he would not kill her if she gave it to him. She gave it to him. Smart girl.

He killed her, and forgot the PIN. Stupid man.

They have video footage showing him trying unsucessfully to use her ATM card, and failing - because his teeny weeny little brain could not remember the code. It’s how they caught the fucker.

I’m curious what he did to go to prison to begin with. Wonder if he was a rapist before prison…if not, then that explains why he was let out. Prison makes people into what they are not sometimes. I hope he gets the Death Penalty…but not for awhile so he can get some more quality time in general pop.

Mazzi reply on August 26th, 2008:

I’m scouting around for that info now. But it HAD to be something serious. For them to put a year old in prison for so long a sentence that he actually SERVED 18 years of it - it had to be pretty bad.

He didn’t just screw his 16 year old girlfriend or pee in the park.

Heheh - I am having a stressy day today. This punishment was meant for Mark Castillo - the baby-drowner.

Buck the Fuck here - I think he could use a good old fashioned death by stoning.

The more I think of it, the more I like the idea of stoning to death. It’s theraputic for the victims and society, it is relatively slow and very painful for the victim, and the family can all come and bring a picnic lunch.

All in favor - say AYE!

Yes, I read that some of you think it was his upbringing. But my question is why take the rage out on innocents. If it was me, and people in my past gave me hell as a child, they’d all be dead by now. Every last one would be six feet deep.

Mom betrayed me/denied me her love – dead.
      Dad molested me – dead.
Uncle Tommy made me hold his cock – dead.
Aunt Betty starved me and locked me in the basement – dead.

I don’t know why these POSbags attack innocents. It’s unbelievable.

What I’m trying to say is that my vengeance would be on my tormentors and NOT on innocents that had no hand in making me mentally fucked.

We have to be careful not to generalize, or to paint all sex criminals or all child molesters/murderers with the same brush, but it’s true there large group of violent sexual criminals just like Jerry Buck Inman who can never be rehabbed, can never be fixed and need to be locked away and separated from civilized society forever. This group includes the pedophiles who prey on children younger than 10. These people gave up the right to live among the rest of us the FIRST TIME THEY COMMITTED THEIR CRIMES. Fuck their rights. Want to know what I worry about? 5 year olds being able to swing on the swing without some dickhead shaking his penis at then for kicks, 8 year olds playing little league without the threat of their coach being a closet diddler. Parents leaving their 9 month old daughter with the neighborhood babysitter and not coming home to find their baby’s vagina ripped to shreds.I know it’s naive, but it can be done if we all decide to say “enough is enough. What have we got to lose if we give it a try?

Being the asshole that I am, and seeing as I don’t like to think too much, I’m okay with generalizations.
People that commit sex crimes need to be put away for good, locked in special warehouses for people that commit sex crimes I have no tolerance. I can accept murder, robbery, arson, you name it and I may be able to find some justification.
Child abuse, any domestic abuse, and rape of anyone - I cannot tolerate.

I’m a bleeding heart. I’m also a psychologist. People who repeatedly commit violent crimes and/or crimes sexual in nature (those with antisocial personality disorder) are generally impossible to rehabilitate. They just don’t understand the emotions of other people, and can’t learn them except to imitate and manipulate. The current state of our justice system is completely ineffective in keeping dangerous people off of the streets permanently. As much as I hate the possibility of killing innocent people by accident, there are some people that are obviously going to go on to hurt others if given a chance. Common sense doesn’t really jive with bureaucratic law, which is full of red tape. I’m the liberal who supports the death penalty for these types of criminal. Unless we have the resources to deal with them (as in: truly retain them for life without the chance of parole) we can’t be letting them out due to full prisons, appeals, parole and good behavior. Unfortunately, this lack of resources also means we wrongly convict a lot of innocent people. It’s a catch-22. There is no perfect way to deal with violent crime, and I think that the death penalty should be reserved for repeat convictions, or definitively proven cases. By “definitively” I mean non-coerced confession, video/photographic or DNA evidenced. Man, this site is fascinating. Too bad about the political slant.

      [Reply]

Amy reply on September 11th, 2008:

You say that those who constantly re-offend given the chance to do so, cant be rehabilitated. Do you believe that someone that goes out and rapes or murders, and has no previous history of such behaviour CAN be rehabilitated?
Could you ever REALLY trust someone who commits such an atrocity to be able to function in society ever again?
