What the Romans meant is when a person gets drunk, he loses his inhibitions, and most times you get a glimpse at the real person. A drunken Gabe holding a piece of glass to your throat should scare the hell out of you for just that reason. Why it doesn’t baffles me and just about anyone with a normal thought process. Do you think you’re so worthless that people can treat you that way and get away with it? Have other guys treated you like this? Or worse? Did anyone come to your defense? I tell you what, if you were my daughter, I would have made that little shit Gabe eat that piece of glass for doing something like that.

As for what the cop did, calling it murder is way off base. He used a less than lethal option in a situation where he would have been justified in shooting Gabe dead. In some rare cases, people do die after being tazed, but the for the vast majority of cases it is a safe and effective way to subdue a perp.You can’t hold the officer responsible for Gabe’s death, because there’s no way he could have expected that he’d drop dead. It all would have been a moot point anyway if Gabe had dropped the knife when he was told to do so.
