Corey Brown is a certified music therapist and, according to the people who hired and knew him, has a heart of gold.
Why is that you ask?
Because Corey Brown specialized in teaching music to kids and adults with learning or physical disabilities such as autism and cerebral palsy. Corey Brown came into their homes to help them improve their mental and physical conditions, and was well-regarded for doing so.
Corey Brown has also taught at several elementary schools over the years, teaching music and other basic subjects. All in all, Mr. Brown is a stand up kind of guy who has proudly represented Horizon Pediatric Therapy since August of 2006. If you would be kind enough to click on that link, it directs you to Horizon Pediatric Therapy’s website, which details that they’re now looking for music therapists.
This is because Corey Brown is out of a job.
Unfortunately for the families he provided his services to, he left a minor detail off his resume – the fact that Corey Brown is an indiscriminate sexual predator who thoroughly enjoys molesting the kids that he was supposed to be providing therapy to.
One of Corey’s regular clients was a ten year old autistic girl. He would provide music therapy to her once a week in her home. Unfortunately, while providing lessons in music, Mr. Brown was also giving her lessons in on what being sexually violated is like.
Authorities aren’t quite sure about when Corey’s abuse of the little girl began but they do know that it came to end on the 11th of August, 2008.
During Corey Brown’s weekly “lesson” with the girl, her mother attempted to retrieve a blanket from the room Corey and her daughter were in. Upon attempting to open the door, she found it locked. After some effort, she managed to get into the room and found her daughter partially disrobed. Corey tried to explain why this was so but the mother wouldn’t have any of it. She called police and filed a report.
Despite the fact the victim had limited communication skills, police were able to obtain enough evidence to arrest Corey Brown on the 15th of August, 2008 on child molestation charges.
After some investigation, authorities discovered that the little girl wasn’t Mr. Brown’s only victim. Brown had also molested a ten year old autistic boy and a 22-year-old man with cerebral palsy.
It appears that Corey Brown has no particular preference for boys or girls or people of a certain age. The only qualification for Mr. Brown’s arousal seems to be that the victims are unable to communicate with anyone about what’s happening to them. And, of course, just because a person can’t speak doesn’t mean that they aren’t conscious. One can assume that even though they can’t say anything, inside they were screaming at what was being done to them.
Corey E. Brown has been indicted on four counts of attempted molestation, kidnapping, sexual conduct with a minor and child molestation.
He should be charged with being an asshole whose “therapy” ensures that his subjects will need counseling for the rest of their lives, but he’ll probably evade that charge.
If convicted of all counts, Corey Brown could be sentenced to live the rest of worthless life in prison.
Let’s hope he gets a dose of his own therapy in prison. He’ll be the reverse of his victims. They weren’t able to talk about what happened to them but people cared when it was found out. Corey will be able to talk but whatever jailhouse justice he gets, nobody will care.

this just makes me so sick im a mother of a 7 year old autistic daughter and i would kill a person for doing anything to my child its scaring because my child can not speak i hope this man gets raped everyday in prison with broom sticks that brole off

When I clicked through to the website of Horizon Pediatric Therapy, I noticed that the job ad asks, “Do you want to be a part of a fantastic company that prioritizes taking care of their therapists?”
There is a mis-spelling in that sentence. The last word should not contain the letters ‘the’ at the start.

Sexual assult againt anyone is terrible. When its against children it is abhorrent. When its against disabled children…there are no words to describe what i think of this man.

I have just gotten home from a trip to the store. While there a young disabled boy that i know came running up to me with a HUGE smile on his face. ( I used to be friends with his mother but the friendship ended the day i found out that she was leaving him home alone while she went out partying.) He was happy to see me, and i was happy to see him. I said hello and told him to go find his mum. Mum came flying around the corner, grabbed him by the arm, flung him down the aisle, smacked him hard about eight times and screamed at him to stay where he is supposed to be.
I told her to lay off him, that he was just saying hello and did not mean any harm, but she just yelled at me to fuck off and mind my own business. Before i hauled back my fist and smacked her in the head, i walked out of the store.( Im not in the habit of hitting people, and she is pregnant.)
I drove down the road a bit and then pulled over as i was shaking with anger.
WHY DO PEOPLE IN POSTITIONS OF TRUST ABUSE KIDS? And disabled kids at that!!! I am so angry and i’ll phone welfare again and report what happened, and they will do nothing. As usual.

