Edward Harry Sliwinski
This is good ol’ Edward Harry Sliwinski. Ed is a Western Transit Company bus driver. Bus drivers, like Sliwinski, drive according to the motto “Safety first. . .schedule second” , which encourages bus drivers to plan their schedules so they will have plenty of time. Sliwinski is a first-rate bus driver who one day planned his schedule so well that he had plenty of time to molest a developmentally disabled passenger between bus stops.
On January 29, 2008, 24-year-old Jane Doe, a developmentally disabled student at Hope University, took her daily bus ride to and from school via the Western Transit Company, with Sliwinski at the wheel. Due to his exceptional planning, Sliwinski realized that day that he had plenty of time to take Jane Doe, who has the cognitive faculties of a 5 year old, to the back of the bus, sexually assault her, and still get her home on time.
So Sliwinski, AKA Employee of the Month, disrobed Jane Doe from the waist down, took pictures of her, orally copulated and digitally penetrated her.
After sexually assaulting Jane Doe, Sliwinski gave Jane Doe a brand new Ten Dollar bill and dropped her off, ON TIME, at her usual pick-up spot.
What a guy, huh people? Not only does he take the time out of his busy schedule to molest a mentally challenged young girl, he still gets her home on time, and even slips her a 10 spot for her trouble. This is a man who thinks of others I tell you.
The victim immediately told a family member about the molestation and the 10 dollar bill, who contacted the police.
Edward was thrown in the Orange County Jail on $100,000 bail which his disgusted and sickened family refused to post. He was charged with sexual penetration by foreign object of an incompetent person and oral copulation of an incompetent person, both of which are Felonies. He faced a maximum term of 10 years in prison.
On October 24th, 2008, Eddie took the easy way out and took a plea deal. He pleaded guilty to both felonies and was sentenced to a year in prison and five years probation. He also has to register as sex offender in California.
Det. Corinne Loomis, public information officer for Placentia Police, said: “Clearly we would like to see him in custody for a longer period of time, but I am pleased that he pleaded guilty to both counts, will be a registered sex offender and most important, that the victim was spared the trauma of court testimony.”
Well Corrine, I’m glad you think so, because it’s been my experience that this probably wasn’t Edward Sliwinski’s first violation of a helpless victim, and after he spends a lousy year in prison (or, more likely, 6 months), it won’t be his last either. But the criminal justice system keeps treating creeps like Ed the same way they treat shoplifters, and they keep on offending, until finally they go too far and kill a woman, or worse yet, a little child. I guess the best we can hope for is one of Edward’s fellow inmates gets to him before he has a chance to hurt another young, helpless female.

What is your experience sir? You say “because it’s been my experience that this probably wasn’t Edward Sliwinski’s first violation of a helpless victim” so surely you must be some credited official in these matters.
By no means am I defending the deplorable actions of this monster. I am simply wondering, what is your experience with sexual abuse?
My “experience” is following scores of cases like Mr Sliwinski’s and noticing an undeniable pattern in nearly every instance. A series of arrests with little or no jail time, until one day there’s a woman, or maybe a child, seriously injured or dead, a perpetrator with a record longer than my arm who has now graduated to rape-murder, and a criminal justice system that never seems to see how any of this adds up. You don’t think Eddie had the thought to molest this girl like some lightning bolt out of a blue sky, do you? Does that seem logical? I’ll put up what I know and what I’ve seen against anyone’s professional theories any day.
I have worked with this population for almost twelve years and I happen to work at a facility in OC that has many clients who use Western as a means of traveling to and from program on a daily basis. The state funds Western at a considerably higher rate than OCTA ACCESS services because of the fact that Western specializes in transporting people with far more serious cognitive and physical disabilites that require extra care and attention. This PIG FUCKER (no offense to our animal friends) probably got the job at Western for that specific reason. I would bet my first born that this is not the first time that he has done this. However, this time he underestimated his victim and her ability to speak up and advocate for herself. The saddening part about this is that the social services industry attracts predators. Just “google” developmental disabilities and the word abuse and you will see countless stories about the atrocities that have happened to these people at the hands of others that were supposed to care for them. I hope this FAT FUCKER burns in hell.
Thanks for your input poptart, That’s important information and helps confirm my theory about the predatory nature of all abusers of the helpless, and why they should be separated from the rest of society after the 1st offense if the proper conditions are met, to be made mandatory after the second offense.
Well in my 36 years I have follwed hundreds of these kinds of cases. Once these shitstains see how easy it is and ho lightly they get slapped on the wrist they will commit again and again and again. They will molest and destroy innocent people’s lives. They will cause grief in the families and they will not give a rats ass.

Here’s an idea. Lets get this blog on every computer in every jail in the country. That way we can let the inmates take care of the problem for us. They can be much more efficient than most court systems anyway.

I dont catch busses or trains anymore largely due to tha fact that when i do, im always the person that the ‘weirdo’ on the bus chooses to sit near. They hit you up for anything from smokes, to sex, breathe on you, tell you their life story, and sometimes fall asleep on your shoulder and drool.

The transit system kicks ass. You guys are going to think I am a stupid stoner for this but anyway, I am fine with that, this was just for research and footage. My friend and I road around on the bus all day with a video camera and a 3 foot colored glass bong exposed. The Legalization topic was huge at the time (last election). It was the perfect ice breaker for …”So what do you think is worse? Alcohol or marajuana? Should it be legal?” The reactions and interviews from the different walks of life were priceless. We were able to do this legally because the “water tabacco pipe” was brand new with the receipt, never been used. And you know, not one person seemed offended, not even the bus driver! Almost 90% agreed, alcohol is much more offensive and obnoxious then the harmless herb. When I say all walks of life I mean, officers of the law, lawyers, teachers, students, bums, jocks, old people :o), you name it, anyone that came our way on the busiest route of our metro downtown adventure, plus all had a bad memory from an experience with alcohol so it was too easy, we totally used that to our advantage. :o) The video, kicked ass by the way and proved the point well (my only mission).
