Sheesh, I don’t know what’s worse…taking the boy, torturing him, raping him, killing him, dumping his body, lying to police and whoever, or the sight of Peggy masturbating! Yikes! That’s got to be a cooter worth fearing and even the thought of her “O” face just makes me want to puke!

Seriously though, what horrible people and what a horrible crime to that little people. I recommend Blindfolded Marco Polo for them in a yard full of prisoners, especially knowing how popular Pedos and Child murderers are in prison.

BTW, if Donald is able to dump a body and lie to police, he should face some punishment. There’re lots of mentally deficient folks who more than likely wouldn’t do this kind of stuff and know that it’s just plain wrong. Idiot.

jesus christ…and people actually have the right to say i’m OVERprotective. they say it’s wrong that i home-school my son, that i never let him stay at overnight at friends’ houses, that i never let him out of my sight. they say, “it’s harmful to both of [us]“…well guess what? i bet christopher’s parents wish they hadn’t let him out of their sight. not that i’m blaming the parents…not at all. it’s just that people like the edenfields are EVERYWHERE!! parents can’t afford to look away. evil has made it impossible for parents to be overprotective. i may be paranoid, but a least, thank god, i have my son.

This is so true, no matter how much you teach and prepare your children for this type of situation, they most likely not going to know what to do, or actually do what we had told them to do. Not to blame this on the parents but I can truly say that my son is 8 years old and there is not a moment in his life that he would be walking by himself anywhere. Not across the road to grandma’s house, not walking in a group of children from the bus stop. We as adults, know.. truly know.. the danger and sick minded people are out there and there are more.. and more of them out there. If we ever.. ever.. give them an opportunity, they will take that opportunity and we will have to live with it for the rest of our life. So take a moment of your time.. parents, be at your child’s bus stop in the morning and after school. Hold their hand in the public places, don’t allow them to walk alone any where, drive them and pick them up from their friends’ house. You already know what dangers are out there, but your children doesn’t. Be scare for your children sake. Build a wall around them.. protect them, so what if you are over protected. We have to eliminate the opportunity for those sick basters.

When I first saw the news about Elizabeth Smart being abducted, I just knew she was dead. It struck me. It just struck me right between the eyes and tried very hard to turn something in my mind off. Months later, when she was rescued, and the citation of her words were “thou speaketh,” I felt this rush of relief.

These are empathetic responses to the suffering of another human being. They’re the core of literature, the core of art and ultimately the heart of the social adaptation of our species. Human beings who learn from and protect against the predation of our species by individuals who choose to be outside of it, successfully stave off for a few more generations the Time Machine’s prediction of the Eloi and Murlocks.

I hadn’t read the comments on this article before…having just seen the update, then coming to read the original story.

I read as many comments as I could without being terribly annoyed, and feel like I can answer a question that kept coming up: “Why do people read sites like this?” Most people realize that being aware of who/what is going on helps us all stay more alert, more grateful, and especially more aware of what is going on in our world. Things that maybe many people never have cross their minds. The opposite would be to stick our heads in the sand like an ostrich & ‘pretend’ nothing like this ever happens. Who does that benefit?

Well, people, there are trauma survivors in the world who are very committed to keeping Up to date on these stories. Specifically those of us who’ve survived childhood abduction. Yes, we feel a need to read and know what is going on. Yes, we feel a need to remind ourselves to be grateful we are alive – to continually remind our children about the dangers in this world &/or how to avoid or escape them if possible. We also feel a need for others to know what horrible dangers face our/your/their children. Yes, we’d like the entire world to know.

For everyone who said this story made you sick, Thank You. It should. It makes me sick too (although, admittedly in a more personal way). We trauma survivors thank you for looking at & thinking about what no one really likes to know. For sharing our disgust, sadness, pain & desire to shed light on all these sickos. Never letting them hide in the darkness of their crimes as they wish they could.

I’m sorry, I know this post is old, but you sir, are a douche bag. No, you are worse, you’re Peggy Edenfield’s douche bag.
Lighten up? You love murdered children? What a sick fuck you are.
Just because people visit this site does not mean they love murdered children, or even reading about them. As it has been said before, these children should be acknowledged, this site brings awareness and it is a hell of a good place to vent our anger about shit like this. And the details are included because it serves as a reminder of how truly sick some people in this world really are. It is a reminder for those of us who are parents (as you yourself clearly are not, or you would not crack jokes about a dead baby) of the importance to always protect your kids, because sick shits like these people are always lurking around the corner. So as you sit there and pull your pork at stories like this, you just remember that a family and an innocent baby boy have suffered a great deal here. And if you don’t like anything that I have said here, or if I have offended you, please feel free to fuck right off.

This story made me (literally) want to vomit. It never ceases to amaze me how no matter how many of these stories I read, I don’t get numb to the horrors. I suppose that is a good thing..but it rips out my heart every time. I can not imagine what it does to Christopher’s parents.