If you haven’t already, please, please call DFS (called CPS in some States). Someone has to call. It’s always after something terrible has happened that people say, “How did this happen?” It happens because people think someone else will already have called, or someone else is going to. Or people think, “I didn’t really see -enough- to call.” and they may not have, but if there are many reports of ’small’ incidents DFS/CPS has material to investigate with. It doesn’t have to be one time horrendous abuse to be noticed. Many ‘lesser’ calls show a pattern that can be looked into. The system isn’t perfect, but people have to use it or it has -no- chance of working.

I don’t mean to imply anything bad about you or towards you at all in this message. It’s just a plea for you and anyone that sees things like this to consider calling. So many people just don’t think along those lines that this is just kind of an open appeal to all. I think you already deserve Kudos for breaking off a friendship with this poor excuse of a mom.

No no…dont apologise. I agree with you 100%. Too many people turn a blind eye. I actually called CPS after i went to visit this lady one day and her son was on the floor crying. It was 11am, he had not eaten yet and his nappy was soaked through. ( even though he is 9 he is not toilet trained) I asked her if she would like me to make him some toast. She said no, he can wait. After another 5 mins his crying had escelated. She grabbed him and threw him in his room, grabbed a few slices of bread and threw them in afteer him and screamed,” there you go ya little cunt, now you can stay in there all day.”
I was APPALLED! And i told her so. SHe told me to mind my own business and so i left and placed that call. NOTHING was done by CPS.
Then a few months later i got a frantic phone call from her saying her new boyfriend had OD’d and she needed me to help her. Now while i dont use drugs myself, and hate drug abuse, i am a pretty decent kind of person and out of sympathy i jumped in my car after getting directions to the boyfriends house and went to help. I called 000 ( emergency in Australia).
They boyfriend was dead when i got there. SHe was stoned. I asked her where her children were and she looked at me blankly and said,” oh, id better ring my mum and get her to go sit with them.”
The stupid cow had left her 9 year old severly retarded son and her 8 month old baby HOME ALONE while she went out to party and get high with her boyfriend.
I told the police that the children were home aone. I told CPS what had happened. I thought, NOW they will hae to act. But you know what? Those kids are still in her care AND she is pregnant again!!
So this guy abuses people who can’t speak and get’s off on it? S-I-C-K-O. Man he needs some help. Chemical neutering anyone? Anyone?
These sick freaks place themselves in a position of trust just to be able to get close to kids. I know it is not fair, but anytime I see a male who wants to work with children I question his motives. It is like seeing a man at the playground who does not have a child with them. What the hell are they doing there without a child. I would not hang out at the playground without a child, it’s weird.
You have the guys who like molesting children who always want to date the single moms with little kids. Don’t even get me started on the camp counselors.
I have been wanting to get guitar lessons for my 8 year old son and I cannot bring myself to pursue it whole heartedly because I would have a seriously hard time leaving him with someone I do not know, especially to be alone in a room with a stranger. As much as I feel I may be holding him back from learning something he would really love, I feel I am protecting him from who knows what.
I know how you feel Dee. I worry about letting my kids go to the park, and for sleepovers at friends houses. They get mad at me and i tell them, you are my kids and its my job to protect you and you are not sleeping at anyones house until i know them really well.
And even then i stress.
I have taught all my children about protecting themselves and the difference between good and bad touching. I also enrolled them in kick boxing ( even the girls) and tell them that the only time they are allowed to swear is at someone who is acting inapropriately. Then i just have to trust that i have done my job well enough.
Amy, I’m with you – all we can do is teach and hope the kids understand. Just last night I talked to my 18 year old daughter about being careful, being aware of her surroundings, being ready for anything. She’s got the tools, I hope she never has to use them.
We can’t allow fear to dictate our every move.
And Dee, any guitar instructor, anybody teaching a kid, would be more than happy to let you sit in – I’ve taught guitar and didn’t mind when parents were involved, and I’ve sat in on my children’s lessons. Just don’t interfere with the instruction or try to impress the instructor with your Rock God prowess. Those musician types can be kind of sensitive.

My sister’s boyfriend works for a company that cooks for a prison.. He deals with inmates in the kitchen all the time, and has a very good idea of what prison life is like (from the outside.. he’s never been in prison, and never will be either.. he’s a good kid..eats his vegetables..etc).. Anyway.. He’s told my family that they get netflix movies.. they all have to agree on what to watch, but they do get to watch something.. They even have to make special food for religious ceremonies.. The muslims get their “feast”, the native americans and wiccans (yes, even the wiccans) get to order special food to be prepared for their holy day.. Most of these people didn’t find religion until the GOT to prison, and a lot of them only participate so they can do something special..
Prison isn’t fun.. it’s not supposed to be.. it’s supposed to be miserable.. it’s a punishment.. But american prison is nothing like other countries.. Prisoners in america live better than the free citizens of third world countries.. Wrap your head around that one..
